1. Asuna is the primary duelist and cryo has played more games on smokes than on duelist.
2. Being an integral and good player doesnt mean u have to have premier aim. I think he has insane aim either way.
3. Enlighten me on who is a better pickup, you mention penny but that guy hasnt played in tier 1 since mid 2021 on version 1. More recently he played for YFP in tier 2 but his team got delegated after they placed bottom 2 in tier 2 and in yfps most recent tier 2 challengers tournament he had a negative kd with a negative rating. Even during 2023 he had like a 0.8 rating and a 0.8kd. This doesnst sound like a player who is better than cryo who last year and in 2023 went positive on kd and rating in every tournament (in tier 1 and not tier 2 btw)

I still feel like it will be fresh since there will still be pretty but the same amount of new talent coming in and out of tier 1 with or without a tier 2 ecosystem. This is mainly just due to the older players retiring so obviously newer players will need to take their place. My point is more so that the skill of new tier 1 players wont be higher than if there was a tier 2 ecosystem

I agree with your last 2 points tho. I recon there will be like 3-4 orgs for each region that would pay full time salaries, especially bc of the new relegation rules. There will prob be 2 new teams each season for each region until 2028 or whatever where the org amount reaches the limit at 14-16 each region or however many it was. This is a decent incentive for orgs to invest as if they get a 30%-40% chance for ascending with a salaried roster then I would imagine a fair few orgs would take this opportunity.

I would like to point out that in the 2024 bracket all the group stage games were practically done all in a week whereas this year we have had 0 elimination games so far.

Imagine valorant without tier 2. Players will just be picked up from ranked, premier or pug teams. Barely anybody even watches tier 2 so its not like people actually care the gameplay in tier 2, people just care that highly skilled players can hone their skills in tier 2, we can see many new highly skilled players with tier 2 salaries as they can then afford to spend lots of time on valorant and compete with tier 1 players, etc...

So valorant without tier 2 will still feel like the same game for 90% of viewers, the only real difference being that future talent may be harder to come by. This however is not enough to kill an entire esports scene.

Not sure if this is what u mean, yes there is a 4 day break between the first half and the second half of emea, and pacific. Its annoying for the viewer but teams need time to prepare and it would be unfair if a team played a match then only had a day or 2 for the next and then lost and then they are out for around 2 months. In regular season teams get 1 week of preparation for each match and its pretty much the same for kickoff here.

good idea but the last part would never happen bc of logistics, these skins take like 8-12+ months to make and making a whole skin and releasing it a year late wouldnt work very well. And so instead if rito makes a skin for every single team and just release the one depending on which team won champs would also be bad as it would cost a ton of money to make all of them and at that point they may as well release a vandal capsule set for every team instead.

Yes phantom is better at spraying through smokes and its better in short distances but thats about it. I find that this website called ValScan is actually very good at this more nuanced stats like it includes play creation and man advantage creation rate in its rating and it also has other calculations like kills during buy rounds > kills during anti-eco. It's also got heatmaps of your games and other stats and is better than vlr rating and val tracking rating tbh.

ValScan also gives more rating for entrying and less for getting kills from baiting and overheating.
