I think people are slightly overreacting to the jett changes. Rn jett (mainly) and raze (slightly) are the best all around duelists, meaning if you dont have a specific plan in mind, theyre just the best all around, but on maps where jett is the best (unlike raze maps where you can often still run a jett), no other duelist really comes close, like ascent is so heavy jett sided, breeze was heavy jett sided, haven is also jett sided as the raze pickrate on that map has died out this year, but now with this nerf, jett will no longer be the "always best option" and now will be more with other duelists where you pick one of them for a specific reason/play style. As for overall util changes, I dont think its a bad idea but then again we'll have to see, I do want more rounds to be decided by pure shooting and less of a whole laser beam across the map at the start killing 1 guaranteed (c0m) and tagging more

SF imo

yes but I dont see the point, team just needs an igl tbh, pancada and sacy work well and are developing with the team, zekken on 1st entry 100% of the time and have tenz on 2nd entry/lurking duelist (like reyna/yoru) and then a sentinel igl like fns or johnQT or Valyn who is able to adapt mid game and counter strats without always having to rely on kaplan. Sen's weakness wasn't their prep but rather their inability to adapt to opponents, had Sen gotten through LCQ, they could have put up a good fight, but after their first 2 strats are seen through and now they have to adapt to enemy strats, they would fail. Firepower from marved will be missed, but its better to have an igl with a better understanding on the game imo

No, you either remove both brazilians or keep both imo

Tell me you never seen prx in regionals without telling me that youve never watched them smh first international in his first season in T1, dude got picked up for the slums of Japan and was expected to perform like s1mple or something, even demon1 struggled in tokyo, overreaction at its finest

posted about a year ago

Lock/in was fun, sure its a shitty tournament but no other tournament came close to the hype it had, people just dislike it because of FNC but that final was incredible, derke and aspas at their peak, pacific looked much stronger with talon and TS acc doing great. Tokyo was already great, cgrs was an incredible player, fnc dominance and eg really kicking in their bm plus great crowd and production. Champs had fantastic production, games were a bit weaker in the uppers but the lowers were pretty good towards the end, loved seeing drx and loud being back to their best, whereas fnc stumbled and prx and eg killed it; final was a tad bit underwhelming (would have liked a game 5) but overall the last day production with streamers went crazy

posted about a year ago

would completely throw away their style imo, plus benkai was their dedicated igl and in copenhagen they still got shaky so its a matter of getting over their nerves individually than anything

Good luck in your future brother, hope you have a good time!

Maynnn its sad but prx were the worse team, while no one from any team played bad, but rather pretty well, the players from eg were consistently playing above the 10/10 ratings, demon1 and then jawgemo, divine wasnt in his tokyo nor league form, just sad but well deserved by eg

posted about a year ago

Should have just picked up enzo and there wouldnt have been any igl issues

KK>something for this year, both were dominant in regionals but kk HAS been more in international, divine>something just much more influential, forsaken over ethan, I mean the dude went from hard jett entry to kj and harbor and still puts up 10/10 day in and day out wtf also why tf is trent and nismo here without s0m who was the best player from nrg during regionals and played exceptional despite being compared to marved and assumed he would fail? Also no Jawgemo? Dude also went from hard raze entry to flex and still puts up great numbers. Monyet from GES should be included if we are also trying to add sScary imooo

Okay wait, so far we have been assuming only the 5th man (marved) has been getting moved around cuz usually we see the other 4 playing, but does this mean that they have also been moving around or still just many different 5th man

are they like unofficial scrim partners lol btw 5th is clearly james_ff himself

You cant realistically expect them to change a comp thats been working for them for half an year for just one tournament where they look sleazy can you? They could have changed their comps prior but thats not how it works? Prx's pearl comp, innovative asf has been used ever since something got introduced into the roster, thats like 3rd week into apac league and they didnt change it because its been working, fnc dont loose because they dont study prior to the game and are not trying to change things up, they loose because they constantly struggle to adapt to pressure and counter strats. For example, Sentinels in lcq lost because of the same thing, they couldnt adapt and kept doing the same contact hits into site against ops and shit. You really cannot blame them for looking at their comp and strats, seeing how effective they are and then deciding to keep them, why change if they work? That is meta, they WERE meta, but then they got pushed off because they couldnt adapt to the NEW meta, whether it was half buy at lockin or any other strat that fnc used prior, they were setting the standard, its just that Loud innovated upon what fnc had built.

I love how they looked at the agents pick % (in champs) and saw that raze was ahead of jett and still decided to curb stomp jett, anyways time to return to my calling as a reyna main

nah its the crowd really cuz even though home advantage exists, there should have still been some respect shown by the fans during champions

could still be fns considering dude was on an alt + nitr0 (if assumed to be the 5th rn) isnt confirmed so they could trial fns too and pick him over nitr0

hypothetically, why would prx pick lotus over pearl?

posted about a year ago

Just turned a duelist into a sentinel lol, he is fine as he is, his tp times are long but he has the longest (distance) tps, his kit is all about isolating a 1v1 and dipping and a good player does that really well. He works really well on maps that allow for early contact, like shower contest into a tp to long in bind

cant be talking about domination when youre a cned fan, ardiis would never let fpx fall this low

Tenz has said that he sucks at holding angles and that could be because adhd really kills your patience to sit and look at an angle for a period of time

NRG just got read 90% of the time, BLG were aggressive but not usually without a bit of info so the attacking op didnt get value, nrg comp also lacked info unlike BLG who had cypher so a lot of things like 2 duelist comp being extremely predictable, 2 duelist comp lacking the ability to do a lot of fakes and variations due to lack of util, lack of overall info and then just being unlucky by getting read a lot and not having proper util like breach's to take care of corners with a judge or just stop the push with a stun imo

posted about a year ago

I cant find any clips or anything about it

posted about a year ago

forsaken calls more attacks than davaii so if youre assuming davaii to be an igl then forsaken is one too lol also saadhak has fragged out on significantly bigger stages than king
