Pacific Timezone event. Let’s go!!!
also same weekend
https://www.vlr.gg/event/2216/gwangju-esports-series-asia-2024
not exactly Korean, but KangKang can. He's already a household name in VCT.
agree, rebuilding phase never instant success, only good later around June.
I personally like new valorant better, 2021 & 2022 VCT only VS/DRX and PRX are somewhat developed enough to catch up against western teams. Now there's more asian teams developed enough that can provide stronger competition (GenG & EDG). As a pacific timezone watcher 2023 tokyo was first tourney in daylight time, 21 & 22 was full of midnight matches. BIAS I know crazy.
This SPG roster still undefeated since formed btw. Gotta give credit being consistent AND dominant.
what'd u expect? new roster = rebuilding phase, while other team refining their team.
MongolZ 2-0
GenG only offer 1 year contract anyway, roster wont ever stay the same.
DRX is peaked, top 4-6 champs, any roster change = only making 1 international turney.
T1....has autumn.
2024 Champs was in Seoul, tilt is probably because they don't wanna disappoint the home crowd,
and..... turns out SPG is the "GenG of 2025" with the form and dominance they show at pacific ascension and throughout the entire 2024 year. That roster still undefeated since it was formed btw.
winning it all
ALL. I swear, if they lose a game, a map, or even losing a single round NOT 13-0 till end of the year, this yoman player gotta be a fraud then. I'm expecting ALL now.
If u watch SPG at ascension, they can definitely compete with PRX/DRX/T1. Don't take my word for it, sliggy seems to agree as well.
last year SEN didn't make masters/champs, 2023 is completely removed from their memory.
they get to scrim CN teams (region that won champs) and play APAC ranked (strong mechanics, strong aim region).
main event group stage gonna be bo1 too, until playoffs.
wat de fk, the only post I made related to TS is mostly making fun of the nepotism shit. I support EDG, but in pacific I support T1, in which the 2nd paragraph talks about. GPT must've picked up a recent comment of me saying GE has Filipino, means choke in playoffs. My EDG support is real, of East Asia LCQ post, fk you chat GPT.
French team going all out with the signings.
Valorant uses metric system as unit measurement so thats a positive.
window only closes as roster lock needed to register masters/champs international tournament only.
people can have the right etc (each to their own), its just americas specifically the entitlement to want 'newer recent' things to be normalised is crazy. I always prefer peacefully coexist instead of pushing things to be publicly accepted normalised.
those regions have very little issue with traditional beliefs who can/should compete, americas have these "freedom" technicalities.
No need for those rules to exist in EMEA/Pacific/China, but for americas....
remember the mongolz situation? They won premier for JP region but never got the invitation to play in JP challengers as the rule from premier -> challengers require 3/5 JP players. So as long as you stay in premier, there's no rule for imports, but when you qualify to challengers, thats when import become matters.
my favourite part is when he was on VCRGTA got in to jail.
Uruha (cop) said: we got rules here you know.
XQQ: I AM THE RULE
ZETA vs EDG final for maximum viewership.
As long as Asia on top doesn't matter.
*KR and CN. Just like League. Just like the script intended, Its RIOT game after all.
80% of champs viewers are from China. Tokyo timezone for champs is best for viewership.
Johnta not in asia yet.
in Buzz's signing video he said team havent had much practice together, dont expect much this early.
Sliggy will but gonna miss the first 3 game.
