Hoje tem a estreia do Carlos Lanchelotti e antecipo que, em caso de vitória, estarei iludido desde já. Ballon a Vini na seleção até a sexta estrela.
Look at the original post LMAO bro couldnt handle being contradicted by like four people
nah bro thats not how it works. The MVP of the season cannot be from a team that placed 12th-9th at kickoff and 5th-6th at Stage 1, its a team game. Besides, Cryo was only insane in group stage of Stage 1. He did good at kickoff and Stage 1 playoffs but you cant call him MVP because he farmed groups im sorry.
Overall i do think its a really good debate and its fine to belive Chron to be the GOAT as he is indeed a legend, but i slightly lean towards Aspas here because his regional dominance is unmatched and he is almost always the best player on his team which Chron never really was.
None? Its definitely between Leaf and Trent bruh G2 won both Kickoff and Stage1 and they played insane, i would say Trent.]
but if i have to choose between Cryo and Aspas, then its Aspas. MIBR finished 3rd in both events and my guy was dropping a +46 nuke on kickoff lower semis
I mean they both played well on Stage 1, but if "good" to you means lighting the world on fire every game then no
Goated sports anime and its rarely mentioned when someone asks for good sports anime recommendations. People will recommend fucking Blue Lock before Eyeshield 21 😭
i just think people talk about it less often than they should. Personally i have yet to find an anime with as good in-depth discussion about social and political problems such as colonialism, racism, xenophobia, war etc. Like its by far the anime that deals the best with these topics and yet when people in the community want to talk about this stuff they bring up something like AOT and then the discussion just comes down to "Yeah man war is bad :( and both sides are losers in the end! War really sucks man :("
"past his prime" meanwhile 2025 Aspas:

Do pros not watch the games as well? Because most of them who have publically spoken about the topic agree Aspas is the GOAT like Fns, Nats, Zekken, Derke, Sacy, Jawgemo etc.
And no, not all the roles are equally important. If a duelist is good enough he can singe-handedly win you a series (which Aspas has done multiple times), thats not the case with any other role. Duelist is by far the most impactful role in the game and this is not arguable (and you seem to agree with me because the 2 players you mentioned as "carries" are duelists). There is a reason why Aspas' teams are always finding success. If Aspas was a controller i guarantee you MIBR and LEV wouldnt be anywhere near as good/successful in 24 and 25. Aspas is the hardest carry in the history of VCT and its not close.
No one is closer to being the GOAT than him.
This is a bad example because 2G had a sub and it was literally their first game at the t1 level, even G2 was looking hella mid in their first t1 tournament. Prime 2G would have 26-0 FURIA.
But i do agree the gap is not that big, the worst D tier teams in VCT are pretty much the same level as the best S tier teams of VCL
It seems there is a lot of VALORANT haters on this website so I'll speak up.
VALORANT seriously brings me undescribable amounts of pleasure. The graphics/artstyle is genius! The game is easy to run so I can play with my friends from other tax brackets! RIOT Games brings updates to accomdate and improve based off our feedback! VALORANT gives us new content at a perfect rate to not overwhelm or keep the game stale for too long! VALORANT is simply so perfect! Who agrees??
i mean he is not the undeniable GOAT like Faker but he is definitely ahead on the discussion as of now. If you do a pool on who the GOAT is with every VCT fan he is definitely winning it. Most pro players agree as well. Even Riot seems to agree honestly just look at how they portray Aspas whatever its an official VCT promo for a tournament he is on.
even thou this is the least hyped final in quite some time i think it will be the best one to watch since Messi and Ronaldo left
3-3 regular time
4-4 overtime
PSG wins on penalties
i guarantee you BR is like almost half of the VCT Americas fan base
I dont trust anyone that doesnt side with PSG today
putting Coldzera and Demon1 in the same sentence is straight up a crime. Cold was the uncontested best player in the world for 2 years straight, D1 was for half a season...
MINHA NOSSA SENHORA!
O IMPOSSÍVEL ACONTECEU MEU DEUS DO CÉU!!!
wtf i didnt knew Ethan was at Berlin
my bad then
Boostio has the edge on criterias 1 and 4. Ethan has 2. 3 is a draw. I dont see the issue but i guess they could be in the same tier arguably.
Jaw just demolishes FNS in every criteria except 4
? He only misses somewhat on Community impact. Longevity is ok. Individual skill and trophies/deep runs is one of the highests on the list. I dont see the problem
How do you managed to have 3 TH players but Riens is not one of them LMAO
Criterias:
https://imgur.com/gallery/ZD4VB9D
https://tiermaker.com/create/vct-2025-americas-player-ranking-924719
Aspas clears Chron in criterias 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7. How is he not 1st?
Very good list thou
i think the "weak top 1" problem has a lot more to do with the teams rather than the players. Players like the ones i mentioned were always at the very top but their teams were struggling sometimes which harms them undeservedly. 2025 will be even worse btw
You could argue for a lot of players i think
T3xture, Zekken, ZmjjKK, Aspas, Riens...
Personally i think it was Zekken
why are you Naruto all of a sudden
Aspas 2024 is his best individual version and 2022 is his worst (still unbelievably good of course). Even 2025 Aspas is doing better than 2022, at least in my opinion.
"enough already" LMAO what are you some anime character? i watched this video ages ago and yes he is not the most agressive duelist but its a fact he has more first engagements than everyone on his team since ever, champs 2024 was the exception
LMAO
aspas vs g2
23 first kills / 16 first deaths
six op kills whole series
aspas vs sen
10 first kills / 8 first deaths
ONE op kill whole series
i could do this with every game but this is already enough. Yall are clowns bro
as i said, some games he doesnt take the most first engagements, but for the most part he does. He is the 3rd player with the most first engagements in all of Americas Stage 1, but aint no one pointing that out because it doesnt fit your narratives
"stats show that he is a baiter" he has the most amount of first engagements on every team he has been since ever and its not close. Sure for some games he is not the one taking the most first engagements but for the most part he is
The video in question proves that he is not btw
Cortez was the one that called the bait setup in the moment you are refering to btw
bruh its the old meta, also i guarantee you they dont give a single fuck about EWC so they will lose this series and will look pretty bad while doing it
