The fade eye is a lot easier to destroy, predict, and deal with then the recon bolt and you often can't get it into similar positions to spam with Odin.

I don't think instalocking is inherently bad but blaming your team for locking more duelists when you instalock is stupid. You both have the same issue of inflexibility, you just locked first putting the burden on them. In that scenario, you can't be mad if they don't perform because that same thing would happen to you too
