That's fair too, I'm curious to see how G2 LEV and LOUD SEN but we have to wait till the 31st bruh

posted 1 week ago

That doesn't justify having "gap" there tho. We've seen a ceiling for 100T and besides split, their other two maps didn't look very good. I'd say SEN cleared them fairly easily with a map 1 slip up; the game wasn't that close.

Include LEV in that as well is even worse

posted 1 week ago

Putting 100T above LOUD, especially saying "gap" after Loud 2-0ed both opponents and 100T lost is pure cope.

Top 4 at champs and possible goat player and losing him is an upgrade?

Why does it say fpx is trying to qualify for ascension?

posted 1 week ago

Is this the death of kj/Cypher? They've hardly been played at all, and instead teams are just running double controller with double initiator/duelist. Besides vyse, it seems other trap sentinels are takinga huge hit because of tejo and more explosive playstyles.

Feels more like anyone could lose ngl

Why you saying that with a Lev flair?

I mean it is booms map pick and only the first half

That's what they said 2023 champs as well and we all know what happened

With BBL, KC, Navi, and Vit that we've seen good play from and Fut, TH that we haven't seen but we know are good? I think it's a stretch.

Map two of Bilibili-Xi Lai was lotus, not fracture, and bili bili didn't tie up the match and trigger the decider, they just won

In the mibr 100T game who do you think will be more successful? Zander or Cortezia and Xenom?

He thrives off of people like you. He feasts on your blood and consumes your heart. He knows your desires and laughs in your face as he denies them. He is a devil in disguise and you have fallen right for his trap.

I would be correct in assuming the non-flash pick rate is from deadlock, right? Teams have tried it out to some success, but what after a few games it begins to get counter-strated easily. The only team that I could say had longevity with this comp was Lev, which doesn't show success as a no flash archetype. These comps have a high winrate initially because of the surprise factor, but once they get figured out they stop using them, leaving them with a high winrate even if the comp didn't last.

Wrong reply

posted 2 weeks ago

Ascent is also the map with the highest picked comp ever. Any comp that brings something different will have an effect simply because it's different. We've seen multiple times other comps tried (Loud 2024) and deadlock, to name a few, but they never find much value past the first few games, giving them an inflated win rate because once they get figured out they stop playing them.

Then sometimes a harbour for the sage nowadays. Still, I think it's the attack sided nature that makes it unnecessary to run flashes and instead it's beneficial to run other agents like sage/harbour for planting

posted 2 weeks ago

What comps on icebox were run then without flash? Gekko/kayo was very popular

posted 2 weeks ago

I would guess it would have to do with the attacker sided nature of these maps. Flashes are great for attack, but on larger maps more recon is favoured. Also, are you counting gekko as a flash? I'm curious

posted 2 weeks ago

Viper did for a long time

posted 2 weeks ago

That might be their game plan but the thought behind their comp is different. You wouldn't be able to play a chamber as effectively without the flashes from yoru/vyse

posted 2 weeks ago

The theory that BBL is using in their comp (replacing flash initiator with yoru/vyse) opens up a spot in comp that can be filled with any agent. In this instance they're using a chamber, but what other agents that aren't used because they don't fill a traditional role in a comp do you guys think will be used?
