Crowd sounds much more into it than earlier today
With the intercontinental franchise leagues coming, does that mean that a team in the Americas can have a completely mixed team with a bunch of people from BR LATAM and NA or is there some type of restriction
Wtf is the crowd supposed to react to during downtime
I feel like there's at least a thousand different Liquid CSGO moments you could put for this
at this point they should just go back to Australia, rotting around in T2 NA isn't going to be good for them in the long run
I'd assume that it's because getting visas, especially for the Russian players, would be really hard but apparently esports players are given P-1A visas for American events so I don't really know anymore
Drake and Ariana are 2 of the biggest stars in the music industry right now, maybe you just don't pay attention to popular culture
as far as I read it is actually pretty easy to get a singaporean tourist visa if you have the right documents on hand, tho idk exactly what type of visa the players would need to get
scrim results don't matter, a team could lose a scrim 24-0 and for all we know they could have had the most productive scrim session they've ever had, it's just an opportunity to practice plays and get your reps in against actual competition
Does Singapore have a very large esports scene? I would think if riot would hold an event in APAC it would be either in JP because of the large fanbase or in KR because of the existing infrastructure. I don't think SG/MY has either of those lol
prolly for easy visa access, idk exactly about other APAC countries but I know Japan and South Korea are hella tough to get a visa for
Turkey has a big valorant scene that's why champs is there
ez for NA
Elderflame is the most overrated skin collection, bullets sound weird asf, the gun looks weird, the only redeeming quality is the reload
there was like no advertising for the LAN and most team's fans barely even know if their team is gonna make it until like a couple of weeks before the event, unless you're an EU fan that already knew about the event and your team is in the top 4 then I doubt you would have bought a ticket. Like fuck I don't even know where you can buy tickets
I would go if Olivia Rodrigo shows up
Eh, his performance on the entry role always seemed flat and way too structured compared to other natural duelists like TenZ used to, in Masters 3 Berlin and NA LCQ whenever he played jett he often went negative and he clearly looked the most comfortable off the entry role and on secondary entry like he was with raze and reyna. Also, Will is a very poor OPer, and are you really going to take Derrek off of initiator/flex when that's clearly his best role?
I don't think you understand how many matches are played in a day
they played in the Red Bull Home Ground #2, which lets be honest here not a single team took seriously
Asuna really shouldn't play entry, he should play flex/secondary initiator
100T never really are or were an OPing team, they don't have a star OPer on their team the way FaZe or OpTic do, so I don't see why they have to lean into one of their weaknesses even if chamber is broken. Chamber is heavily reliant on individual performance, almost on the level Reyna is, and tbh whoever the sentinel player is whether it be Bang like you said or Stellar like it used to, they would get more value out of playing cypher or killjoy
the US suicide hotline actually is now 988
there's a list of all of them around the world here:https://blog.opencounseling.com/suicide-hotlines/
there still will be cinderella stories, just in a different way. Maybe it's a team that started the year at the bottom of the table suddenly going on a crazy win streak and getting upsets over the top teams to just barely qualify for a masters or champions tournament, or a team with new recruits going on an insane run to playoffs. If riot can play their cards right and properly play up the storylines, we can still get cinderella stories.
COTE is goated, you should read the light novel
they aren't even comparable in premise lol
sponsorship money, what else would it be for
unrelated but I rlly like ur name
I remember back in M3 when SMB was the hottest EMEA team in the world and then they just fell off a cliff and then we never heard anything about them since
Americas franchise league in LA would mean I could see LANs lfg
imo Sentinels won a mickey mouse event so they shouldn't get a skin
Probably coming after franchising and then a part of the profit goes to the org, riot needs some incentive to make the competition for the spots even harder
No matter how much I bash this site, I actually have a lot to thank for its role in helping me get into competitive valorant. It puts all the necessary information that I need to look at tournament information in a concise way in an easy to understand menu, and the extensive stats and rankings system helped me to understand who the good players and teams are before I knew what the fuck I was watching in valorant. Thanks vlr staff y'all doing great
derke's gonna leave when he's an old washed player?
All the ranked demons are finally getting their time to shine
The only players I can even think of are players like yay, derke, F0rsakeN or Jingg, like that's literally the only people I would deem worthy of getting that money
Holy shit that is so sad, as a society we really need to do more about mental health and not make seeking help such a stigmatized thing.
100T has very unique ones, kinda like Gambits
I can't open the link, can someone screenshot?
they do have one, it started off pretty bad but right now it's apparently pretty good
if they destroy the T2 scene I just hope riot makes a good academy system
DZ the most dedicated T2 team OAT
I doubt they'll re-release the Champs 2021 bundle already, they'll maybe bring out a champs phantom or OP with a champs butterfly knife
you just need to get used to interacting with weirdly aggressive people on vlr
Why wouldn't Gambit apply for franchising? That just seems like a stupid decision
If valorant gets bigger then I bet the leagues will expand but I think for now 12 teams is pretty good in terms of bringing in viewership. The dedicated fans can see their teams play consistently every week, diehards will be decently satisfied with seeing high level valorant and casual fans will be easily able to jump into the game without having to wade through 50 rounds of open qualifiers and confusing formats to figure out who is going where and what's going on.
