both sen and lev have to qualify through the bracket and not go out immediately past knock out round
If they don't make it to champs than their biggest accomplishment this year will be getting 1 round against heretics on sunset
So many changes were made right before split 2 from split 1 and so many of them just did not pay off, Almost like making a last second change this late wont work. Only oens that seem to have worked have been hiro and primmie and hiro wasn't even by choice.
What other changes have worked?

Furia played insane but It does not make any sense. Loud have pancada back but even then It just feels like they do not care anymore, all the protocols have been thrown out the window. Losing to Furia and EG and almost losing to a brand new mibr. We all know this team is so much better than this but sadly we probably wont see it.

The scores from split 1 are carried over so for example a team that was 4-1 in split 1 goes 1-4 this split they would be at 5-5 and still have a chance for split 2 playoffs, whereas a team that was 2-3 last split but goes 5-0 could make it.
There is a near 0% chance of the Mavs pulling off the reverse 4-0

Honestly the one reason I can get behind is the time zone as for me most matches were at 3/4 AM so not easy to watch but even then there was not this much crying for Tokyo last year.
Those teams at least made playoffs. NA best teams got grouped even while getting 2 free wins from the other group.
When it mattered most Heretics clapped them in every way, if G2 were that much better they wouldn't have lost that badly, and don't say they choked because same thing can be applied to Heretics 11-2 loss.

The Mavs had very similar game 1s against the clippers and OKC and still won those series. Boston is a much better team then both of them but I believe in Dallas.
Why are all the NA users calling shanghai a boring mickey mouse just because we had no teams in the grand finals, and all of a sudden calling G2 and 100T trash after rooting for them and saying they would dominate the entire tournament. SEN and NRG would have gotten grouped just like LEV did so just give GenG the credit they deserve and focus on split 2.

Apart from the top 4 teams from playoffs (and old SEN) they all just seem not good
Serious Question how important is stage 2 for them, they are tied for first in point with 9 so they should only need a few more wins.
But I saw that the top 3 form playoffs qualify and the 4th team is determined by points. So if they get like 2 more wins they should be good no?

Looking back the thing that made them so good was the consistency that they had and their resilience. They had some bad losses to teams like Rise and Xerxia, and would get farmed by EMEA but would always bounce back. Granted I think they are pretty overrated but its mostly hindsight. You can say they were carried by chamber meta and while that may be true this team just had things work for them.
NRG just does not have what they did and its obvious. You can just say the players fell off or FNS was the true carry or just blame Chet, but its clearly much more than that. Whatever moves they are trying to make with the loud players or with marved will probably just make them worse but we shall see.
Even if the they somehow get the full optic reunion how good can they truly be with the current state of the game?
