The fact that one of these teams is going to make playoffs is an insult to the vct and the viewers, at least they will be starting in lowers and will probably go out immediately.

Every region seems to have a massive gap between half the teams. There are 5-6 pretty decent teams, 2-3 really good teams, and 3-4 absolute bottom-feeder teams. While this is not anything new the gap between them all feels much bigger than in previous years this time around.

Leo and Meteor is not the comparison as they play different roles. It should be Meteor and Alfajer. While they both have two trophies and were MVP for an event (Alfa was Tokyo MVP no question about it) I think Meteor is better than Alfa. However I think Leo is still a much better player as he is the closest to perfect a player has ever been, even when his teams were in the mud and he was ill.

Looking back on it, wtf was that format for last year. double elim group stage, into round robin qualifier, into single elim playoffs with 4 teams. Some teams literally only needed two wins to qualify. and some only played two games. I think the whole kickoff into 8 teams master events need to go, and just have 2 normal splits and an LCQ like 2022.

When a BO5 goes to map 5, the series was always won by the team that won the final(5th) map in the series.

They won the round right after the 1v4 when G2 hit A again, after that G2 kept going B every round after not finding success on A and T1 couldn't respond. You can blame throws, you can blame the comp. Whatever the reason, they could not find an answer for 5 rounds.

So many changes were made right before split 2 from split 1 and so many of them just did not pay off, Almost like making a last second change this late wont work. Only oens that seem to have worked have been hiro and primmie and hiro wasn't even by choice.

Furia played insane but It does not make any sense. Loud have pancada back but even then It just feels like they do not care anymore, all the protocols have been thrown out the window. The scores from split 1 are carried over so for example a team that was 4-1 in split 1 goes 1-4 this split they would be at 5-5 and still have a chance for split 2 playoffs, whereas a team that was 2-3 last split but goes 5-0 could make it.

The Mavs had very similar game 1s against the clippers and OKC and still won those series. Boston is a much better team then both of them but I believe in Dallas.

Why are all the NA users calling shanghai a boring mickey mouse just because we had no teams in the grand finals, and all of a sudden calling G2 and 100T trash after rooting for them and saying they would dominate the entire tournament. SEN and NRG would have gotten grouped just like LEV did so just give GenG the credit they deserve and focus on split 2.
