Bit of banter here and there always keeps matches spicy, but the utter disrespect the FPX players showed towards XSET after that replay was disgusting, even the Twitter shit. Karma always comes around to bite you in the ass. WP to DRX man, the way they dug deep in that second half is what makes a Championship team.

Not going to Rep The Set on this one Subreezy?

Nah they all played well as a team, I think FNATIC's biggest problem is the mental game. They seem to get frustrated and stressed when they're down. Boaster in the whole XSET series just looked clueless, stressed and frustrated. In this series he was suuper happy and upbeat map 1 and the start of map 2, then DRX made a comeback and on Fracture he looked defeated.

Bitter sweet ending, So many wanting to just see DRX not choke but also wanting FNATIC to continue for Alfajer. Very sad man, happy for DRX but sad for FNATIC, that Ascent map will haunt them.

posted about 2 years ago

Oh they've come so far from their first one where that was their biggest problem, I'm hopeful too, DRX is easily the cleanest team to watch with their executes and strats.

posted about 2 years ago

Honestly I hope so! They deserve it, been to like every International LAN apart from 1 so far right? Would love to see DRX in a grand final. I can imagine the strats they have cooked up for do or die situations.

I think DRX pulls through tonight. Loud hasn't really played anyone that hard this tourney so far apart from OpTiC to which they lost to. Lev qualled but ended up dropping out in straight sets and do I really need to go into detail about Zeta? DRX pulls through for sure, Loud goes lowers and probably loses against an EMEA team.

Liquids biggest problem has always been the lack of IGL and also the lack of actual roles, they tend to just float roles around too much apart from Scream which makes sense. Their LCQ run was brilliant to watch and I was really starting to think that maybe Liquid would be poised to have a deep run at Champs. they made it out of Groups which was good but as I've stated on previous threads, They just used the same team comps and the same strats over and over, Teams had soo much tape on how these guys were going to play the Phoenix pick on Ascent and the same with their Bind comp, Honestly never put Jamppi on Sage its so fucking troll its not funny. I thought with the addition of eMiL as coach that he would be able to help cook up some cool strats and cool team comps but they just stayed the same from LCQ and Groups and teams were ready for it. I don't think dimasick was the problem, but the lack of introducing an IGL to the team REALLY makes you question what hes on the roster for, I dont think he's a bad player, but the lack of IGL is REALLY hurting them right now.

From what I've seen on twitter from some of the OCE pro's. Next year is like not looking good for us what so ever... unless i'm reading it wrong idk, so much talent in OCE man.

posted about 2 years ago

It's not working because the were literally the same team from LCQ which was fine in groups, but out of groups there was no like adaptability, They ran the same team comps with the same strats over and over and over again, Teams like OpTiC and FNATIC just knew exactly what they were going to do, Boaster said it himself in the post match interview.

I don't watch his streams so no I will not. But my research into him is enough.

Thank you

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hasan_Piker 2 seconds of research literally tells me otherwise....

posted about 2 years ago

So Hasan has no Turkish background what so ever?

posted about 2 years ago

As much as we love PRX, this event they truly looked their worse compared to other events.

posted about 2 years ago

I never said they weren't American's? im saying they have Turkish backgrounds...

posted about 2 years ago

Are you fucking drunk? they both have Turkish backgrounds....

posted about 2 years ago

Problem is, Scream was talking about how "NA plays predictable" yet Liquid ran the same team comps they did for LCQ and for Groups, there is soo much tape on how they're playing on map picks that teams are literally just countering them. No adaption from Liquid, no hail mary throw kitchen sink at it, just the same shit rinsed and repeated. We saw it lastnight on Ascent with OpTiC and tonight on both Bind and Haven. After what happened lastnight on Bind you would think Liquid would either ban Bind or look to bring out a new comp if the map is picked, Nope, Jampi on Sage, no proper sentinel. Liquid deserved to lose.

They're both Turkish and Hasan and Tarik are doing a episode for a podcast together so they just hanging out im assuming, no harm no foul.

posted about 2 years ago

Ehh I'm not sure about that, if ur going off the last game they played, 100T made them look terrible, still do-able for them, im not sure how deep they would go though.

posted about 2 years ago

He's still a good IGL, maybe not today but he's still insanely backed by Mini. I think XSET just got into his head today and he allowed scoreboard pressure to get the better of him. He looked insanely stressed on Pearl and Fracture.

Hard task against FPX but i'll be cheering for LEV.

posted about 2 years ago

I think alot of that was because people likend them to The Guard and how their performace was and how they were after. Props to XSET though man they really used that off time from Copenhagen to adjust how they were playing their game, good shit.

posted about 2 years ago

Honestly i'm with you. I'll admit I had XSET dropping out in straight sets in groups but they're really starting to grow on me as a team. Alot of respect for these guys, FPX isn't an easy team to beat and they did a damn good job doing it. Probably the biggest dark horse for this event i'd say.

posted about 2 years ago

Honestly they've bounced back pretty quickly from a terrible Copenhagen performance so props to them.

posted about 2 years ago

Oh yeah true I just realised that, Australia??

posted about 2 years ago

Honestly. I'd love to see it, they've tried so hard for so long to get an International LAN trophy. Hopefully we dont see them just bottom out again. COPIUM!!

posted about 2 years ago

Hahahah he looked stressed as fuck and suuuuper frustrated. You could see him looking angry on Pearl.

posted about 2 years ago

Agree, I'd love to see a LAN in NA but I don't think we will see one for awhile. Maybe Japan?

posted about 2 years ago

Boaster is a suuper emotional player you can tell. He looked EXTREMELY stressed today, feelsbad man, hes a nice guy but he had no idea how to counter XSET today.

posted about 2 years ago

This....This did NOT age well my dude...

posted about 2 years ago

I think the viewers at home would just like it if the crowd cheered for the game not just 1 region but I understand the love towards FNATIC when they have Alfajer but booing when a team wins is suuper cringe, just my opinion though!

posted about 2 years ago

I'll agree to that, I think FPX is probably the only team who doesnt look as bad as what Liquid and FNATIC do currently. Boaster looked HELLA stressed today...

posted about 2 years ago

This was the same thing that happened to FNATIC when they played 100T for the first time. It's like they struggle playing new teams but rematch they play better? Atleast they did against 100T. They had some really good rounds on Fracture but i noticed once XSET reached 10 they sort of struggled and only won rounds where XSET made huge mistakes.

posted about 2 years ago

Yeah I agree, I saw them trying to go for Seize/Molly lineups and they were so far off it was not funny.

I think Asuna hit the nail on the head when he spoke about how they beat FaZe on Ascent when Babybay played Pheonix, You become suuper 1 diamensional and I think people start to read what you're trying to do. I would have love to have seen Liquid try a different comp on Ascent and throw a real curve ball towards OpTiC, but they played completely into their hands with picking the comp and OpTiC were so ready for it.

posted about 2 years ago

Honestly what he said last Masters was cringe and I think he realised that REAL quick, I guess I read what you said wrong, my apologies.

posted about 2 years ago

I don't think anyone from NA apart from maybe die hard XSET fans EVER thought BCJ was the best initiator in the world OR even at an event...

posted about 2 years ago

Criticise his gameplay dont criticise his condition, thats just fucking cringe and low, I get what you're saying, but that literally does not give someone the right to make fun of something he has no control over.

posted about 2 years ago

His Raze on Haven is insane, I love watching him play haven.

posted about 2 years ago

Apart from there being that story Champs done for BCJ where he talks about his condition. There has been many many threads about him in the past so I think you using the "I didn't know" card is just bullshit, but whatever.

posted about 2 years ago

Very true, but EU teams look terrible right now. Honestly I want to see FNATIC win but this map so far is not looking good for them. Hopefully a half reset plays in their favour.

posted about 2 years ago

There is no way 3 EU teams qual and then ALL 3 drop to lowers... What happened to EU?

posted about 2 years ago

its human evoloution, its in our DNA to learn at least a little after a mistake
but I saw even Optic fans saying that Fnatic would beat XSET, an embarrassment to NA
XSET probably owns u too so ur scared I Understand u shitters
XSET IS WINNING THIS TOURNAMENT STFUUUU DOUBTERS

posted about 2 years ago

Honestly the crowd at Copenhagen was better, this shit is getting cringe, I get at the walk outs they're going to cheer for Alfajer but cmon man, cheer for the game...

I swear I heard some boo's for Sykko???

OpTiC tried a new comp on Breeze to see if it would give them a leg up but i honestly think if they played their normal comp they would have actually beaten Liquid. Liquid were'nt doing anything AMAZING on Breeze, OpTiC were just getting caught out doing the dumbest shit because they didn't understand FULLY how to play that team comp. Bind from Liquid was troll too, why even float that map against OpTiC? Then Ascent was just cringe. Honestly that first half was the saddest half I think ive ever watched Liquid play. Good to see them dig deep on the second half and string a couple rounds but OpTiC's composure is just too good. I don't think they're looking "shaky" at all, even with that comeback on Ascent, FNS stayed calm and collected and rectified what they were doing wrong, Liquid had no answers. Also the Phoenix pick is getting soo readable now, Teams are starting to adapt on what they're doing with Screams ult.
