Nah I see why he's saying it. FNS has stated he hates the way some NA teams play and looks to other regions. Honestly as a 100T fan I'd still like to see FNATIC beat XSET, how can you hate Boaster and Derke?

Sometimes it's best to just NOT open VLR if you're that tilted...

posted about 2 years ago

Yeah I agree, its all hindsight now as spectators but clearly in the moment Scream assumed that was the best play so you cant hate him for it. You're right though Victor played it insanely well and read exactly how Scream was going to play it so props to him.

Strongest teams I think that will run very deep in Champs are FPX, DRX and OpTiC. These guys have the LAN experience and so far have shown us when they're firing together that they can be the best teams.

posted about 2 years ago

Look to be fair, the digging deep for Liquid looked good. They didn't just give up after being down 2-11, you can tell Liquid is influenced by the crowd alot, they thrive of it which is awesome to see.

Nah I think the way he is, is fine. He's humble, there to do a job type beat, loves his teammates and just wants to perform for the fans. Gotta love someone with that type of personality. Too many pro's think they need to be this like "villian" and trash talk. Having pro's that are just wholesome brings a fresher look.

No I think the ult was troll when you have no idea where he is playing. HUUGE risk to pop it. Victor knew he was going to use it so he played it so perfectly. Scream literally threw the round popping the ult in the first place.

Honestly I had them tipped in this. After the way FPX played against XSET I thought if they came out playing like that KRU win punish hard but it just seemed like everyone on KRU just had such an off day. Hopefully next year is kind to them franchising wise and we see that roster back in action.

posted about 2 years ago

KRU is still an insanely talented team I think today was a pretty dissapointing day for them. You could tell Icebox was their win condition and not being able to win that really played on their minds. GG to FPX though, they honestly looked like one of the cleanest teams here in Champs so far.

posted about 2 years ago

I think the map veto's for this series didnt really favour KRU. Win condition for them really was closing out Icebox, once they lost that it was kinda a GG in my eye's. Team looked super off today, Keznit didn't have the best series either. Sucks because I actually though KRU could push FPX alot harder and possibly win.

posted about 2 years ago

Nah look to be fair, This is what I was worried about. I was all for the hype but fuck me the group they were in DID NOT favour them at ALL. GG's to them though, they played well and did the best they could. Liquid looked very composed in those final rounds.

100% Agree, I watched most of FNATIC's qualifying games into Masters Copenhagen and I seriously thought they were actually going to win it all. The way Derke, Alfajer and Enzo were playing was really good. I just think once it came LAN time they looked a little off, Mystic wasn't hitting nearly as well as he could have and I really think they missed an opportunity. I'm keen to watch the 100T v FNATIC game I think it'll be a banger.

To the point of DRX, I just worry that if they lose their opening game to FURIA (I doubt it'll happen) the way DRX plays in lower brackets at International LAN is not great. I love DRX as a team and would love to see them finally win an International LAN I just think they really struggle to dig deep when their backs are against the wall.

posted about 2 years ago

I get that, but I feel like there is still ALOT of us that are just being supporters and not going around saying dumb shit(like SOME of the Sentinels fans).

posted about 2 years ago

I feel this, I dont expect us to win it all, I just wanna see Asuna on LAN again and Bang and Derrek! I'm happy to see the org back in International play. For someone who's supported this org from the beginning we had some dark times this year and we are constantly made fun of, even in NA. Good to see them back and hopefully put up a decent run.

posted about 2 years ago

If you wanna see egotistical fans just look to some of the users with Sentinels flair's, NOT SAYING THEY ALL HAVE AN EGO! Just saying, there are quite a few that literally think that roster is gods gift...

posted about 2 years ago

Underrated for sure. Although they haven't had any International LAN experience (that I'm aware of) so I understand why people aren't rating them that high, Fundamentally they're a pretty good team, I dont see them going SUPER deep like Finals but anything is possible!

posted about 2 years ago

Very true, I was just talking about as rounded player, Asuna being flex this year has proven in my book that hes a better player. Although I will say, I think TenZ's full potential hasn't been unlocked, I'd love to see him on a team with a REALLY good coaching staff that will help him with his agent pool. Right now his agent pool is literally just Chamber, Jett, Yoru, and I feel as if we saw Sentinels play Bind during LCQ they still would have had him on Chamber. His Raze needs work but I think its suuper do-able.

posted about 2 years ago

I was always telling my friends this and they would ALWAYS shoot back with "piss off, TenZ beats Asuna anyday" bro Asuna has been pretty consistent for a LONG time. TenZ tends to have his more in patches in my opinion.

Wait....You're saying the Mixwell Neon pick isn't great? LOL

posted about 2 years ago

Oh 100%! hes been insane in the clutch, But I was more replying to those mentioned by Vct_fan

posted about 2 years ago

If XSET play anything like they did during Masters Copenhagen then I really dont see them winning a series. For someone who's watched alot of NA Valorant too. I think what we saw at Copenhagen was XSET's ceiling. Their win-condition relies far too much on Zekken and Cryo to pop off but the supporting players can't keep up. BCJ didn't look great, neither did Ayrin or Dephh.

posted about 2 years ago

After watching some of the Liquid LCQ games. Towards more the Grand Final side I think we started to see the FULL potential of Dimasick, dude is actually pretty insane in the clutch man. I wouldnt be surprised if we see him chart topping in the clutch stats during Champs.

posted about 2 years ago

I like them, but then again I am a platchat listener so maybe I'm biased. Although some of the takes Sideshow has are questionable, but I do actually like them on the cast.

posted about 2 years ago

Nah I like this list, apart from not adding Derke, zmjjk is good but he hasnt proven himself on LAN yet so I'd rather bring in Derke. All these players are the type of players to make a play and lift their team up with them, except for maybe Cryo, he's good but his supporting players can't lift with him apart from Zekken.

posted about 2 years ago

He played pretty well during Masters Copenhagen, but that was only 1 event. His past event's have not looked good.

posted about 2 years ago

I can see teams like DRX, OpTiC, LOUD and PRX picking it, im not sure about the rest but im super keen to see how DRX plays it.

posted about 2 years ago

I think they're an underdog for sure. Wouldnt surprise me if they made it out of groups. Watching their play-off run was pretty good but their LCQ run was even stronger. I think alot of teams will underrate them at Champs.

posted about 2 years ago

Meh I would'nt worry about Twitter-tards, they just tend to pick arguments over anything. Balla is great at what he does I dont care what anyone says. I like watching his livestreams when he VOD reviews. He provides really good analysis on what teams are doing play by play.

posted about 2 years ago

Nah they've improved their mid-rounding alot since their first international LAN and the last Masters at Copenhagen proved that. They simply struggle with the mental game of being in the lower bracket, they forget simple fundamentals and stuff. It's almost as if they give up which I dont agree with but their last game as Masters was against FPX in the lower bracket and that whole series was just sad to watch as a fan of DRX.

posted about 2 years ago

Yeah but the age old "OPTIC GETS THE EASIEST DRAW EVER THIS IS SO UNFAIR" always seems to come out. If FPX faces XSET I see that as a 2-0 FPX's way, I dont think we will see anything different from the XSET we saw at Masters unfortunetly.

posted about 2 years ago

Very true, interesting match up regardless, hey I love DRX and i really hope they can actually win an International LAN, I just hate seeing them drop off. Alot of the strats and team comps teams run are directly ripped from DRX themselfs.

posted about 2 years ago

Something tells me FURIA wins their opening match against DRX. DRX falls to lowers and does'nt qual and 100T and FNATIC qual.

posted about 2 years ago

I actually rate the group draw. Seems pretty balanced. I know all the EMEA fans are annoyed that OpTiC dont face any EMEA teams in groups but over-all I think Riot has done a decent job with the groups here.

posted about 2 years ago

Have you forgotton every time they drop to lower bracket they just fall off? If DRX lose their opening match to FURIA...They will not make it out of groups.

posted about 2 years ago

Yeah nah I do not see them losing to Boom.... on paper It should be 2-0 OpTiC but we will have to see.

posted about 2 years ago

If DRX lose their opening match and drop to lowers it's GG. Everyone knows DRX in lower bracket at International LAN is not good.

posted about 2 years ago

Actually I didn't mind Kremer and Pavlos now I think about it. Again I think what it comes down to is exposure and time. They are good casters in their own right but alot of these casters named are established. Pretty sure thats all it really comes down to.

posted about 2 years ago

Yeah kinda, although he is also known as a huge EMEA simp and he's from NA so... I dunno, I don't mind him, his casting is pretty good in my eye's.

posted about 2 years ago

I wasn't SUUPER impressed by tacolilla's Chamber during Masters. I felt like Derke's Chamber was much more impactful.

posted about 2 years ago

If you're soley talking about Conky & Komodo then I'd agree, but the rest of them kinda suck IMO

Conky and Komodo have only JUST reached APAC casting and stuff though, so maybe with more time and exposure we could see them at Masters or Champs.

posted about 2 years ago

I like them individually but I'm not fully sold on them together. Balla's analysis is really good though I enjoy it.

posted about 2 years ago

Wait why though? After the Tier2 annoucement you'd think teams would be keen to stay? Especially BBG? huh?

posted about 2 years ago

Actually a sad day in OCE bro, I didn't think, of ALL teams in OCE to leave or even go under it would be ORDER. Sucks but hopefully IF the company gets brought things can go back to the way they are. All we have is hope.

posted about 2 years ago

I don't see them getting grouped unless they fall into a "group of death" fundamentally they're a great team and with Asuna's LAN experience and the 100T coaching staff, I see them making it out, but who knows, anything is possible.

posted about 2 years ago

To a degree yes, but there is still alot of over-heating from zmjjkk. If they can fine tune that into him still multi-fragging, I see them going suuper deep. Awesome team to watch.

posted about 2 years ago

I can actually see a top 4 finish for them. They're playing some insanely good valorant right now. I just hope they can tune the over-extending come Champs because theyre a deadly team if they get that on lock!

posted about 2 years ago

I don't know man, Shao was pretty cold during Masters Copenhagen, dudes aim is nuts! And not to mention how good of a player he is. Derrek will be good to watch on LAN for sure!

posted about 2 years ago

I'm all for the EDG support but lets be real, these guys are going to be HARD looked at. I don't think they'll bomb out, I just don't see them winning it.

posted about 2 years ago

If they're NA orgs then it HAS to be NYFU in DarkZero in my opinion. Never made sense to me when I was seeing these NA orgs just leave Valorant without any Tier2 news...

posted about 2 years ago

Yeah but the fans won't forget about those orgs who dropped the roster, kinda L by them tbh, I always found it funny when we saw the great dropping of NA orgs without finding out anything about the Tier2 scene...
