maybe Riot is giving SEN special treatment since they bring a lot of viewership whenever they make a roster change... or they got him to sign a contract before the roster lock and only announced him being a sub later on

I havent been following VCJ since the last split and I was surprised seeing how a new team can make a deep run and is in contention to make it to Ascension… idk if its the old teams remaining stagnant or new competition getting better… maybe both
I think DRX and Fnatic will be unbeatable till their league finishes...
As for LOUD americas has pretty tight competition so they have highest chance of dropping a series out of the other two
DRX has really good players but what sets them apart from other Pacific teams is their discipline, teamwork and high level of preparation.
They are also a set play heavy team. Watch any VODs of DRX executing into a site and you'll see layers of utility being thrown and how each player's position allows them to trade off each other.
I'd say they are at most top 20 out of the 33 teams... 30 teams from the franchise leagues and the other 3 are Chinese teams (FPX, ASE and EDG included)
both.
Marved has amazing timings and lurks and kaplan has such a good gameplan on Pearl
ASE 3-1 EDG is crazyyy… I’d love to see if they can push EDG though
How do you have 2 out of the top 3 best controllers in 2022 and have none of them playing in that role…
This is a team that is creating role issues out of nothing…
Dambi is insane... I can 100% see this guy make franchising in a few years maybe even next year if he proves himself against DK/SLT
hs% is a useless stat. It doesnt indicate how good a player is + TenZ is OPing.. it takes like 2 seconds of thinking to understand why its so low lmao
this is a team that pushed LOUD into an OT and almost took a map off them…. few teams in franchising can do that
even the DRX boys have said that Gen.G is looking really good… they may make a lot of mistakes right now but those will eventually get ironed out as they gain more experience with their new roster
I’d argue ASE is like the third best right now since they beat FPX but we’ll see as the tournament keeps going I guess
do you guys think people have expectations for GenG to perform in the Pacific League?
a lot of people have been praising them since they last played against LOUD so im wondering if people still hold that opinion for the upcoming season
any teams to look out for (aside from FPX and EDG) in FGC Act 1?
bruh Riot has been seeding Zeta against really good teams for like the past two international tournaments now... they lost to LOUD in champs group stage and they lost to Leviatan in LOCK IN...
although its a round robin tournament its still kinda messed up they are facing DRX as their first match
I agree with pancada... DRX seems to always stick to their prep that most of the time they dont adapt when the other teams are heavy counter stratting them
EMEA has a lot of talent its just that the orgs didnt pick up good teams and stuck with their tier 2 teams from last year... disappointing but eventually they will have to be forced to pick up good players since all the regions are getting stronger
the core has a lot of LAN experience and they play international teams all the time so this game should be an experience diff
China will have their own region as well so… as long as the top Chinese teams have international experience that will also spread into the whole region
i may not be from EU but the EMEA teams that played in the Alpha bracket are like the bottom of the barrel teams… you cant expect EMEA to show their best when you are showing their worst versus the best of Americas and Pacific like NRG and DRX
