Riot is considering China as their own region like Pacific, EMEA and Americas so by default they have 3 slots + they want them to have more international experience… why do u think Riot kept inviting CN teams for the past two international tournys

currently there are teams with two imports like Weibo and RNG… and teams like DRG where theres no player thats representing China..

it seems like theres no clear import rules like the franchised leagues

ye Pacific a disappointment this Masters… I would’ve loved to see DRX make a deep run again but there was too many last minute changes and confusion in that team… and unfortunate for PRX playing without something

EDG is already in the CN league and its easier to qualify to international events there than through Pacific so I doubt they’ll move

only the EDG games have been banger matches… the rest are just one sided

so far there is no team that has won two international tournaments… how long will we see a dynasty in this game or is the competition just too close to have one dominant team?

the player are so confident that even if they lose I feel like it wouldnt affect them at all… having the confidence + a deep playbook is just unstoppable

they play such clean Valorant… theres honestly no team right now (maybe Fnatic) that plays like them…

theres so many problems in this team… if only they kept their original 5 and did what they did before which is creative utility usage and good fundamentals then they would eventually be a top team but instead termi puts up a rookie that is too inconsistent and now they have to adapt depending if he’s up to form or not

its cause DRX as a team is run by the coaching staff…. all the strategies and decisions is decided by the coaches… stax even said once in a interview that he doesnt agree with how the roster is being ran but its up to coaches

DRX had a really bad season… hope they bounce back in Champs but if they keep doing this 6 man roster and splitting scrim and prep for Zest and Foxy9 then they aint even getting close to touching a trophy

pure disappointment… one of the most creative team in VCT has fallen flat and became the most predictable

coaching staff ruined this team..
their gameplan is so predictable (post plant lineups) + messed with the roster

Foxy9 is supposedly their star player but he’s too inconsistent and too inexperienced… kinda unfortunate because he had an amazing debut but he rarely replicates that kind of performance in big games

I want another Chinese team to go toe to toe with EDG because it will show that the CN slots for Champs are deserved

I dont know why they wont just trust the players to win gunfights in the site instead of forcing them to always play lineups from across the map

do you guys think their post plant lineups is what is losing them rounds? DRX players arent bad mechanically but them relying on lineups every time just seems a bit excessive

the inexperience from the new players is really showing… its unfortunate but they’ll bounce back

EDG is making it easier for Riot to market Valorant in China… not only do you have a well known org representing Chinese Valorant but they are winning against the best of the best in the world

mad probs to Haodong for stepping as the igl and bringing depth to the team… the fact that they can incorporate both EMEA and Pacific way of playing into their play style is insane

EDG isnt just fast tho… Haodong sometimes calls like some EMEA teams on how slow they take on rounds.. its a disservice to their success to say that they’re a version of PRX

I would say he’s definitely top 3… his OP is also the best in the world and his Jett knives has consistently helped them get early picks and snowball a round… its insane how much impact his Jett is

EDG’s run is also gonna inspire a lot of talent from China… they are carrying Chinese Valorant on their back
