too early to say for EDG… I do hope they face off in playoffs if EDG does qualify
BLG looks promising currently… hope they have international experience by qualifying to Champs
oh 100%… mans whole family is set for life if he keeps up this kind of performance
EDG finishing top 8 is already impressive... top 4 would be crazyyy
hope they make a cinderella run like Zeta did tho
this time I hope EDG wins and truly show that China has what it takes to get out of groups… I mean it would be disappointing to see KangKang and Smoggy play only 3 series with how good they are playing right now
I doubt EDG would give up KangKang that easily… China needs superstars like him and the orgs there have the money to get any players they want… If KangKang moves to another region it would be a big blow to the Chinese scene imo
Im so happy that EDG finally got their win.. China bout to take over Valorant this is just the start
this series shows to Riot and everyone that China as a region can compete in the international stage… more importantly it will motivate other Chinese teams to be better
KangKang has been consistently good since East Asia LCQ last year… he deserves a win in an international stage thats why everyone is hyping him up
definitely up there if not the best ye…
EDG a genuinely good team… its crazy how much they’ve improved especially with that much talent from KangKang
get MaKo out of the DRX coach’s grasp
arent MaKo and Sylvan both controller players? even if Sylvan is initiator GodDead is much better
DRX looks so weak… I’d be surprised if they get out of groups
Foxy9 provides little strategic value… he just entries and OPs unlike Zest who midrounds and is consistent in getting impactful frags… having Zest also allows them to run their comfortable comps
he enties. gets flashed. dies.. thats basically how Foxy9 plays
he needs to learn on how to enter like other top duelists cause he’s just getting shut down immediately
Foxy9’s inexperience is dragging the team down… his entry is so one dimensional and always gets picked off first.. at this point it might as well just be a 5v4
the coaches are trying so hard to integrate Foxy9 but he’s just too inconsistent… adding him to the roster made the team shaky
the thing is that he doesnt always peek the same angle and repositions a lot… a true OP masterclass coming from him
an actual Chinese superstar… this man is insane with the OP
China is a big region in eSports which means more money… catering a league specifically for Chinese teams is a good investment for Riot.. i mean just look at the success of LPL in League
Foxy9 is so inconsistent.. unlike other rookies like Demon1, something, caunzin he isnt just at the same level of impact most of the time
he still has room to grow though
I hope he wins an international tournament this year.. mans been so consistent for so long and yet still no trophy
MaKo is literally an uncrowned king… the fact that he doesnt have any international title is criminal
ye stax said in a recent interview that he has his opinions on how they should run the roster but its not up to him… the DRX coaches are lowkey over cooking
everyone is biased anyways... just appreciate the talent
I havent watched a lot of tier 2 because theres too much Valorant right now so I wanna know which teams to look out for in all of the regions
PRX beat DRX
Team Liquid beat Fnatic
LOUD is next on the chopping block
are you seriously questioning if a Grand Final matters? LMAO this is the worst take I’ve seen yet
I agree its more of an even game… I said LOUD just because they came 1st in group stages just like Fnatic and DRX who also reached grand finals
they all went 1st place in group stages for their own respective leagues and were also top 3 in LOCK//IN… thats why I said big three
will the big three all fall in their grand finals? first DRX
Liquid is a map away from winning against Fnatic
will NRG cook LOUD?
maybe its too early to tell
now that we’re in franchising special treatments towards any team gives a bad precedence for the whole scene… whats the point of Zeta playing in the Pacific League if they qualify to Masters Tokyo and that goes the same to NA teams… why would they play in their league if they could just be invited into Champions LA
it diminishes the whole competitive integrity of the esports and causes a lot of drama
DRX has been looking very vulnerable lately... the match tomorrow will decide it
he only started igling in Champs last year before then Zest was igl… he still needs more experience before they can even touch a trophy
stax igling is genuinely their big problem right now… he needs to improve fast if they want to win a trophy
the deep running problem is their midrounding..
the players are amazing, the playbook and strats are deep but the lack of adaptation from the stax and the team is what is losing them games
ye this has been a problem since Champs last year….
will DRX not ban Lotus and actually play it... they've been cooking for far too long...
as far as I know they are the only team in the league that has not shown their Lotus.. correct me if Im wrong
definitely pansy and hypoc
i would also include bren and sideshow
just too many good british casters really
I both hate and like that they are forcing stax to grow as an igl… it sucks to see them lose so much more than other top teams but if it makes them better as a team in the long run then I guess thats a good trade off
thanks. I was wondering why I havent seen KONE in this FGC Act... its nice that the players are finding success in other teams
who is Bilibili Gaming and why are they winning against FPX and ASE
we also havent seen their Lotus… probs gonna keep banning it until Masters
termi is forcing stax to have better mid rounding by not calling timeouts until the last moments… its a tradeoff that they would risk I guess
