Split 3 isn't relevant to ascension, which is what all these players/teams really care about.
The groups will be randomly drawn with each being composed of a #1, #2, #3 and #4 from each of the different regions. It's not totally random. You can avoid the theoretical best teams from other regions if you get a better seed or win your region.
Top 4 is champs and 1 year renewal. If they make top 8, then they go to ascension tournament. Bottom 4 is auto relegation.
Definitely not atm, not even close too. Hopefully they can make a resurgence for champs.
Not worried. Seeds do matter but if they can't qualify over another region's #1/#2 seeds, then they probably weren't gonna do real damage in the playoffs anyway.

I just don't buy it. They had a good amount of time off since they didn't make Shanghai. If they're legitimately burned out again after a few weeks back in full swing, after other teams have played all season while still performing well, then the players just shouldn't be playing this game professionally.
100T would qualify over G2 if they remain tied at 11 points. They have the season long H2H over G2.

Talon have played Secret 4 times this season in Bo3 matches. Talon has won 3 out of 4 of those Bo3 matches. Talon therefore has the H2H over secret. Simple.
Not that complicated. Talon and secret both have 7 points now. Even if they lose out, Talon have a 3-1 match head to head over the course of the season over Secret.

Demon1 lost his first match starting for EG and had a middling performance. And honestly, he wasn't that insane for a while. Like I said, even if he did poorly, one match wouldn't tell us anything. But it seems like that isn't the case.
edit: also im not sure what you mean by do it in one game, he doesn't need to massively improve the team in the first place. Even without him, Talon vs TS should be a close affair.
Nonsense. Even if they lose and primmie doesn't do well, we won't know if it's over-hype until next year when he's playing regularly. It's just one series.

No they don't. If they beat G2, they get 1 championship point for the win and they also secure the second place bye which gets them another. That takes them to 14 points which no other team can catch up to which secures champions qualification.
Definitely not in the Talon Team Secret match.
The first part. The second portion, being more culturally acceptable, might be true but not sure about that. It definitely is at least partially true for Asian Americans of Korean descent.
