He's basically the equivalent of LoL Uzi in Valorant now with that win.
I know that EDG is getting all their flowers now rightfully so, but looking back at the perpetual second place China team FPX I can't help but feel sympathy for them given their harsh matchups early on or unfortunate close losses they had all year round:
Event | Opponent | Map Scoreline | Map Rounds
VCT 24 CN Kickoff (GF): | EDG (Winner) | 1 - 3 | Breeze: (12-14), Split: (6-13), Icebox: (13-8), Ascent: (14-16)
(Skipping Masters Madrid because they did get farmed there)
VCT 24 CN Stage 1 (GF): | EDG (Winner) | 1 - 3 | Lotus: (13-6), Bind: (9-13), Icebox: (12-14), Breeze: (8-13)
VCT 24 Masters Shanghai (Swiss R2): | Gen G (Winner) | 1 - 2 | Lotus: (16-14), Sunset: (7 - 13), Ascent: (11 - 13)
VCT 24 Masters Shanghai (Swiss R3): | Team Heretics (Runner-Up) | 1 - 2 | Sunset: (4 - 13), Lotus: (13 - 6), Icebox: (15 - 17)
VCT 24 CN Stage 2 (GF): | EDG (Winner) | 2 - 3 | Sunset: (9 - 13), Abyss: (13 - 8), Haven: (7 - 13), Icebox: (13 - 9), Bind: (8 - 13)
VCT 24 Champions Tour (Group Stage): | Team Heretics (Runner-Up) | 1 - 2 | Abyss: (12 - 14), Bind: (13 - 9), Lotus: (13 - 15)
Just have to wonder would things have been different if FPX managed to win a single Grand Finals series vs EDG in stage 1 or 2 and thus secured different seeding and matchups in internationals and not face the grand finalists early on cough group of death cough, or how much the trajectory of the tournament would've changed if FPX managed to win even one of the series against Gen. G or Heretics.
EDG org owner about to buy them all homes (he bought homes for EDG 2021 LoL Worlds roster).
No one knows yet, they haven't played it ever. Maybe we'll see it today.
Tbf that looks like a standard blueprint for any popular sports team, you see this quite often with T1 from LoL for an example.
Last one is...interesting considering who started this post.
unfortunately one of them gets eliminated in lowers at minimum, since they're facing each other next.
Brazil is crazy competitive as well, I would move them up at least to contenders, can't count out the Loud 2022 roster talents that's spread out in Americas atm.
They unfortunately ran into Sentinels that made a return to form.
ENGH coached Team Gambit to their masters win at Berlin 2021
Here's the video that I'm referring to: https://x.com/karminecorpeng/status/1806738330559684751?s=46&t=ZCmQDcUIwfpxqsQckviwJQ
Is Engh out of Karmine? Last I remembered was that fakeout video that said he was signed til 2027.
Its to deny the other team ult orbs from killing your team.
EDIT: Nvm you already addressed it on your initial post
They didn't win champs, but yes their stock has risen sky-high from being the first group of players from APAC to win an international title, they can command the highest salaries in the region after this.
I'm confused, are you saying that Sen shouldn't be here or not?
Dude saying this while sporting an EG flair; who's side are you on???
It's funny given the number of PR fumbles on the LoL side of the org. If DRX was still able to have fans after all that, they'll still manage to have fans after this scandal.
What does the bolded text mean?
Man don’t remind me of Termi throwing Stax to the curb :(
LEV is fine imo, they won all their regular season games in split 2 so far.
They’re the 1/2 seeds, which guarantees them a bye round 1 and all teams that make it to round 2 would be 4th place at minimum. if one of them loses as 4th place, the other team would at minimum place in 1-3rd place for VCT China, and thus secure their spot as the 1-3rd seed. The team that bombs out would go to worlds as the 4th seed due to having the most champions points of the remaining teams that didn’t place into the top 3 (no one else can catch up to them even with the extra point from winning round 1 of playoffs).
Curry is chilling as the 6th man for Sen, at least he’s getting a decent bag and attention for being part of the org.
Is there a higher res version of this image?
If you told me Loud and NRG wouldn't even make playoffs in Americas after last year Champs, I would've laughed. Now I'm just depressed...
After the dms leak of their head coach seemingly not caring too much, I can see why Loud fans are beyond angry.
I'm a Sen fan, but why can't we just be normal for once and not punch down when we are up? This is why people think Sen fans are trash.
As a person, not sure, as a player FNS lambasts him as one of the worst pro players ever.
Everyone doesn't think they matter in the grand scheme of things (LEV already secured the top seed, MIBR vs FURIA doesn't change the fact that both are eliminated from playoff contention). Basically the only fanbases that truly care would be South America and if you're just a fan of those teams or LEV (everyone expects them to curbstomp FURIA).
EDIT: Meanwhile the 100T vs LOUD game does matter since both are not eliminated yet, and same with Loud vs LEV (assuming that Loud Beats 100T to make it to 4-5).
Think a lot of us NA fans would nut if that happens.
Just be happy that vlr.gg isn't clowning on SEN for champs qualification copium (since everyone expects them to qual at the very least through points in the worst case), whereas NRG and 100T is getting the full heat and attention of the cope and flame atm.
Bro why you mad? Everyone is looking at Sen as a legit contender for Champions, not to mention the success that Sen had earlier this year. Meanwhile NRG collapsed after making a superteam on paper and are only now starting to pick up momentum after getting FNS and S0M to bail them out. If NRG makes it they have earned their way into playoffs, given that they need to win vs c9 and supposedly play a tiebreaker vs other 5 win teams. Even then they would be placed in a single elimination game in the first round of playoffs and will need to win that before they can have some breathing room to afford 1 more loss on road to making Champs.
Current franchise players or anyone that has been on a franchise team?
Furia could've 2-0 Loud
Now you know how LoL T1 fans feel.
The post you're replying to is being sarcastic, FNS is known to have really poor fragging capabilities relative to his team (aka nothing changes with putting FNS in terms of firepower).
