someone save this man. the scoreboards aren't doing him justice, he's entrying and creating space for his team every round just for his teammates to whiff everything and die
this guy is actually good but he's on a sinking ship
he deserves better and i dont want people thinking he's a bad player because his team is composed of him + 4 immortals
because another region got third at the first international lan and took a map off second place
GET HIM OUTTA CR MAN THIS HURTS TO WATCH
meh its expected, better to just enjoy the games and not take anyone here seriously
eh i think all of VS were underperforming including buzz. but you're right about cNed being good at saving his dash, its the best ability in the game and lots of players blow it hella fast
actually pretty good player. thought he was just farming a bad region but his aim is sharp and reactions are hella fast so far
although tbh there is a superman aspect where he literally does EVERYTHING for his team so obviously he gets way more spotlight on him
buzz didn't even smoke his dash onto c-site, me thinks they aren't trying
they didn’t, shahzam just said they put up a decent fight. also zellsis said v1 shit on nuturn in scrims lmao
is vivo keyd going to terminate his contract immediately? i don't know how stringent they are on ethics
what a shitty timing for his teammates but this should have been known long ago
edit: i can only see two outcomes
1) they dont do shit and eventually suffer repercussions from riot for inaction
2) they play it out with their coach
i wish cloud9 were at berlin, i can only imagine what would happen if leaf shit on a brazilian team again
literally enough salt to power a village
I’m not really interested in this VS game because the two teams have scrimmed each other for a long time. Pretty sure they’re just going to play their usual game and not show anything unique or specifically prepared for Berlin until they play an NA/EMEA team
the only question mark is whether gambit will choke hardcore, they have double pressure of official matches + first time at lan
in mixwells vlog redgar seemed to lack confidence but they would have to REALLY shit the bed to lose to CR
guess I expected too much jeez
I mean as long as there’s a star player you still have a chance of winning. I can see heat dropping 30 kills and taking a map but winning the series would be really difficult. For HL they didn’t even have that as an option
I dunno, the top three EU teams can also be called randoms of other games too and they seem to be doing well
i don't know how much valorant he's played but he's a goat support player. one of the most selfless players in NA (hard to come by), was part of the team that won NA's first major title.
so many cs pros consider him the best teammate they've ever had because of how effective he was in the support role
as a VS fan i think acend will win as well, but i think it'll be closer than people expect. could totally be wrong of course
i think people don't really understand the gap there is between VS and F4Q, the team is basically superior in every role (except controller) + they have a 6th man who is better than every f4q player
i think expectations are just too high. brazil has potential to be a top region, we see it in csgo and r6. but assuming they would from the START was naive.
in time they will reach that point, just need to learn and improve. i think a bootcamp in NA/EU (i know sharks did but still) would help a lot
logically i have no faith in CR against gambit, but when i watch them they have so much individual skill that a part of my heart wants to believe : /
realistically they have like a 10% chance of upsetting tbh, if that
i dunno man, you seem very angry. go kick a ball around or something, i think it would do you some good :P
edit: yikes he double commented, i really got into his head uh oh
weird response mate, why would you have to care about what i think for me to respond. its a discussion board, not a get your consent to engage in conversation board
and i do think zunba is the best astra in the world. he might not be the best astra PLAYER, but he is the best astra. pretty big difference
honestly you just sound really insecure, the way you're attacking people for no reason when they're just tryna talk
hope f4q do better next time around!
ps. i didn't switch around and start belittling them. this is me putting fivek at the bottom of the list 3 days before the event :D https://www.vlr.gg/36159/korea-fans-come-here/#17
link some examples, i'd love to see them. because to me its like saying "bonkar = EU tenz"
wat. everyone that followed the korean scene had fivek listed as the worst korean player entering berlin. literally nobody who actually watched kr games would ever make that comparison
they started hardcore grinding a few weeks before berlin, but yeah. their story and rise from content creators to world stage competitors is unreal, never seen anything like it
is the best astra in the world. literally nobody is using her kit like him
i'm getting severe nuturn flashbacks, everyone went rabid when they dropped the first map to sharks
f4q not even paid to play the game LMAO they're literally here for the content and still winning maps
yeah he played insane on bind, probably one of his best performances ever! the skye pick especially was a massive boost, he got so much utility usage that would be literally impossible on reyna
crazy how taking your worst player off reyna improves your chances a lot
yeah, regardless of performance i think it's a really cool story. a team of friends started competing in open qualifiers to entertain their streams, making it all the way to the world stage. like when has this ever happened before?
f4q are in a weird spot as a team. they started as a 4fun content team and have progressively improved to the point where they can contend with pro teams, but they still have a remainder of their "stream team" era: fivek. he's just not a player that can compete at this level unfortunately, and what makes things worse is that he takes up a role with enormous impact
the reason they're hesitant to make a definitive roster move that would bring them to the next level, where they can actually compete with the big dogs, is that fivek is basically the soul of the team. he brought everyone together, he's was one of the biggest names, and he leads the team. hard decision to make.
their full form is when they cut fivek and add an actual player to the team
this is a dumb thing to wonder, when vs stomped f4q as well lmao
i give them like a 25% chance of winning, they have a shot if they come into the game in full force
LETS GOOO STREAM TIME TIME
extremely free for g2, f4q wont even win a single round
(reverse jinxing)
people tried to tell me SMB was more tactical than acend
lol.
of course. i found it funny people were trying to pretend "lan experience" wasn't a thing just because there's no crowd
their nerves are palpable
