i want to see a third map, this is too good
hope vs wins in the end tho
But Acend are playing super super bad
i was waiting for this line lmao, a tale as old as time
all the people that actually watched korean matches knew they were saving strats lol, everyone thinks the idea of "saving strats" is just copium though
buzz isn't even the best jett in korea lmao, there's more talent that hasn't been seen yet
it was only a matter of time until someone said this LOL
odds are we'll have this match in the tournament, just wait for it to happen
i'm glad to see yay and crashies in top form popping heads but yea gonna need a bit more beyond that if they want to succeed in playoffs
yeah they're not playing well at all, disappointed with what i've seen so far. they've pretty much just been skill diffing the teams so far... which isn't a sustainable strategy at all lol
if it's good bantz i don't mind but usually "regional trash talk" devolves into literal children just insulting each other lol not very interesting
if there's slander it's gonna be other regions shitting on brazil, jp fans never attack other regions lmao
and if that's the case, nothing new
everyone is inherently biased in a way, whether they acknowledge it or not. i like to think that "enjoying good valorant" is what matters most to me, but I know for a fact that if my favorite team lost the series it would affect how i look back on it.
the envy vivo keyd match, for example, i really enjoyed it because of the back and forth between the two jetts and the explosions of individual talent. but if VK managed to win it in the end, it would probably have left a bitter taste in my mouth. and that's okay, everyone feels like that to an extent.
no actually, it was more of a exclaimation of shock that there's such a gap in skill in the group lol.
Eh, I think they'll grow exponentially from this match. they're all very young and inexperienced, to the extent where every single game you play contributes to evolving as a individual and a team. Sincerely doubt they're going to lose to CR/HL so i think by the time playoffs come around they'll surpass themselves again.
nah someone tried to make a jp laugh thread and they got ratiod to the next dimension like 50 times
its inevitable, eu na have been malding at each other since the dawn of time.
the only regions free from flame are neutral ones like japan
yeah I thought some were ironic but they’re actually arguing
I’m sure CR feel slightly better watching this lmao
hard to break into the market when everyone is already obsessed over a specific few games
that’s not what I’m implying, im talking about on an emotional level
You got fucking dismantled by 100T effortlessly, then the other team in your group does the same to the team that shit on you
tough
winning icebox boosts their chance of getting out of groups dramatically as well, unless f4q do some miraculous shit in their games
you know the funny thing is
people used this exact argument to say that NA > EU because sentinels lost domestic maps but none at iceland
just amusing how its getting swapped around now
you dont do a laugh thread until the series is over man
in csgo they unironically do this shit lol
we're losing a few rounds? woah my keyboard is acting kinda strange wtf, thats crazy
disappointing to lose but they shouldn't be upset about that result tbh. they stomped kru on split, showing real promise
if it was a few years ago i would say no, but pc culture outside of pcbangs has risen a bit so i wouldn't say impossible. definitely way harder to grow tho
yeah, zoomers are moving away from it though. its only because they have so many branding deals with idols and shit that its still relevant lmao
pretty much. everyone just plays league. if you like fps in korea by default you play overwatch (shitty cs clone called sudden attack was hella popular too)
even though valorant has the Riot name attached its really hard to break into the ecosystem already established
their retakes are 100% the most impressive part of their gameplay, you can clearly see how many hours they've put into practicing these specific movements and coordination of chaining abilities. they have so much trust in each other to do exactly what they have to, it's so cool to watch them explode onto a site
also brimstone actually getting so much value lmao
POV: biggest valorant event so far is happening and you're talking about viewership numbers instead of the matches
Pretty sure he’s more than happy where he is. Has a enormous fanbase, dominates the domestic scene, and sticks with the players he competed in cs with years ago
Also if you have a growing scene like Japan and just export all the actually decent players, you’re basically just pulling its plug lol
Nt setsuza alt
Majority of my takes are pretty mid imo. Honestly it’s hard to have a hot take when there are so many baiters here, really dampens the effect and makes them look lukewarm in comparison yknow
Edit: I remembered a username somehow, Guelry I think? definitely one of the most tolerable, mature br fans on the forum
he top fragged because he was their star duelist. now he took a step back to let yay shine and plays a more supportive role, even when he's a duelist
stop thinking bad stats = bad player
they were too excited to talk shit, game could go either way from here
+50% damage to brazilians
+100% mental resistance vs brazilians
of course every region has some trolls but japanese fans are just nicer in general
it isn't even about having expectations or not, even if their team gets upset by a team way worse they always just try to comfort them and support them without shit talking anyone else
lot of people could learn from that tbh but it is what it is
you're not entirely wrong. but i've been a fan of him for a while and i know he has competitive drive :(
oh ok so you're baiting, thanks for letting me know
