only one team can make it out in general lmao
i'm surprised so many people think b0i is meant to be some long term replacement for 100t. he's pretty clearly a temporary option that's very convenient (already signed, analyst = is in tune with their strategies, plays roles that enable nitr0 ethan and asuna)
i wouldn't be surprised to see 100t drop a check on a stronger player after the event regardless of the result
forsaken probably on initiator duty, i hope seoldam goes massive again because NTH have so much potential. felt good to see them actualize it against f4q
this is the most anticipated matchup in APAC LCQ obviously, and its definitely possible that they play twice (in upper finals and grand finals)
who do you have winning it? imo this is as close of a 50/50 as it gets, i may have favored nuturn a bit before the tournament but PRX looked monstrous today so i think its even
main things
1) nuturn not running hyeoni on jett: there are claims he might play it on other maps, but currently it feels like they don't have enough practice for allow to pick up the initiator role
2) inclusion of jing: PRX have gained a huge amount of firepower cutting shiba for jing, he and forsaken together are a really terrifying duelist duo
3) playing against each other twice: i could definitely see a situation where one team loses to the other, analyzes their loss, and then comes back to win in grand finals. but this could be either team LOL

interesting character of choice to depict yaboidre
ruthless businessman
impression of best team is driven by public perception. sentinels had by far the strongest social presence and had tenz, the player everyone was touting as “best player in the world by far”
hell you can even look at vlr forum stats lmao, there are almost 2x the number of SEN flairs than there are the next most popular team
obviously they got hyped harder. people say “it’s because they didn’t drop a map” but in reality sen had multiple close maps and the overall strength of teams at iceland was nowhere near comparable to berlin
tldr social presence
he said it himself, Vitality had a great system going with him as the 6th man, he was really enjoying it, then valve basically shut it all down forcing vitality to bench him. he felt bitter and decided to look for an opportunity elsewhere, and that was valorant
NTH 5-0 PRX
seoldam and ten go pew
i missed this map, did they really get that much better or did f4q choke
they looked pretty meh against zeta for berlin qualifiers but i always thought they had a ton of potential (even besides seoldam)
flash buff was huge, way easier to use dynamically now
also the ult change made executes with it much less rigid
I missed the match but it's pretty apparent how it went from this website lol. Like I said before LCQ started, this entire event is going to be a valuable learning experience for GE. Should be satisfied with any wins they can get but holding expectations too high is just setting yourself up for disappointment.
Obviously you should be aiming to win any event you participate in but realism is important -- when there are teams like PRX, NUTURN, who have competed against the best in the world you should be seeing this as more of a way of incremental improvement
Hope they got some positive takeaways from this loss and will learn to implement them to their lower bracket run!
if you have to argue about which side is "more racist" that's a self own brother
doing too much. a montage should not be giving people motion sickness. you have skills but just need to refine it down and work on keeping it simple
you kill waves of small mobs to gain exp and gold to upgrade character and buy items that make you stronger
there are bigger more powerful mobs that you contest the enemy team over because they give large teamwide buffs
you have to break layers of turrets and defensive structures until you reach the enemy base, where you destroy their nexus (home base) and win
damn i remember you defending SMB with your life back during berlin, you've changed man :'(
be nice, it's refreshing to see players like me (only have one hand) in the pro scene.
i'm pretty sure sprouts isn't speaking from recency bias considering he watches a lot of korean val, meanwhile you make assumptions about him and the scene while admitting you don't know much about it
guild games always go the distance without fail
can someone give me context on this guy
what teams he from, how good is he, how much stronger will prx get with him
prx interested me at berlin so i'd like to get to know more about them
f4q are definitely in danger of their playstyle getting dissected by teams that study their vods from berlin. unless they have been grinding it out hardcore and learned to embrace a looser, less gimmicky style they are definitely in danger of an upset
nuturn should be fine but of course you never know when you slot a new player in what the growing pains are. i’d say the bigger question mark is allow on a role he’s never played, not hyeoni joining as the jett
dwg played like shit, their decision making was awful and multiple rounds i was ???? at what their game plan was at all
i don’t care too much about the haven loss because if you lose both pistols and conversion rounds your economy is basically unsalvageable
but split and even ascent were really really questionable. the worst i’ve seen them look in a long time
overall a really unimpressive match of valorant, felt like a pug with the occasional breach astra play thrown in
not even fujimotos best manga
main problem with phoenix isn't even that he's weak, and he is, it's more that he has no identity to his kit
nothing he does, no part of his skillset is unique to him in a way that would make you ever pick phoenix over another duelist. when he came out i'm sure the idea behind him was "self sufficient duelist that can open sites and heal himself"
but as time goes on we see new agents come in that basically do each of his niches but better. when you think of pop flashes you think skye, when you think of self healing duelist you think reyna. even yoru, obviously the worst agent, has his own uniqueness to him that you can't easily replace the essence of with another agent.
I have no clue where to begin with improving phoenix. Imo he could benefit from a total rework, at least scrapping his current E (molly) and replacing it with something with more character to it, something that is uniquely "phoenix". maybe stem off of his firewall and give him more zoning capability?
alternatively you could have it so the wall and molly instantly heal him for the total (like 30hp/60hp respectively) so it's like he has more battle uptime rather than being forced to stew in his fire for 10 seconds before fighting again.
wack editing + epic meme song + mid clips + part 5 overrated
if you’re struggling to 180 on your sens it’s not a good sign
they might not pick up an igl and just have nitro do it, maybe felt like their team firepower was too weak after getting btfo from envy
even if they were planning on dropping him eventually. why not play out lcq considering they're hard favorites to win it as their current five? i'm so lost. c9b or xset must have been genuinely scary if it pressured them into making such a sudden change
damn going from reject to dwg is a pretty unfortunate leap in difficulty LMAO
lmfao wtf
faze posture about to get a whole lot worse
allow and t3xture do completely different things for their teams, the only similarity is their agent
compare their fk fd in that series if u really want to look at jett impact
you must be ass at every single other aspect of the game then damn that’s actually impressive how bad you have to be to offset that
baccano
mushishi
more modern releases, oddtaxi was amazing
we’re waiting for the stream yaycob yayster
damn they gonna steamroll lcq or what
they don't want to be a big fish in a small pond, they want to improve and compete against the best instead of beating up a minor region
trying to balance shit so that it's fair for both the pro scene and the casuals must be annoying as fuck
reminds me of league, champs like ryze lmao
Tenz will get humiliated, maybe quit valorant
This is actually a yay buff, man could not land right clicks to save his life
Lakia played insane the entirety of Iceland. then has one bad map and silver vlr users start shitting on him
rough
probably the 100t acend round where steel used the lakia wallbang
i was gonna put them third but don't really feel like arguing with 100t fans
1 GAMBIT
2 ENVY
3 100T
4 VS
5 G2
6 ACEND
7 SENTINELS
8 KRU
9 SUPERMASSIVE BLAZE
10 CRAZY RACCOON
11 F4Q
12 VIVO KEYD
13 PAPER REX
14 ZETA DIVISION
15 HAVAN LIBERTY
DQ BREN
that doesn't explain your stat padding comment, try again
stat padding how lmao, he did better against 100T and SEN than he did against VK and KRU lmao
honestly i wouldn't feel bad for them just because they played gambit
but going from group of death into playing GMB first round of playoffs is actually just sadistic... lmao
feels bad for them but i'm really interested to see them play at champions
reminds me more of happy in LDLC era
