5th-6th, 7-8th and 5-8th in the past 3 events is still very impressive. Similar situation to DRX during 2022, and now they're title competitors. Give Lev time, and they will be top 2 Americas and/or top 5 worldwide.

DRX, LOUD, NAVI and FNC were the top 4 teams according to most pick'ems. Very surprising considering that it's a single elim bracket.

the region gets the slot, not the team.

NA team where? SEA team where? Latam team where? obviously one of the leagues won't be in the top 4 yet, only 2 teams are.

Based on their coaching, counterstratting and overall togetherness, I believe the cloud 9 will be top 3 Americas next split, along with loud and lev/nrg/eg

the best emea teams when it comes to mechanical skill

don't missquote me.

posted about a year ago

Why not? BBL are one of the best emea teams when it comes to mechanical skill, so if their counterplay/fundamentals look good they are able to take maps off of anyone. See back here when BBL are top 5 emea next split.

I could see bleed beating all of the Pacific league teams other than talon and DRX.

Bro are you even watching the fucking matches? Even people who don't watch pro play can tell that BBL looked very good, and that PRX are a very inconsistent team.

I would assume that there just isn't a big enough playerbase built around valorant for investment into the region to be worth it from a profits perspective.

Being consistently 5-6th in the world for a year and a half is not irrelevant, especially when they were missing out on a top 3 finish by incredibly fine margins at both masters last year. While one could argue that a 2nd finish and a 4th finish is better than this, you can't just discount the fact that DRX were one of, if not the most consistent team of the pre franchise era.

He's a decent player, but not the best duelist on global esp. I would expect him to be playing hard initiator (which he has played in the past) or maybe even switching to controller/smokes.

Is there any confirmation of this or is it just rumors?

posted about a year ago

Nah, the first time foxy9 played with DRX he and zest swapped in and out, and it wasn't a serious tournament. The second tournament foxy9 was apparently playing due to zest being sick. I don't think there is any confirmation, and it's just a rumor that foxy is playing instead of zest. I would be very surprised if zest played no maps at lock//in.

they lost 2-0 to funcrew, an unsigned group of mates?

did he stream the first? I am following him and he didn't pop up

I'm supporting TGRD for ascension because everyone on the team is very likeable, and the game times are somewhat reasonable for OCE.

posted about a year ago

What more could you ask for from a regular league game? great goals from both sides, and an impressive comeback to round it out.

posted about a year ago

The tournament can only fit into a certain timeslot, and it can't overshadow champions at the end of the year. While there have been some questionable decisions around the event, just treat it as a March Madness style tournament and enjoy watching the high pressure matchups. It's not that serious.

My top 4 are Loud (I think loosing marved is a big impact for nrg/optic), DRX (I believe that the experience of the DRX core will pull through), Navi (they're good), and sen (mostly because it would be funny for fnatic to lose).

DRX 3-1 Loud
Navi 3-0 Sen

Navi 3-2 DRX, getting their revenge for champs 2022

posted about a year ago

3rd at champions, top 6 all year, and they have the same core, so the teamplay is through the roof. But sure, DRX frauds super overrated!

posted about a year ago

Also Sen vs fnatic is not a good move imo. RRQ vs Fut is an opening matchup and so is C9 vs PRX like ?????

Hard cope, one of the youngest teams and they're still getting better. No team has been as consistently top level as DRX

90% sure stax igled at champions, I doubt it's zest. Zest is fine with util, but he isn't the best statistically.

Is reduxx unable to play due to age? or is it just a decision by the teams coach
