I hope and pray we get these two in pacific LCQ as well.
Jamppi >>> sh1n???
There will be 1 ascension slot every year for the next four years, for 14 teams in each league. We don't know what will happen after that tho.
Have practised and have vods for fracture, haven't practised haven.
Crowd Control - term from overwatch. When you are CCed you can't shoot or use any abilities.
ig our standards are different. IMO a mediocre team in valorant is one who is almost but not quite making international lans. a good example of a mediocre team last year is ONS or TGRD.
I disagree that DRX have always been mediocre. During lock//in and champions 2023 they were top 4 itw, and before that they were very consistently 5-6th. They've never been the best in the world, but top 6 itw for over a year cannot be considered "mediocre".
That's a good point. I imagine that the poor role consistency partially plays into this.
In the current meta, double controller is very strong. Mako is currently the only DRX player who is very good at smokes. I believe that this, coupled with burnout and internal disagreements (6 man roster), is what lead to their “fall off”. As for a fix: Personally I believe that a 6-man roster could work, but only in cases where you have a “double controller” core and a "double int/duelist” core. Subbing your duelist in and out makes no sense. If I were DRX, I would loan out foxy9, and pick up another controller player, such as sylvan.
From what we have heard through interviews: stax is against the 6-man roster, while termi wants to keep it. I believe that they're just butting heads over how the team should be run, but from what I've heard there's no bad blood outside of that.
It's easier to get relevant info faster because you read the most relevant info first.
the going in order from biggest to smallest or smallest to biggest isn't subjective, it's logical. It's easier to get the relevant info faster because it's the first number, and the day is the most important number for everyday life.
Idk if it's an american thing, but here in NZ we say the 15th of June as much as if not more than june 15th. But either way, it's more logical to go in order (d/m/y) or reverse order (y/m/d) than m/d/y. It's also easier to get the relevant info faster for d/m/y becaues for dates the day is most often the most important.
Seeding was tl/loud/PRX, FNC, EG/NRG, DRX/EDG
RIOT WTF MAN
What should be expected from ascension teams next year? Will they be the bottom team in their leagues? just kinda mid? or best teams in the world?
Biased pacific fan But I want DRX to stomp FUT and just show that FUT was never good. EDG vs T1 will be a great rematch, Hopefully we get incredible jett-offs from kk and saya.
KKKKKKKKK "EMEA the best region" "pacific is one team region" KKKKKKKKKKKK
You only made playoffs because RITO gave you free slots
Yeah bro lock in is a major
Dude you're wrong. there have been 7 valorant majors.
This tournament isn't over! DRX will rise from the ashes with zest. Foxy9 was always just a pawn to throw off every other team.
nevermind i'm a fucking dumbass
wait he's not? bruh plat chat been lying to me
No IGL here, I would maybe put in k1ng kiNgg (leviathan) over d4v41
DRX would have absolutely made counter strats based on EG's VODs with demon1.
Read again. This is the exact point I'm making. EG had a better game plan and different players wouldn't have made a difference.
Comps go in and out of meta. I'm 100% sure that EG's anti for a neon DRX comp would have been even stronger due to the sheer number of reps DRX have with it.
EG just played one of the best maps of valorant I've ever seen. Zest would not have changed anything.
Between the changing map pool and initiator nerfs we've gone from a double initiator meta to a double controller meta. This means that kay0 is played less as he's not good as a solo initiator.
my hair is longer than your cock but okay buddy
Lil bro it's not a flex to call reddit progressive.
He was asked "do you think navi is underrated coming into this tournament" and his response was "It depends on who you're asking. maybe by VLR but not by other teams here"
No need. I'd rather just do my hobbies and enjoy myself during high school.
most of the tournaments have happened during school holidays so i don't have anything better to be doing with my life :)
It's not really relevant, but what is relevant is the fact that Asia makes up 1/3 of the valorant player base.
It doesn't “fuck up your health” if you sleep enough at other times. I would go to sleep at like 9 pm, wake at 3 am, and then nap in the afternoon for a couple of hours.
Oh no, whatever will we do? International lans are always scheduled for the local countries. I've had to wake up at 3am for every masters and champions tournament that have been played. Either suffer in your jocks or don't watch the tournament.
still not live?
Question for DRX buzz: are you able to give us any information about why zest played instead of foxy9 for the last 2 games of playoffs?
Question for PRX alecks or f0rsaken: Who is calling strats at the beginning of rounds for your team? Is there one set caller or does everyone just take turns?
