you can find a million arguments for any team and it still would be 50/50
they're just carrying the hype for this event
so generous
they have been stopped 14 times this game so far
their comps have a lot of combo potential, which suits a big portion of the map pool
translating from vlrian to english:
"can't see a positive comment" - i ignored all of the drx fans because i hate the team
"a lot of people are mad at them" - delighted went on a tantrum
henbabyh reached 2000 baits quicker
kneel before your king
noone is bullshitting what?
it's just derke is carrying half of these rounds (because hes the goat)
derke please relax i want map 3
this will be 100% pickem, it’s your chance to copy the preds
first part and disclaimer: https://www.vlr.gg/449156/paraplants-bangkok-predictions-pt-1
score so far: 4/4
DRX 2 - 1 VIT
Predicted maps: Abyss, Haven, Fracture. I think Abyss will go DRX's way: they beat geng and t1 pretty comfortably on this map. Then, Vitality takes Haven: drx struggled against the yoru iso comp. Eventually, DRX wins on Fracture, purely because they had a day off and watched Vitality play the map today, but it's a 50/50
EDG 1 - 2 G2
Predicted maps: Haven, Lotus, Fracture. EDG takes Haven, it's their best map (back-to-back 13-0). G2 wins Lotus, because EDG still run their clove comp, and G2 should be able to counter that easily. Fracture, however, is a complete coin toss. I genuinely have no idea who will win this map. I went with G2, because EDG played a KJ comp last time, which is countered by Tejo (this is not reliable, since china didn't have tejo from the start + month of prep, but that's the only reason i can think of).
TL 2 - 0 SEN
Predicted maps: Abyss, Split, Lotus. Abyss is Liquids best map, they won it 4/4 times, so they should win. On split teams are pretty close. I went for Liquid after seeing how close they were to winning it against edg (if not for the missed astra suck). Unlucky for Sen, but i don't think they have a single super strong map, which will cost them
T1 2 - 1 TE
Predicted maps: Lotus, Bind, Pearl. I would like to believe that Trace have better gameplans in their pocket, but after today's games, i have to go with T1 on Lotus. Trace might win Bind, especially given how T1 just can't accept the fact that they're not that good on this map. But eventually, T1 takes it on Pearl
that's wonderful, love that for you
just one question, where was i barking here?
there's way too many players that fit the second category
in both madrid and shanghai, all 1st seeds have won the first game against 2nd seeds
nothing shocking really
now it’s 2/2
its not their best map but definitely not one of the weakest
vitality have 100% win rate on fracture why are we lying
let’s not overreact here
it wasn’t a terrible showing, they definitely gave vitality a fight
however bind pick was troll imo, should’ve picked lotus, but that’s hindsight
please g2 lose one map
you’ll still win i just want to watch 3 maps
drx kept giving away leads in their games against t1
it’s almost like no one is the worst 😱😱
where the fuck did you get this from
one of t1’s best maps vs one of vit’s worse maps
so real
tenz also got sick again, because he ate too much spicy thai food
if you play one agent then you’re done as soon as it gets nerfed/meta change
