there's a set of rules posted somewhere - it includes either a social media account with long history of being queer, nb, etc.
or iirc you can schedule an interview where they will confirm your eligibility

i'm not so sure - the only ascension team so far was obviously g2 - and they would 100% stomp - but 2g for example isn't miles above everybody else
plus it's not just the winners - i'm sure teams like reta would suck balls
what if they make a 'championship' for all the ascension teams?
it doesn't even need to be a qualification for t1 - just a tourney to win money and see different t2 regions fight

the only way to fix all problems is just make a normal t2 scene

like any player that gets good enough will have no incentive to go to t2 because it's so unstable
