Vietnam gets 3 tho, which is dull because:

Now Cerberus+Baam+Fancy will be in LCQ as they will collect points from both stages being Vietnam reps, whereas some other teams who qualified for only 1 VCT stage due to high competition (Alter Ego, Persija, Oasis, RRQ, SBE, FW, Mith/FS) will have less points

posted about 2 years ago

I have a feeling that Bigetron >> all VN, HKTW, SA teams and maybe 2nd/3rd seeds PH

It's not really fair that they gonna lose and be out for the remainder of VCT, not even LCQ slot, when teams like Cerberus, Griffin, Velocity (Baam, Fancy United too) will be everywhere because they farmed easy countries

Something needs to change, Indonesia and Thailand deserve more opportunities, am I the only one who thinks this way

I don't watch any of games, just speculating about stats, Bigetron seem to be very competitive against SEA's best

posted about 2 years ago

They might get a play-in death group with Thai's 3rd seed, Indonesia's 3rd seed, and suddenly Bleed will care

posted about 2 years ago

Indonesia on average always had better performances than Phillippines in APAC/SEA

One outlier like Secret doesn't make the entire region stronger

Honestly I have no clue why people say "Philippines is the most stacked SEA country" when they only have 1 team who were successful outside of domestic VCT

a bigger event than the entirety of valorant and cs esports combined

posted about 2 years ago

11 teams is a big event now? With half of them being from trash wildcard regions?

Normal tournaments have 16+ teams all of whom are competitive

Also MSI format is the worst I've seen

At least CSGO is alive somewhere

Soon Valorant will be dead all around the world with new insane 10-team circuits 🤩

posted about 2 years ago

It's not easier but it requires less skill to reach peak of the game

Players like s1mple and yay would be equal in Valorant although they'd be separated by 5 tiers in CSGO

posted about 2 years ago

Lmao what
Are you saying that Valorant casters didn't learn the game enough whereas CSGO casters "have been playing it since 2000 so they know better"?
Please don't

posted about 2 years ago

Because there are no significant sponsors which would provide extra money to Riot and tournament organizers like F4U

In CSGO literally 50-60% of funding ESL, BLAST and others get - is from advertising of skins gambling websites and betting companies

Riot bans this stuff which makes them suffer

posted about 2 years ago

More exposure of small orgs because they play twice or three times number of games
More profit because way bigger airtime for showing all the sponsors and the ads

You actually have no clue about it, you think "one stream good" while in fact 2-3x streams with 2-3x more played matches is so much better

posted about 2 years ago

All EMEA Valorant casters except Pansy used to work on some shitty online matches in Pinnacle Cups nobody gave a fuck about

Riot cheap out by not hiring someone like Machine or Spunj, so here it is, we have these cool events

posted about 2 years ago

What's bad about having 2-3 games at the same time

More games = better formats, since you can do much longer round robins / swiss stages within the same time gap, which pleases viewers as they get to see their favourite teams a lot more

Gambit owner = MTS owner (huge russian mobile network operator company) = AFK Sistema owner (huge russian investment company) = Vladimir Yevtushenkov, russian oligarch, one of Putin's best friends who will do anything for the sake of Kremlin, currently under multiple sanctions not without a reason.

It is their fault.

posted about 2 years ago

-7 but you're speaking facts

While CSGO prospers with lots of tournaments, majors, top tier events, crowds, rebuilding from long online era, Valarante only buries itself more and more with lack of matches and opportunities

posted about 2 years ago

Majority of organizations end up losing more money than earning, salaries are crazy big and the amount you get off sponsorships, merchandise, tournament winnings is not enough (or barely enough) to make up for invested resourses

Of course if you have army of content creators (Faze, TSM, 100T, NRG...) or great social media management all around (G2) or very strong fanbase in one specific region / country (Navi, Karmine Corp, Vitality...), you will be going "+", but else definitely "-"

These kind of detective movies / books, when all suspects are in one same place at the time of murder, are the best

Because I know lots of shitty detectives when you be trying to guess the killer, and in the end it's some random guy in another part of the city, whom you didn't even know earlier (Conan Doyle)

No it's not correct

are you always just sitting on your computer waiting for someone to comment "(here katz comment)" just to post "(here my comment)" ???

i.e.

are you always just sitting on your computer waiting for someone to comment "are you always just sitting on your computer waiting for someone to comment "W" just to post "are you always just sitting on your computer waiting for hudsen to post an article just to comment "W"???" ???" just to post "are you always just sitting on your computer waiting for someone to comment "are you always just sitting on your computer waiting for hudsen to post an article just to comment "W"???" just to post "are you always just sitting on your computer waiting for someone to comment "W" just to post "are you always just sitting on your computer waiting for hudsen to post an article just to comment "W"???" ???" ???" ???

And then it goes bigger and bigger like fibonacci, adding last 2 together

Complexity org received more money from RMR capsules + Antwerp capsules, than they will ever get from Valorant :)
I'm talking about hundreds of thousands of dollars

What exactly is braindead? They understand that going all in in Valo doesn't make sense right now, the system that Riot is forcing for major regions (EMEA, NA) is dogshit

posted about 2 years ago

More time? Lmao time isn't the issue here

Valve allow organizers do whatever they want in CSGO and set up tournaments for all teams

Riot take everything into their own hands, but still can't create normal circuit, making it a fiesta for everyone

posted about 2 years ago

Instead of giving excuse "it's only been 2 years", you can question Riot why couldn't they implement something normal from the beginning

Pros complained about not having enough tournaments since forever

Some notable tier2 teams

https://www.hltv.org/team/11501/heet#tab-matchesBox
https://www.hltv.org/team/11251/eternal-fire#tab-matchesBox

Just look how many matches they played since the beginning of 2022, there's a tournament every week, every month, even if it's low-tier, it's still something

In trash Valorant circuit, you're limited to playing only in your own VRL or only in your region's VCT and nowhere else, which results into miserable 15-25 played maps per split (on average)

posted about 2 years ago

There will be a ESL event in China too, according to Liquipedia, if their lockdown disappears of course

Really unbelievable how more matches CSGO teams play than Val teams per season

Val orgs basically giving free salary for nothing, there's no exposure whatsoever, unless you qualify to Champions and collect 500k+ from skins, there's no reason to stay in Val

Fun as long as it's not calculus

I don't think either Engh or Redgar are in power to kick anyone from the team right now

The thing is, Gambit tries to sell the roster, as they are exiting esports forever (because of countless sanctions)

They won't sign anyone to make up for d3ffo's absense (that would be wasting money), they won't kick anyone, they just want to get rid of Valorant team and receive the maximum profit out of it

So, unless some another organization buys out Gambit's 4 players + coach (everyone except d3ffo), he will stay and he won't be removed / benched

posted about 2 years ago

War made other outcomes impossible
Yes, they will shut down

posted about 2 years ago

MTS, Russia's biggest moblie network operator, owns Gambit
MTS key owners are sanctioned because of their direct affiliation with Putin and Russia's government
Gambit as one of their products is sanctioned as well
Gambit will sell all rosters in all games, as their brand is now banned everywhere as a result of sanctions

Why would you keep rosters when you don't earn any money from it? You don't have sponsors nor name, your teams play under "Players", "M3 Champions" etc.

posted about 2 years ago

Yes and they're never coming back

posted about 2 years ago

Obviously not making any roster moves mid-season, but if they miss Masters again (I think they will), it should be done

Gambit want to sell the roster so they're not gonna do anything about team's lacking results right now, they're just waiting for the best deal and hope to get rid of players, the only way for d3ffo to be removed is if other 4 get bought out by someone

posted about 2 years ago

Derke never used to be a shitter tf you talking about
He was good ever since CrowCrowd

d3ffo should go sooner or later, people keep making excuses for his underperformance but it's getting out of hand

posted about 2 years ago

The main reason why Val crowd will be worse - Riot cheap out on organizing tournaments during Covid era, whereas PGL, ESL, BLAST try their best to reach viewer's highest expectations

Look at Busan MSI library for example, what is that garbage

I'm not a Tenz fan and I have no intention of glorifying his insane "skill"

But if you ask every Valorant watcher or player about who's the best right now, half of them will say Tenz

posted about 2 years ago

Google "best valorant player", in 90% of articles Tenz will be No.1

It doesn't matter what you think, community loves him and no matter how garbage SEN are, Tenz will still be the best valorant player in the eyes of majority

The power of streaming

Is he wrong?
EMEA deserves 6 slots to every international event and that's the minimum

posted about 2 years ago

Normal crowd would never bring those white sticks to cheer, so boring and unoriginal

They think it unites them, but it makes them look like a bunch of NPCs

posted about 2 years ago

Following that kind of mindset, you might want to stay inside your apartment the entire life, because nothing can fully protect you when it comes to outside world

In my country, the second war began, people stopped giving any shit about masks and isolation, that just shows how "scary" covid really is

posted about 2 years ago

There are only 2 international tournaments per year in League 😂
It's not like they have a lot of work to do

By the way Worlds 2021 didn't have crowd when PGL Stockholm did? Which means there was a possibility for Riot to do some things and get all needed permissions? But they didn't, they went with easier way

posted about 2 years ago

And out of those 454, 430 are 70+ grandpas and grannies

posted about 2 years ago

You don't go to live event, if you think you can die from covid and are unvaccinated

posted about 2 years ago

Meanwhile there's real sports stadiums filled with 50k+ people

posted about 2 years ago

Simple

Riot want to manage their esports themselves - they're too lazy to get all requirements for crowd in covid time, since they apparently have more important things

Valve allow ESL, PGL, BLAST and others to set up everything and basically have very little control over their tournaments, which is why CSGO LANs always have crowds, they are handled by tier1 organizers with lots of experience

In other words, Riot doesn't trust anyone, resulting into having shittier events with garbage management
