Ok
Have a nice day sir
At the end we're fans of same team and I just shared an opinion...
From that list purp0 is best obviously
I think vo0kashu and chiwawa are too used to sentinels, they might not be that good on duelists
But if +trexx happened and M3C was bought out by some organization (without d3ffo), they'd come back to 1st position in the world
Why SEN fell off: streaming, motivation loss, ego, greed
Why M3C fell off: war (partly), lack of innovation, no roster changes (-d3ffo should've happened long ago)
Completely different reasons of downfall
And M3C is still much better than Sentinels
"M3C doesn't need to rely on the duelist to hard carry" that's because they simply can't, not because they don't need to
I could be wrong but I feel like d3ffo just doesn't have the potential (aim skill for example) to get into bombsite and make 2-3 frags straight away
If M3C could get someone like trexx, purp0, whatever, they'd become more versatile and wouldn't be limited to one dimensional "duelist is not supposed to carry" playstyle
Every team needs to rely on their duelist to be at least top-2/3 in scoreboard, what the fuck is your statement
Man said TL lmfao
TL will finish 5th-6th in playoffs alongside anyone who comes from B as 3rd
Except Victor doesn't main raze, Victor is more of an initiator player... He can be allowed to underperform on an agent which is not his signature
d3ffo's signature agents are jett and raze, and you see those stats, it's unacceptable
I have nothing against d3ffo personally but I would've made a change already
I think Acend is top-3 EU right now tho
Acend / Fnatic / FPX
https://www.vlr.gg/player/252/d3ffo/?timespan=90d
Look Jett and Raze stats
That's not what a duelist should perform like
Inb4 hundreds of excuses about how d3ffo "creates space"
Guild also never went to Masters and Champions
Doesn't mean Guild isn't tier1, there's just not enough slots for EMEA
Welp this is the end of the team
I mean I felt like it was coming ever since those losses to FNC and G2 in 1st stage
Still supporting but very pessimistic
Are you capable of understanding how bad this distribution is?
Full Sense get nothing but 17th-20th places in APAC get >20 points?
I didn't even bring EU/CSGO into conversation, chill out and take some fresh air
Respect other people with whom you're having conversation, instead of going full zombie mode and throwing random slurs
Compare Thailand results in SEA/APAC/World to Vietnam results in SEA/APAC/World
Now think again
Who cares if you get downvoted, everybody should feel free to share opinions
This stuff is absurd
Vietnam top-3 didn't change between stages, Cerberus, Fancy, Baam will get more points than some stronger teams who didn't make it to APAC once (Full Sense, Secret, No Namers)
Imagine these VN teams go to LCQ and Full Sense doesn't
This system benefits weak region farmers and doesn't benefit competitive leagues like Thailand, Indonesia
vo0kashu will have to leave his country in order to be signed by Navi, that's new policy of organization
And tbh he's better off playing for Rebels, they're prob paying him well, he's already known in Spanish community and gets his slice of popularity there
Navi choking playoffs slot again just like last stage
Coincidentally, Liquid get through this time as well
My bad thought that guy was doing exact distribution like in article, can't read
No CIS team will be allowed to enter franchise
They already said it's 7 Europe 3 Turkey
Also M3C is not an organization, and I doubt anyone will want to buy them out as a 5, they're likely to disband after Champions (if they qualify there)
Really I don't think some extra "exposure" from playing at the remainder of Stage 2 and LCQ will justify spending hundred(s) of thousands of dollars, because salaries in NA are way too big and hard to maintain
Better to focus on other esports where there are more opportunities
Get a solid team for what?
To lose NA Challengers 2, lose LCQ, and then nothing else till 2023, when they get denied partnership in the league anyway?
You must know that Valarante esports is garbage in its current form and not worth entering
The value of an esports company is not an indicator of how much real profit they make over a certain period
In fact all of them are losing millions every year, but strengthening their image, yeah
Also don't forget - biggest investments and sponsorships, your last words, come from betting and gambling companies
Riot bans betting and gambling companies
You can only imagine how much money Navi CSGO division make from having GG.BET and CS.MONEY as sponsors
That's cool but it doesn't justify that they're "making money"
Salary in LoL is times bigger than in CS, there's no way orgs cover that financial loss with some extra marketability as you call it
Explain
Why partnered orgs will "make money" in franchised system whereas in open circuit they have "uncertain future"
From what I know they're running at losses because of how big salaries are in LoL for example
I feel like you understand this stuff very superficially and don't go deep into details of how it really functions
Almost nobody on this website really knows what's it about
Yes we can give some simple answers like "no relegation, paying for slot" etc. but if you're looking for real answer - google
Heck even I don't know properly
Atheists can pray, not to a specific religion, but to an accidental set (sequence) of events in the future which will benefit them
For example I'm atheist and I do pray before exams for an easy ticket
I call it "the will of chance", it has nothing in common with religions, it's just about right decisions at right times
Almost all of TI prize goes to players
I don't think Spirit could cut more than 3 million from that amount
And 3 million is nothing in modern esports scene (in a long run)
Lmao have you seen recent news about Navi kicking everyone who lives in Russia?
It also makes no sense for Navi to sign russians from business perspective, because 80% of russians don't support them anyway at this point
People don't understand orgs don't just sign rosters left and right
Even if it's a russian org like Spirit
Valorant model is not profitable, especially in 2023, there's no chance anyone from CIS gets EMEA League slot
Spirit won't enter because game is dead in the region, they will fail to compensate for losses spent on salaries, bootcamps and stuff, and they won't gain any popularity from main targeted audience (Russia)
Any other org you said won't enter because it's tough to manage a team of 5 russians nowadays (speaking about all the complications), let alone the fact that you won't monetize russian fans either
Besides M3C don't look as good as before, can't even tell if they're good enough to clinch top-3 EMEA, so...
Sadly, unless they qualify to Champions, it's looking like disband, with everyone (well except d3ffo) going to biggest EU names...
What I'm saying is that, if Full Sense + Sharper + X10 qualified in place of current 3 TH reps, all of them would still go on to become top-8, despite not being top-3 in Thailand
Vietnam top-3, Taiwan top-2, South Asia top-2, 2nd/3rd from Philippines would probably suffer in Thai league, getting eliminated 7th-8th
No it's not bullshit
They signed a deal in 2018, by which MTS company acquired the organization
MTS owner is from Putin's gang, he's a horrible guy, he provides weaponry to Russian army
Is it just me or SA 2nd seed will have better chance of going further?
Not that Boom / Mith are easy to beat, they are strong, but nobody wants to be with Xerxia / Alter Ego...
Group D is likely to have an indonesian team (Boom) or a singaporean team (Bleed)
FW is crazy underrated, they are almost on par with Xerxia and came as 2nd seed from Thailand
There is a scenario in which Secret goes out 3rd
Boom / Mith / Cerberus reunion lol
They won Full Sense twice which means they're automatically better than any SA team
To be honest any top-6 from Thailand could easily go for top-8 in APAC, sadly only 3 slots
Are you 12?
Anyway what is funny about my response, is this some kind of humor to turn everything into copypasta?
You're joking but unironically most people who use Internet often (like VLR users) tend to have high IQ of 110+, compared to those who use Internet not so much and spend more time outdoors
Surfing the web for long not only teaches you english language, it also provides you with new information you didn't know before, it makes you more educated in certain spheres and fills your brain
Meanwhile rednecks in villages who never go online don't know anything about world - they have no clue about economics, politics, geography, history and all that stuff in general
This text is not worth it, there's no point of persuading Sentinels to do anything.
I don't get why people still talk about them so much, endless VLR threads, endless Reddit threads... They're done. Franchising will provide Sentinels with a slot next year, but it won't make them skilled.
South America was getting extra attention last year too
Which is hilarious, their playerbase is times smaller than any other region (NA, EMEA, APAC), their teams had no international success except for KRU (not counting LOUD because it happened after 2022 slots were distributed)
It'd be funny to see NiP and Vivo Keyd in Champions, but only 3 of Fnatic/FPX/Liquid/M3C/Guild/G2/Acend would make it
Yes - Navi, Cloud9, Spirit, Virtus.pro, Forze and m0nesy russians teleported to Antwerp
Russian airlines, not russians
Papich is pohuist, he doesn't care, it's not even neutral position, it's something else
He only wants to stream and keep audience
I think if Navi, petrik, yxo, ceh9, v1lat and others were more friendly and less hostile towards russian orgs, players, fans - a lot of them (russians) would change their opinion and worldview
But they ruined everything and now we have this, eternal battlefield in russian-speaking social medias which never gonna stop
Bro the only reason Magnum and old Fnatic were relevant and belonged to tier1 was Derke
Derke won them rounds, maps, series, without him they'd be worthess garbage
You should stop overrating players just because they've been to several LANs and they have so-called experience, it doesn't make them any better than others
Honestly this is so, so, so fucking dumb
Like I get why Navi are doing this...
But you won't make russians become against government and against war, if you only keep proving their thoughts of ukrainians being "nazis" (we aren't)
Navi only make matters worse doing these actions, they'd be better off having some neutral position while trying to spread the truth among russians in the meantime
I can briefly explain
War caused a huge split in CIS esports community, we were more or less friendly before, but now there are two sides of a massive conflict
Ukrainians being attacked, shelled, murdered, raped -> ukrainians mad, calling for attention -> ukrainians blaming russians and trying to pressure russians (natural process when your country gets invaded, can't blame them) -> russians mad because of collective responsibility others try to put on them -> russians choose their country's side, even though they could be against the war in the beginning -> from this point there will be no peace, because each of two countries' citizens only creates more and more hate over time -> end of CIS esports community
See, russians were told since birth that a lot of ukrainians are nazis, and basically Navi are proving it by their current actions, although I fully understand why they're doing it - Navi have no evil intentions, they just want to somehow help stop the invasion
Let's say you're Kremlin:
You invade a country, saying there are a lot of nationalists who detest you -> invaded country's citizens start to hate you -> you tell your citizens "see, they are indeed nazis, we told you" -> your citizens begin to believe that everything you said was true -> your citizens show more support for you
No tier1 or tier1.5 team will go for Magnum, he is bad
In fact I'm surprised he managed to stay on Fnatic for so long, while having the shakiest aim in the world
