Reaction time is not the only difference
Mindset is the real difference maker
It's not called "gaming gene"
Men have that extra competitive drive, anger, will to improve, ability to invest days and weeks, which most women (not all) don't tend to experience to that huge degree
Even if playerbases were equal, even if girls loved to do "our" stuff from the very young age, even if there was no sexism or discrimination in place - not much would change in esports scene, men would still fill 99-100% of slots in tier1, tier2, tier3 teams
How deluded you guys must be to think that's the only cause of such big skill gap
Yes, there's a ton of secondary reasons why girls advance less in esports than boys, I'm aware of that and I agree with that
However, the main reasons are directly related to the way men/women minds work, and physical stuff as well
Do you know that it used to be exactly like this, up until not too long ago?
Because it literally couldn't be otherwise
Looks like you must be some crazy liberal to get girls!
You can't have traditional ideas, because that means you don't get girls!
Westerners are funny, I can't
Everyone's denying, just take a look at people who replied to me
It's not just psychological difference, it's mental difference too
I never said I support that system of thought
But I do think that's how nature "designed" us to be, boys and girls, different ways of life
Wrong
I see people here can't bring any normal arguments and go full mob mode
I might have a conservative upbringing that is so unusual to you westerners, but that doesn't make me any less right
Competitive video games is sports
Biology always has something to do with sports, sorry if that confuses you
Men are hunters by nature, they can and will always put in more hours into pursuing their dreams, hence on average being more successful that women
It has everything to do with skill
You can't deny human nature
I know a bunch of liberals here will always say "genders are equal" but they aren't, not in sense of rights, but in sense of biological differences
They're not gonna stick together after LCQ
nats, sheydos, chronicle into tier1 EMEA franchised orgs
d3ffo, redgar to eternal tier2 hell
That's how it's gonna be unfortunately
Tanizhq going from team to team and he fits nowhere
I think you should stop worshipping M3C because it looks weird and inappropriate
They're weak, accept it, let it go
Very possible, either way M3C disband after LCQ and part ways
Sadly kristof was right
You're shitting on him, but Liquid look much better than with L1nk
They just can't tell d3ffo to go away, he has contract, only org can terminate it, and they won't because it'd mean a necessity to pay tens of thousands of dollars for another player
My prediction: nats, sheydos, chronicle will form a core, which (+2 players) will be acquired by one of EMEA franchised teams in 2023
GMB org is shutting down all esports divisions
Benching d3ffo and signing someone else would be a waste of money for an org which is determined to cease
M3C players just gonna leave after their contracts expire, unless some of them get bought out before that
Where's xDillan guy
What do you think about d3ffo now
My point is, everything is about chemistry
Tier2 teams have bad chemistry, that's why they lose, Fokus lose, OGLU lose etc.
But if you put a player from t2 team into t1 team, he is very likely to perform due to overall much better gameplan coming from coach and teammates
Fresh example: Fearoth, (maybe) Dreamas
And vice versa, if you put a player from t1 team into t2, he's likely to not be that great, good enough, but not great
Fresh example: baddyG, Kiles, (maybe) Magnum
baddyG = great at FPX (tier1 league), won them EMEA = mid at Vitality (tier2 league), losing to random frenchies and barely top-fragging
Skill difference is miserable
Before you realize that Magnum skill is not that much better than skill of VRL players
Look at Kiles, dude won Champions and now botfrags in Giants
In fact almost everyone in tier1-tier2 EMEA Valorant scene is equal aim-wise, there are better players, there are worse players, but for the most part...
Difference between higher tier VRL teams and lower tier EMEA teams is almost non-existent
Mad Lions (old Tenstar) could probably beat BBL, Navi, BIG, Fokus, OG LDN
There's no definitive better business model, different organizers are trying out different things and seeing what works best for them and their particular game
Never said they lost money on LoL, it's impossible
They did lose money on League esport more than they gained from it
The insignificant increasing popularity of the game can't make up for the losses they spend on boosting esports ecosystem
It's indeed an advertisement for the game, but the company itself will never go positive from League (esport) because costs outweight profits, and it will always be like this
Do you know that Riot hasn't made any real profit from League of Legends esports scene over 10 years?
They failed to transform LoL esport from huge marketing expenses to a generator of money.
Money for whom?
For Riot? No, they'll be regularly paying hundreds of thousands of dollars to each participating team, they'll definitely lose from this.
For orgs? No, orgs will be wasting it all away (and even more) on players salaries, bootcamps, travels, content creation, they won't lose neither gain from this, but they'll increase their brand values.
For players? Yes, but only those in franchising, everyone else except 150 guys in 30 teams can fuck themselves.
I don't think you have any idea what franchising means.
I can understand TSM rejection, plenty of scandals there
I'm no Sentinels fan but that reasoning is so dull, maybe SEN management believes this exact team will come back to its 1-year-ago form, they are not supposed to change players every time, they can do whatever they feel like to do, maybe SEN indeed thinks this roster can be highly competitive
Riot has no right to deny Sentinels application just because of that, I mean... It makes no sense, It's almost like Riot judges Sentinels using some out of place factors
I thought those were singaporeans?
What about Rogue, Misfits
I think Vitality over OG as well
And KOI is too young to get a slot
That's why he was removed from Fnatic
Playing on LAN is not a big deal
Look at Spirit CSGO, they have very young guys who just came from academy (patsi, s1ren), yet they went to semifinals in Antwerp and these 2 didn't choke like they were "supposed to"
Same for b1t during Stockholm major, he was insane although it was his 1st LAN
Additionally, Magnum always choked on LANs under pressure, Alfajer definitely can't be worse than that
Lmfao people will be shocked when FW top group D
Thailand the strongest SEA region yet underappreciated so hard
How on earth you put Fancy United above FW?
Overhyped my fucking ass. Go ask some of top 8 teams in SEA and they'll definitely say we could be a contender for the masters slot. We are scrimming them on 120+ ping and making it close and even beating them. Every top SEA team we have scrimmed has high respect for us knowing the damage we can do on the ping we have yet alone what we would do on low ping. We are not like Bonkers or Soniqs and it takes one vod review to see that. I hope to change all your minds when the time comes but for now have some respect on our names.
TLDR small fanbase = boring
Liquid have no motivation in this match
Guild secured 1st seed, Liquid secured playoffs, there's nothing they can gain
About BIG/Navi:
BIG improved a lot between 1st week and 4th week, a lot means 300% better gameplay
Liquid were 1 round away from losing to Navi multiple times, only won because of dinkzj having the worst day he could ever have, else they'd lose
The gap between M3C and TL doesn't exist, and even if it does, it leans towards M3C
I don't think it's possible, in Valorant everyone has pretty much equal aiming skills as the game has low ceiling in that matter
It's different from CSGO, because in that esport aim differential is way more noticeable, you only have 10-20 players in the world who can shoot like ropz, s1mple, b1t, hunter, niko, rez...
You can definitely build a superteam which will win everything in CS, but not in Val
Those who say that should stick to watching MMA or other entertainment fighting sports, if they don't respect tournament formats
Gambit don't want to waste money buying someone else, they are looking to disband the organization and sell all rosters in all games
The only way for d3ffo to be removed is if other 4 get signed to another org and he doesn't
Else Gambit will keep him until contract expires
I can't believe they lost to weak Liquid last stage, which cost them Reykjavik slot
They've been looking so much better both before and now
5 of these 6 teams need to overtake SEN in points, in order for SEN to miss LCQ
100T, NRG, EG, Faze, Ghost, TSM
100T need top-8
EG need top-8
NRG need top-8
Faze need top-8
TSM need top-6
Ghost need top-6
If at least 2 things of above don't happen, SEN goes to LCQ
It's 90% likely that SEN will be there
You should try CSGO, you'll understand that aiming in CSGO is harder than in OW, Val or anywhere else, mostly due to small size of head, body, legs etc.
OW character models are twice as thicc as CS character models
Aiming is a lot easier because you don't need to be that precise when clicking heads for example
90% of CSGO is NOT just good reaction time and crosshair placement, watch a major or something, you'll change your opinion
Spirit, forZe, Virtus.pro made it to CSGO Antwerp major
All three russian orgs with majority russian players
All russian CSGO teams made it to major in Antwerp...
