MAKOOOOOOO

I think even a 4 year age gap of 16-20 is very different in terms of stages of development imo but it's still legal in Japan. The cover up part is disturbing tho...wonder what the internal investigation will turn up

To each their own. It's also just a chance to expose yourself to a new genre of music to see if you like it, it doesn't have to be work.

Listen to BTS, ShiNee, Twice, and Blackpink if you want to try KPOP out. If you like it, congrats you have a common interest with her and something to start conversation. If you don't like it, then try to find a different commonality between you. Just don't pretend to like KPOP just to get with her, that will read as fake if she finds out later you just used it to get with her imo

lmfao why did you list eating ,sleeping, and pooping as flaws when those are just body processes

I think that even if people agree with you, they are pointing out that you shouldn't be so bothered when you don't get validation from vlr users. I'm not sure it's healthy to be so shaken when a couple of people downvote you. It's not that big of a deal, people disagree about all kinds of things :>

Zest said in an interview that he thought Foxy9 would be in instead of him a couple of weeks before the tournament so it sounded like it would be Fox9 for Zest unless it was a Sova map.

You're on a forum online insulting someone you have a parasocial connection with. Don't you think that's what cringe is

I'll agree on the Viper argument that Less and suygetsu are probably better. Nats had his moment as best in the world but right now he isn't.

Omen - Pancada is an S tier controller player but I think Mako edges him out barely :/

Brim: You mentioned someone not even playing currently so he can't be the best in the world. You are doing anything you can to find someone other than Mako lmfao. I'm glad you acknowledge that Mako is the best Astra through your omission of the agent. Mako literally carried DRX to getting 2 maps against Loud and was the best player in the server that day as well as being consistently good in every single tournament. Just admit he's a top 2 controller in the world (I would put Pancada 2)

posted about 2 years ago

Saying a player has really good utility = meatriding i guess.

posted about 2 years ago

I would put Mako on every controller except Harbor because his utility and consistency on those agents is simply better than the rest imo

Why do you think they are doing that? People usually make money off of their body to get money to achieve their future goals. You're judging these people selling the pics...I'm judging the people paying for these pics when porn is free online

posted about 2 years ago

...in scrims. You realize not every team plays scrims like they are comp matches right? Some teams try new comps, practice retakes or site holds, and overall experimentation. Scrim results don't give any context for the result

Overall, this does a good job of highlighting most of the main takeaways from the Pacific Region but I feel like you missed the mark on some of the up and coming teams. For me, GenG comes away from the tournament as the biggest surprise of the Pacific region as they looked far more structured and individually talented than most people expected from them going in. I also completely disagree with your Talon point. garnetS looked incredible for his debut tournament, and we don't know if patiphan will be able to regain his form after he recovers from his wrist surgery. You state that TS have a more legitimate shot at making Tokyo than GenG and Talon which is backwards in my opinion: I believe those two teams have a much better shot at making Tokyo than Team Secret.

Also please re watch the games and then make a new tier list because wtf was that

I think that it's simply because the United States has numerous sub-cultures and someone who lives in LA has a very different geographic culture than someone living in the Deep South. Obviously, the United States is not the only country with sub-cultures but I think that's the reason

posted about 2 years ago

I don't think that the rest of the A tier teams are quite up to Leviathan's level so I would move them up as the bottom S tier team. My only other change would be to move FUT down just because I think Lock In was as good as their performance could get while I believe other team's peaks in that division are higher. Good list tho :>

posted about 2 years ago

Fair. I would include Shao instead of yay then (I think he's a better player overall anyways I just forgot about him)

posted about 2 years ago

No way you can say that the top 5 players itw come from 2 teams in Valorant. --Aspas or Less, and --Chronicle and add Mako at 3 and yay at 5

Can people stop picking DRX to win? Maybe I'm just a bitter fan but I'm tired of people choosing DRX to win only for them to fall short by a bit.

I think it would be potentially interesting to provide a way to pay a monthly fee to see who upfrags and downfrags each comment. I'm not sure if the kids on vlr.gg would pay for it but I think if they did, maybe it would allow the mods to actually get paid for their work on here

posted about 2 years ago

I see a lot of people leaving out GenG but I believe that their performance vs Loud was extremely good, and the time for the new team to gel will only make them better. I could see them upsetting teams and qualifying to Tokyo or Champions by the end of the year

POV: you say you don't care about Andrew Tate but you spend 40 minutes fighting for his honor in the comments of a vlr section.

You are like the worst Tate fan there is: someone who completely supports him and his ideology but is such a fucking coward that they feign indifference towards him because they know that what they support is wrong. At least some of these other people can state what they believe in (even if its hateful bullshit), you just have shit beliefs and no courage to stand behind something.

posted about 2 years ago

You are completely justified in feeling this way and people that disagree are always people that haven't gone through it. I'm gay and live in an extremely conservative place and I have had several instances where I have seen Andrew Tate influence my peers to be more confident and bold in their misogyny and homophobia and it's so sad to see. One of my favorite coworkers who I was somewhat close to heard about Andrew Tate and started making a lot of the same jokes (they call it dark humor but it's really just them saying fucked up shit). Soon after, his behavior towards me completely changed and our interactions ended with him calling me a slur (he unsurprisingly got fired after disrespecting our female supervisor). Even worse, my sibling who had finally somewhat accepted my sexuality fell into an Andrew Tate follower echo-chamber and began saying I "wasn't a real man" and refused to leave me alone. It ended with my sibling and my parents coercing me to go to a "healing retreat" where people tried to convince me I could pray the gay away if I solved my childhood issues (hello modern day conversion therapy). I say all of that just to stand by you in showing some of these people that Andrew Tate's words have real affects on our lives and him having "a couple good takes" doesn't make up for the devastating destruction the rest of his words dole out. I'm so happy it sounds like you have separated yourself from those negative influences and I wish you all the best moving forward. Always nice to see genuine, good people on this site :>

You've been having some good takes recently are you feeling alright?

I really hope Zeta qualify because I think it would make the Masters at Tokyo exciting. Also I think PRX have a serious problem because their playstyle is so rigid and known that everyone knows what to expect from them now. Aggression works extremely well when people don't know what to expect, but we have seen a lack of flexibility from PRX that leads to teams performing better against them.

posted about 2 years ago

You are underrating his IGL calling and his fragging. Kingg is.a better fragger but saadhak is a way better caller and has been proven over multiple tournaments. Maybe he shouldn't be 2 but IMO he is the most valuable player on Loud. Vlr continues to underrate IGLS when there is a shortage rn in the pro scene

posted about 2 years ago

Everyone sleeping on KRU wtf? They easily clear

posted about 2 years ago

He's not Top 5 wtf he's very good, probably Top 10.

Top 5:
1) Shao
2) saadhak (IGL buff)
3) yay
4) Mako
5) SUYGETSU

Wait and see how the perform does in the league before considering any roster changes. And that should go for any team, we need to give them time to gel together and get a long period of practices in.

Do we know if he is seeing a therapist or not? It's not really our business. You can wish the best for someone without playing Online Therapist and diagnosing him yourself. I am literally training to be a psychologist so I'm not "being dismissive" of depression, I'm cautioning against self-diagnosing / diagnosing someone you don't know at all. Just stop assuming shit :>

posted about 2 years ago

Why is this whole thread diagnosing someone with shit after seeing them online. Professional therapists and psychologists have a hard time diagnosing stuff online, so I don't think you all are in any way qualified enough to be making these assumptions and calling him "manic" or saying he lost his mind. You don't even know him fr.

posted about 2 years ago

I'm sorry dasnerth is not good enough for a pro team right now. In ranked, he can make it to radiant because ranked is much more fast-paced and less utility is used (and less strats). In a pro team, the enemy team would always be ready for the judge which takes away about 50% of its power. And his rifle isn't good enough for a pro team.

posted about 2 years ago

You're saying the guy who manages to entertain 5000 people while they watch him play a game is SO awkward that he ruins the comms on a team? Have you ever even listened to the comms of a pro team when they play a round? What in the stupid

posted about 2 years ago

I guess this is our new form of communication now that vlr broke

posted about 2 years ago

I'm pretty sure they only fuck occasionally, the whole point is that they let each other fuck other people as well. However, they go on romantic dates, share an apartment, and live the rest of their life the same as a common relationship.

posted about 2 years ago

You are free to believe what you want but my particular friends are happier with this kind of relationship because a lot of the conflict in their relationship was coming from sexual compatibility and monogamy didn't work for them. So they tried opening up their relationship and their relationship has much better communication, clear boundaries and expectations, and it has made other aspects of their lives prosper as well. To me, a relationship with someone that makes the rest of your life better is a healthy relationship :> Maybe different things work for different people and that's ok. I couldn't do an open relationship but I'm happy for those that can

posted about 2 years ago

Half open relationships are not common in NA, or at least I have never personally known anyone to be in one. I have had two friends be in healthy open relationships but never half-open

posted about 2 years ago

The crowd isn't gonna "heavily skew" any game imo. Stellar said in his interview he could barely hear the crowd and the crowd doesn't help you click heads. The brazil teams are just good, that is why they are mostly doing well in this tournament
