Thank you to my indian friend for teaching me this trick.

If anyone else has any more magic words to say pls teach me.

It's considering the most recent results. As in, who is currently the world champion.

posted about a year ago

As of right now the standings are as follows:

  1. Boaster (Current World Champion)
  2. Saadhak (2 matches away from being most recent world champion)
  3. FNS (Used to beat saadhak in every matchup, but has lost latest 2 matches against him)
  4. Stax (Has never beaten FNS out of the 3 times they've played against each other)
  5. Koldamenta (Might be able to beat DRX, maybe tied with 4th)
  6. Ange1 (Lost to DRX and KOI)
  7. kiNgg (Lost in spectacular fashion against NAVI)
  8. Benkai (Lost to Ange1, PRX have fallen off slightly, I need to see Paper Rex performing again before I'm confident in his skill)

Note: the top 6 are all incredibly close

posted about a year ago

People have been heavily underrating koldamenta as an IGL. KOI is Guild but with upgrades in every role.

Sheydos, nAts, Chronicle, and Redgar were all on the same team at one point, all in their prime, and they went into three overtimes against NV (later OpTic under the same roster) in the 2021 Berlin Grand Finals.

They would've been the first dynasty.

He's easy to work with if he hasn't had any issues with Steel's IGLing. Any flaws he may have are easy to correct in short run.

Exalt was the first one to go, so that gives me a reference point. Clear plays more according to DSG's gameplan, while Exalt overheated a lot more than he should have in certain situations.

posted about a year ago

I think a team of this caliber still needs some kind of star-power. I think clear is the perfect medium between strategy-orientated (bdog) and full-on ego overheat (OXY)

posted about a year ago

I'm ngl the flex role is the one I struggled with deciding the most. I don't think there's a single outstanding flash initiator/flex in VCL outside of TGRD and M80. They're all either mid or above average. I just chose Mada since SR is a very coordinated, strategy orientated team and if I can't have the best player in that role, I'll at least take the one that is able to make the others shine as bright as they can.

posted about a year ago

Awper/Duelist - Clear*
Scan Initiator - Flyuh (IGL assuming he was the one calling strats on MXM vs M80)
Flex - Mada
Smokes - Skuba
Sentinel - Dapr

*While on paper OXY is the better duelist, I sincerely think his ego holds him back tremendously. Clear is a cracked duelist in his own right and is much more fit for teamplay.

20 years old and already the second best IGL in NA.

give him 10 years of experience and he will surpass FNS in every aspect (including his aim).

posted about a year ago

after the first 10 bullets yeah, but before then you can still generally predict where the bullets will go, even if they are slightly random.

posted about a year ago

bro you don't know what you're talking about, look at yay's match history: he grinds like 9 deathmatches before playing comp, and he's not even streaming so its not even to show off in ranked.

Don't get me wrong, I'm as pissed at C9 as everyone else; the premiere org that everyone looked up to as a pillar of NA esports ending up in the laughable state that its in is ridiculous.

That being said, I don't actually think C9 will perform that badly with two Tier-2 players to replace vanity and yay--and the only reason for that is mCe.

Remember, mCe is the one that brought together the original GUARD roster, finding virtually unknown players with a glimmer of talent and polishing them into undisputable tier-1 talent.

While it's obvious that C9 picked up runi and jakee to save money, I don't doubt that the one who actually chose those specific players was mCe, and a lot of their peers in the VCL have praised their talents.

Therefore, if there's anyone capable of turning these two into NA gods, it's mCe. Maybe not in their first few matches, but there's a strong possibility that later down the line, perhaps by champions, C9 might become a dark horse to win it all considering their current talent.

Hypothetically, if runi becomes an S-tier IGL, and jakee ends up being not only cracked but a team player (something the old C9 roster desperately needed), then Xeppaa, leaf, and zellsis will be able to reach their full potential but crush other NA teams given their raw mechanical and clutch skills.

If this is the case, I predict that 1 year down the line, the weak link will be Zellsis.

bro's clueless. man's just guessing

posted about a year ago

I was thinking that Khalil was probably Furia's weakest link, but pAncada's on Sentinels, and Tuyz is on LOUD so I don't really know who else is an option to upgrade the spot.

posted about a year ago

MIBR isn't that bad. They're just mid compared to their competition; would probably beat DFM or RRQ any day.

posted about a year ago

Ngl I thought it was a fluke win when they won against TL, but now they've beaten Talon. I think they might be an A tier team.

posted about a year ago

4 months ago I got into a few deathmatches with Carpe and Sayaplayer, and I'll be honest--Saya was goated but Carpe was struggling.

Looking at his most recent game against GE, I'm so glad to see how far he's improved. I think given some more time in the scene he could become an actual god.

I'm going to keep my eye on T1 for a while.

He's still young. If he trained his regular aim I'm kind of curious how far he'd be able to reach in pro play

Damn he's grinding

posted about a year ago

People talking about reaction time clearly don't know that the highest level of valorant isn't about aim, but gamesense. There's a reason why FNS and ANGE1 are franchised and OXY isn't
