Well I respect that opinion, but I spend a lot of time on this site and watching tier 2 and I can guarantee you the common understanding was that Woot was the better prospect than all those guys, maybe keiko came close, but marteen/ kicks / runner had very little hype

Coming into the year most EMEA fans would have told you that Woot was the best prospect coming out of tier 2 in the entire region and the only reason he wasn't on a better team is that he wasn't 18.

Now that being said he could take longer to adapt than the others or not step up as much, but on paper, yes, he is much much better than patitek. patitek is a solid player but Woot can carry quite often

That's not true, you can have a very good first tournament and then step back a little. It's very common. Being a consistent duelist is very hard
