goked is a good coach that had a lot of success in tier 2, it just didn't work with lev

posted 11 months ago

Fair enough, I can tell the leagues you watch by looking at the list, it's solid tho, just lacks some depth in some leagues

posted 11 months ago

The entire KPI roster is better than quite a few of the players there, and I'd argue Purpo and Famsii are proof

posted 11 months ago

I would add Moh and Avez from MENA, and lack quite a few players from the Spanish/East/french league

posted 11 months ago

They’ll play again at champs and get 2-0d xD

posted 11 months ago

You can win a series with negative round diff

posted 11 months ago

Rn probably

cap

posted 11 months ago

barsa clears

posted 11 months ago

fielding a roster with minimum salaries it's net positive because of the money riot gives teams

posted 11 months ago

lol idk why I wrote 100T, I just read it I meant to say SEN has the h2h. Only game that matters is regular season, counting anything else would be pointless and it could even lead to ties and more weird shit

posted 11 months ago

I’m not talking about playoffs. Counting anything other than regular season makes no sense imo. I’m not 100% certain tho

posted 11 months ago

Well 100T won, so 100T xD

Edit: I meant sen won during the regular season so they have it lmao my brain ain’t working

posted 11 months ago

You can play only 1 Chinese team. You might end up with FPX TH and GenG in your group

posted 11 months ago

You could get yourself in a serious group of death if you do that

posted 11 months ago

They didn't wanna add money so Riot didn't let them in. If Riot allowed them to maintain everything as it currently was they would have probably accepted. Guess you can see it both ways, either way, there is a financial stability test that's needed and Riot can totally reject a team if they see it fit

posted 11 months ago

Not exactly, players from an affiliate team can move between both teams almost freely, kind of like an NBA 2way contract if you know. Famsii this year has been the only example I believe, he played with both UCAM and GX at the same time. Money tho that does depend so it could be very little to none or quite a lot

posted 11 months ago

Yeah but the amount depends on what they agreed to. The standard is the salary of 1 or 2 players or something like that since they have the right to use them, but you never know with Bleed ig

posted 11 months ago

I imagine the deal just breaks if the team ascends

posted 11 months ago

Not necessarily

posted 11 months ago

He would have done better than yay for sure, he's really good

posted 11 months ago

Yeah I imagine he has thought about it already

posted 11 months ago

That makes sense but if they ascend that partnership would break so doesn't really help

posted 11 months ago

banger name, I can't explain it but it sounds hilarious

posted 11 months ago

If that is the case I'm not sure Riot will be cool with it, but I imagine it can be changed

posted 11 months ago

Well all of you seem to agree so I thought I might remember wrong and had to check again.

The news comes after The Guard and their former lineup were controversially denied a spot in VCT Americas due to The Guard organization not meeting Riot's Team Participation Guidelines.

https://blix.gg/news/valorant/g2-the-guard-report

I might still be as you guys say, but I knew my memory wasn't just making shit up

posted 11 months ago

Alright so they're bigger than I thought. My initial concern still remains tho, I suppose all the money doesn't still just come from Toast right?

posted 11 months ago

Question, imagine that happens, do you also consider texture the goat

posted 11 months ago

Really? That's not what was originally reported was it? You might be right tho. In any case, Riot could very well turn an org down if they thought appropriate, specially now that there is precedent

I would think the fact that it is only 1 year now lowers the expectation tho

posted 11 months ago

Well I'm not fully aware of how DSG works, it might have changed, but at least last time I checked it was all money coming from Toast right? What about their sponsors and stuff? Doesn't sound like financially stable org at all, and they do not really compete in anything else either.

Riot has already turned down the guard last year, I'm just wondering where their bar is. At least it's a popular org which I'm sure helps

posted 11 months ago

I'm curious if Riot would be okay with them ascending

posted 11 months ago

Spanish league final was on LAN but he missed it xD

posted 11 months ago

No lan sucks tho

posted 11 months ago

Shyy catching strays

posted 11 months ago

That was resolved long ago, but yes it totally did happen. Players are very happy with the org now tho

posted 11 months ago

Yes it WAS true, for a couple months they had an internal issue. But that was solved long ago and the team is extremely happy with the org now

posted 11 months ago

Unrelated question, does Sin Prisa mean something in Korean? Because in spanish it kinda sounds hilarious

posted 11 months ago

goked had just as much success in tier 2 as Itopata

posted 11 months ago

You mean the third best team in Americas who just added the best duelist and flex in the world

posted 11 months ago

Kru broke their loosing streak last week which means they ain't loosing again in the following 3/4 games

posted 11 months ago

He's not playing 1vs 9 that's literally not what I'm saying tho, there is also some bad teams with good players, nzr and mwzera are also great players yet Furia is shit. keznit is what brings everything together and elevates them

And he already took a kru without heat and shy to champs last year

posted 11 months ago

Yeah I agree, but the team without a duelist like keznit wouldn't be at playoffs rn

posted 11 months ago

Well obviously, my point is a superstar is needed for those teams not to suck
Also kinda different because keznit is like the soul of kru comm wise and I imagine aspas is not but yeah

posted 11 months ago

his teams with any other duelist wouldn't be better than mibr

posted 11 months ago

And yet there is very few people who have attended more internationals than him

posted 11 months ago

careful9?

posted 11 months ago

Hell no, leave the watch parties alone

posted 11 months ago

qw1 is extremely hard to work with and literally just got benched form tier 2
