As of now Optic clears. FNC shouldve lost to LEV in lowers of last tournament and they lost to NA 3 seed in the first game. Optic might lose randoms maps to teams they shouldnt but at the end of the day they almost always win. Also FNC 0 international trophies.

they also lost a ton of ecos and stellar kinda trolled like 4 or 5 rounds on breeze. easily couldve been a 2-0 or 2-1 to 100T i think if they play well against FNC again they should just beat them

I agree that they aren't on par, but i've seen a lot of freaks that actually think EU is close because of the 1 MSI win. MSI this year they got as far as NA did and got stomped even quicker. NA and EU are miles away from LCK and LPL and NA is just KEKW.

EU fluked one MSI in league and people think they are on par with LCK and LPL. Except for a couple world finals NA has basically done what EU has done in terms of international competitions and thats bad cuz NA is trash.

If there were more regions then the gap would spread, but because there isn't i dont think its going to happen. More regions leads to an issue like League, where the top regions (china and korea) dominate because they play against the best every day while the other regions fall behind. If franchising used the same system some smaller regions might have a good team but eventually the entire region would most likely fall behind. 3 regions will contain talent much more than other systems.

If FPX get to like 30 seconds left in an attack round im 100% positive they just roll some dice to find what site they go to. If their afk in spawn default doesnt get info they kinda look lost sometimes.

Other teams can lose a match and keep playing. Top seed cant lose once. They have to give them something other than “more time to prepare”

Way more likely the players move individually, not the teams. Franchising is a system designed to have the same teams be in the top league and moving teams up and down isnt a good idea. A team could be cut from franchising if the consistently play very poorly and have no fanbase, but its very unlikely.

Best players in the world dont stumble for a whole tournament. You cant expect someone to pound every map but derke did not play to best player in the world level for many of their games.

For how insane derke is supposed to be on LAN, he didnt do anything spectacular against the top teams. He played well but he didnt do anything special. In comparison to yay/ardis/forsaken he was average.

I think its close. Optic in a Bo5 is very tough to beat but I also dont know a ton about FPX depth. They have looked competitive on most maps against Fnatic but will that translate idk.

While NA might be a joke in other games I think people underestimate just how big NA orgs are. Even ones you wouldnt think are big have way more money and influence than most orgs around the world.

OW just made a ton of trash decisions. The meta was awful for multiple years, the whole city thing made no sense. They sold out for youtube which people dont want. They banned people for using twitch emotes from their PRO league. Blizzard just ran OWL horribly. LCS is trash because of the quality of gameplay but franchising in league works well, i dont see why VAL wouldnt be the same.

Yeah even though Covid shouldnt just be ignored, Riot is mortified of it way more than they should be. Players in League still have to have masks on all the time they aren't playing and they test like every day. Personally i think they go a bit overboard with the restrictions. Major sports have had crowds for a while now no reason to keep restricting things so much.

Chamber is just a boring character especially on LAN. Hold any angle you want with 0 risk, tp away just to have it 20 seconds later. Gaurdian as a pistol broken OP as an ult. Chamber is a duelist and a sentinel in the same character and makes the game infinitely way more boring.
