It is kinda weird timing to say it's not possible anymore, probably don't want to have potential politic drama/stuff in the future. First players have a nation flag, then city flag, then other types of flags

but doesn't this also mean their prep isn't good?
owner ---- kicked ???
yea, but why not let the #1 play against each other for the qualified spot
its just weird that their spot is based on NIP performance
Top 3 in the first masters, then it went downhill quick. Especially with the new coach they have been ass. Gen G does have a decent performing GC team and did a GC tournament recently, so maybe that helps. I don't think Riot will look at how good a team is now, when partnerships are for a few years. And everything will change in the team with transfers when that new league comes, so they have a better chance of getting better players.
But there are like 5/6 teams that are basically lock in's for NA anyway (SEN, 100T, OpTic, C9, TSM), unlikely they will get in. They have to fight with NRG, XSET, FaZe, V1
source?
Because it just looks pretty seeded. Paper Rex (4) & Leviathan (3) are lowest placed seed play against winner out of groups, Fnatic & XSET are highest against second place, with Fnatic in top because 1st seed and XSET 2nd =bottom. Winner group A in top, winner group B in bottom. Second group B in top and second group A in bottom.
thought that happened based on last season, not just last tournament. Same way Riot decided the amount of teams each region could send, based on last season
Its already top 8, that's not early. It just feels that way because there are not that many teams. The simple swap trick would nullify all reason to have seeds, which brings a bigger issue with it because why would you even care in qualifiers then.
But also people are overreacting because OpTic isn't even guaranteed to win.
But the group with Optic is higher seeded then the other group. Why would XSET deserve it to play against the lower seeded team, when they are second seed behind Fnatic
Yea that's how it can work if the higher seeds don't win/lose their matches, it happens at a World Cup or CL.
just send 1 team of each region then, this is top 8. Top 8 of any sports tournament has same region matchups. Because those regions are often just better an go farther in tournaments, its about quality not cute nation differences
Why is everyone always so upset, do they not follow other sports in knockout tourneys? Do we want cute nation matchups or just the best against the best. If you don't want a NA vs NA top 8 matchup, then OpTic shouldn't have messed up their group stage and get first seed (if they even win against KRU)
they had like 1 day to prepare tbf after shao got approved
3 time with 3 different teams, at least top 8 at a Masters tournament as an IGL. Definitely underrated
He had the highest ACS on defense for icebox. Had the highest FK (7-0!!) and 100% KAST on defense. Which all seems to match with what we have seen in the game. You cant just blame the stats, you need to look better at the stats
Huge upgrade. And another good streamer. Double win
Other teams might as well book their flight home now
can we even call it a curse at this point, or just lack of knowledge
Damn didn't even name the match fixing allegations. Bad Marved hater
Vookashu does the same after he dies everytime, its nothing weird. Just mute volume
I see your point kinda, but its still better then no co streams for growth of the game and viewership. And also official co-streams get paid by Riot i thought, so that kinda give another incentives to not skip it
People like Tarik watching the game gives new viewers the idea to actually play the game. That's the organic growth Valorant wants. More players > more viewers > more players > more viewers
Bad take, that's literally the future of everything. Soon we will see it with real sports matches, people don't want to watch the boring stream when they can watch it with a personality they enjoy
they should import the soniqs players back then
Does a team like Order actually count for Apac, that they can get more then 2 Indonesia, Malaysian etc import players. Or do they need to keep 3 Australians at all times
I don't know what criteria will be important, but surely it won't hurt to be an org with a big fanbase
Maybe last time they play and want to go out with a bang, before franchising. Or Shroud moves to position of co-owner after this. It doesn't really matter who they got for LCQ competitively wise anyway
Can see him just be part owner of Sentinels
Surely they are just playing along with the streamer team critics
cause its about current performance and not taking all time in, then Yay is obviously the most consistent pro
Only switch he will make is to full time streamer
Make a couple threads like "pick your top 5 players from each region" and boom 4 stars
Idk, but that's obviously more realistic then huge buy outs
He was sova/raze on finest and played flex with B8. Surely not an ideal player or upgrade, but there not that many f/a I think
