i have read what you wrote four times and still have no fucking clue what you're saying
edit: now it makes sense. i unironically thought i was having a stroke
i mean of course he hasn't responded yet, the tweet was posted an hour ago, guy's probably scrimming
will be interesting to see what happens if anything
another spanish speaker here. can confirm that the translation is accurate
probably. a t2 talent at a fraction of the cost and recent success >> a t1 veteran that hasn't played a pro game in years and expects a huge bag
JANE REMOVER MENTIONED RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH
charli xcx
brat album of the summer no cap
i'm not necessarily desperate for a guy meowing. i just want promises kept

Give the people what they're owed
tired of 0/8 bait i suppose
the only reason i'm still on is because there's the occasional good discussion (agent balance, vct format, offseason transfer extravaganza), but there's like one good discussion for every nine ragebait trollpost
it's like scrolling through twitter on a new account
When I visited some years ago I was going through an architecture phase. Istanbul has beautiful architecture. The Hagia Sophia and the Cistern Basilica are some obvious but justifiable choices
phoenix is fine.
only change i could think of giving him would be to have his wall extended some amount and/or make it able to go through walls so it's a little easier to use on entry. the neon wall by comparison just reeks of power creep.
also, not every agent needs to be used by the pros. phoenix is a fine soloq agent
same here. my only reason why i prefer the 5th star back vs shorter cooldowns is so it doesn't feel as rough pulling a star back with the current cooldown, since you'd have an extra one in hand. especially on defense if you put down a star and then have to take it away. either way works though
i was an astra one-trick both pre- and post-nerf before pearl and split were rotated out and the nerfs felt even more noticeable, so i just want any reason to start one-tricking her again and not feel slightly handicapped against omen
the believers deserve their flowers. even as a LEV fan i can't help but root for them too
i've been advocating for astra's 5th star back since she had it taken away. they can keep the longer cooldowns, those are fine, but the 5th star would make most maps a LOT more comfortable to play with her without breaking her (i think)
right now she's a comfort pick but omen is objectively better on every map except split and pearl (debatable)
i don't think anyone on earth apart from Trace fans had Trace making it past group stage
big W for them though, literally proving everyone wrong
if it had been double elim no one would be calling lock-in a mickey mouse tournament yeah. FNC winning it in double-elim would've been justifiable since they won the Masters after
in a different world where we didn't have FNC/LOUD cooking, lock-in could've seen the world's flukiest run to a trophy. imagine DFM/MIBR somehow winning and then proceeding to have a horrible league season. i don't think anyone would not call lock-in a mickey mouse tournament then
the VLR cycle
Team goes undefeated -- everything is good in the world
Team loses one match -- everything's cooked, nuke the roster, fire the coach, bring in X, Y, Z
though OP wasn't exactly calling for hiro to leave, it's just a lighthearted comparison. the Cycle would've continued if DRX lost though
-uninstall kovaaks
-straight to ranked
cool tidbit, but i can't help but feel like this is just a trembo bait thread
I'd rather have double sentinels every game than another game of jett/sova/omen/kayo/kj on ascent
i've also heard this -- just a big organizational fuckup, not even the audience's fault
in european football, a team can do super well in the first half of the season, suck ass the second half, and still qualify for Champions League/Europa League.
in american football, a team can do super well in the first half of the season, suck ass in the second half, and still qualify for playoffs even as just a wildcard.
there was no robbery -- they were just good enough to get there even with a stinker of a second half. the other teams should've just won more if they wanted to take that champs spot. it's how sports work
it's not just SEN it's really just every team -- just happens that SEN has the most fans (probably)
the culture around the pro scene in this game is "X team didn't win Champs/X team had a below-average season/X team had one horrible series against another team --> they should nuke the roster and rebuild and they'll definitely win next year"
the meta changes because this is an esport. a team isn't going to magically sweep everything each year because of that, but that doesn't mean that rebuilding the roster every year will fix anything. just look at fnatic.
all these comments saying drop jinggg are only proving OP's point btw.
PRX have made it far in almost every tournament and have choked each time. it's probably a mental block -- which isn't a player problem specifically. more likely a coaching problem or a lack-of-mental-support problem. they dropped Benkai for Something and very nearly lost jinggg anyway and they're still going through these problems.
Honestly understandable rankings
I don't really watch costreams though. I'm the kind to watch and enjoy the original commentary and then if I want any analysis I watch a Youtube analysis video
I would fully agree but APAC was the only region left that hadn't hosted a Champions. EMEA had Berlin and Istanbul and Americas had LA. (Not counting Masters obviously.) Apart from that yeah the times for us have kinda sucked this year. But maybe next year will be better
wait so i only just recently became reinvested in val esports, you're telling me all this primmie hype has come from three whole matches?
they also said apeks win ascension last season and then they fumbled catastrophically
not saying i disagree but anytime someone misses a scrim people just jump to saying they were dropped lol. he could honestly just be visiting family or something. don't trust anything not from the org or the players
it's not your english, it's just written weirdly
You're kinda right about OpTic by franchising terms specifically, but their shady practices are what made Riot dislike the org (at least from what little I know about what happened between them)
Gambit willingly let their team walk and form M3C because of the politics in the region. If Gambit were truly shitty (imo) they could've kept their players in contract hell
idk i just said EDG would top the group because i thought it'd be funny. don't watch them enough to actually know how they'd do
EG and OpTic will always be known as the shittiest orgs to have won a Val tournament
Shittiest not as in team quality, but shittiest as in how the orgs are run. Both teams thrown under the bus at their peak and permanently broken
Sad
prestige stars where every time you reach 4 stars you go back to 0 and also get banned for a week
i think he only read "best" meta and not "best/worst"
Best -- probably this one just for the agent variety. you never saw yoru/phoenix ever used back then
Worst -- either double wall or fade/chamber. if we're going by map metas then ascent is boring and stale and makes wish the map had been taken out and left to rot instead of fracture
nah, that's boring, i like the chaos of picking off of vibes and occasionally getting them right
i put fnatic getting grouped because it'd be funny if they did
how does this affect lebron's legacy
Please explain why Ascent is your clear favorite map or how much you're being paid to keep it in the pool
It's gotten so stale and boring to play. Basically a solved map. Can't have fun when the enemy team plays Jett/Sova/Omen/Kayo/KJ (or slightly varied comp) every game. Attacking feels like hell all the time, and defending also feels like hell most of the time.
Fracture hasn't been seen since the last Champions tournament. Pearl had a rework but was taken out and is only now coming back, and I don't even remember what was reworked because it was so long ago. Lotus is being taken out despite being the 3rd newest map. Split has been taken out and come back 3 times now?
But Ascent is seemingly never being touched. I'm so bored of it.
(inb4 they take out Abyss next rotation btw)
if you're concerned about unprofessionalism in esports then wait till you see the teams' social media lmao
personally i didn't even notice the collar, i was more interested in his analysis
The formatting of the leagues is really dubious
Alpha and Omega grouping system is bad
Give us a full table back rito
