I don't think tgrd roster would fault saya for returning home for the most prolific org in esport. Look at ardiis or sscary, they are still friends with their old teammates(current teammates in ardiss case) despite clearly leaving for money even though both roster were the top roster of their region(fpx) and country(xerxia). I dont think tgrd will fault saya for leaving them when they are not even in tier1 when he left.

In the end most player will choose money, its not that deep

posted 4 months ago

No shit, prx is the only top team that keeps its players.

posted 4 months ago

Not necessarily. Geng can lose and goes through points if PRX is top 3. What im worried is it Geng did lose and PRX is as petty as what the haters says and decide to throw two matches to knock geng out

posted 4 months ago

No, ts is only guaranteed qualification if top 3 are drx prx and geng, otherwise they need to reach top 3. so if rrq beats geng and finish 3rd it will be prx drx rrq and geng (assuming ts finish 4th)

posted 4 months ago

Geng might throw so they face rrq instead. They seem to really like knocking out rrq lmao

Indonesia is only a bit richer with 1/5th of the population yet they field a team that made it into champions (Boom), the Star player of the previous GE in monyet, and Forsaken and Mindfreak.

Its actually just skill issue

posted 4 months ago

Combination of two factors

It could be argued that pacific top teams are more consistent than americas and emea top teams (whatever sen was doing split1, loud disappearing after kick off, 100t rn, KC and Navi breaking down) . Meanwhile the only inconsistent top team in Pacific top 6 is GenG with their 3 loses in split 1

But also yes, now that Furia and MIBR have improved , outside the top 7(T1 is ok) Pacific probably have the weakest bottom four teams.

posted 4 months ago

The Funniest thing about pacific playoff is its basically a russian roulette on which team face off against a peer competitor and which one faces geng

The case against furia :

https://www.vlr.gg/289452/global-esports-vs-furia-convergence-2023-d3

Lost to GE with a sub. Yes it's offseason both we wont see a real match between both teams anw.

posted 5 months ago

Sen in americas would have qual'd to Shanghai if they were in another group. Switch GenG with PRX on the groups and they wouldn't have qual'd. Geng lost to RRQ and T1 in APAC, they are as burned out as sentinel in the regular season

posted 5 months ago

Fnc cant win a title without Leo(their best player) . KC is completely lost. Fut is Fut. All regions are now 1 team regions. Its just going to be Geng vs TH vs Sen vs FPX with maybe PRX

India already have a op crutch choker that can sometimes takeover games, why import a Finnish version?

posted 5 months ago

Iirc he said he wont leave this season. But that is moot as its likely T1 will kick autumn after a frankly disgraceful season and go full korean

posted 5 months ago

Rossy is 100% going back to NA after a great performance in T1, might as well use the remaining matches to choose which player is T1 keeping since their season is over anw

posted 5 months ago

Jp did not deserve two teams. The other spot should have gone to OCE or sea(Boom/Bleed/Another Thai team) or even a fourth KR team.

Akshually they went to a champions and had a very memorable moment(the rope incident)

Warbirds is arguably one of the best coach in pacific. His anti strats were really good, the problem was his only world class player is Invy(and Jremy sometimes) with wildereo he could have qualified to champs ngl.

Massive TS L

posted 5 months ago

That's exactly why they are low. Teams like PRX, Loud, FNC , DRX and EDG are very good in that tourney meaning EG was not that dominant. They even lost once in that tourney, something GENG and FNC didn't do in their win

posted 5 months ago

They went 3-2 actually. But yes i thought they went 4-1 because i just remembered the BBL lost. So we are both wrong.

But assuming they have the same record(they did not) , that is no argument to say which league is more top heavy, and also kept in mind the woot patitek th never played in EMEA.

The rest of the things you say are just assumptions. Drx actually beat geng once unlike fnatic (that doesn't mean they are better mind you, but thats the only point of comparison we got) . Fut vs T1 is the only objective thing there as both teams run into Lev, and one of them finished 6th. But keep in mind T1 is 7th on the table are only in Shanghai because they, unlike any EMEA team can actually beat GENG.

BBL, VIT, TL is better than Talon RRQ and TS? According to whom? None of those teams will ever play each other and comparing them is just based on assumptions. Our only point of comparison is comparing when the teams they play which are PRX and Geng. Both teams have 100% win rate against emea teams(top teams mind u) , but Geng in particular have barelu above 50% win rate vs Pacific teams. Does it means Pacific midtable is better than EMEA ? Not definitively, but its certainly better than "everyone knows"

posted 5 months ago

Im just happy benkai and blazeking (also polvi) performed today, that should shut those toxic haters that hates on the non Indian.

posted 5 months ago

No rebuttal just name calling, classic.

Yes i watch emea , the schedule is nice for me to watch before sleep. If anything i don't watch most Americas match.

"MY EYE TEST SAYS EMEA IS GOOD" Is not a reliable way of determining a regions strength, it's biased and extremely unreliable. The fact you base your assumptions on that just show how uneducated you are, as anyone who have written any paper will know that eye test means nothing at all.

posted 5 months ago

Geng is 3-3 in pacific, Prx also lost in pacific. Drx with the best record in pacific actually did not go to international event. To put this in perspective, Geng is 10-1 in international

If anything EMEA is more top heavy with TH with their roster instability still dominating most teams. Navi was crushed multiple times. KC fell ott. Fut plays too deranged to actually be a good team, i have no idea why fnc is crumbling.

Sure outside of MIBR and Furia, Pacific have the 4 worst team, but when the 7th placed team (RRQ) beats Geng, and the 6th(TS) stomped PRX the mid table is not that bad. I can see an argument that Americas is better in the midtable(but they have the 2 worst teams) but not EMEA

posted 5 months ago

All im hearing is excuses. EDG beat PRX in madrid, but KC which is hyped to win the tournament and TH with home advantage couldn't. U seen how shit EDG is in Shanghai so thats a. Massive L

Fnatic(super experienced btw) won a total of 0 international game this season

TH only win outside of CN team is G2. (For what it's worth i think they are a decent team) edit : i forgot about 100t

posted 5 months ago

Bleed with y0y also lost to global

posted 5 months ago

0 playoff team in madrid , only beating cn and other EMEA team other than G2 in Shanghai lmao.

Emea won a total of 0 time against pacific this season

posted 5 months ago

Imagine if we have MIBR vs Furia at the same day(the actual two worst team in franchising outside of china) and some bottom tier Emea teams. And we force sideshow to commentate all of them. Would be the best day in Valorant history

Kick off NRG was ok. Split 1 NRG speedran its way to the collapse part of a super team cycle and finished dead last in their group. They are not the same

posted 5 months ago

Because its a massive upgrade compared to the previous roster? Any NRG fan would be happy that NRG actually plays like a solid team, they just lack firepower. Instead of the 5 dudes walkin to site style of last time this nrg looks much better

posted 5 months ago

This roster have the same amount of win as GE last year with texture and monyet. And they still have half a season in a more competitive league and they achieved it with less budget. What more do you want?

posted 5 months ago

Blazeking and Russ have the exact same rating in split1. Russ was igling sure, but this team is full of IGLs anyway. Funny thing about Blazeking is he has +15 fk/fd overall. He has the skill to takeover a game but also have extremely bad games. Russ is just consistently ok. It really depends on what you prefer i suppose.

Im just biased against an import even though he's technically not an import.

posted 5 months ago

Roster getting nuked again 100%. Pity, lightningfast and blazeking are the only 2 player worth keeping and now 1 od them probably want go to leave. On the plus side they might go full indian then.

posted 5 months ago

Blazeking actually needs PR training. Didn't he randomly swears in a interview?

But Mimosa is once again trying to get someone to lose their job. And considering blazeking is the best/second best player on their team this will be funny ngl.

I hope GE goes 5 Indians next year. Would help the SA scene and provide 2023 KC tier comedy.

Miniboo international winrate is 0%

posted 5 months ago

This. Last year's roster could have competed if not led by absolute idiots. In hindsight, they have a masters winner, a regional winner who also finished 3rd Internationally, a top 8 champs player, the best/second best player of their team this year , Bazzi and Skrossi. If they are the second worse team with that roaster then they should either nuke the coaching staff or play for clout.

They cannot qualify with last years roaster then what chance do they have with p0lvi.(I dont get why they import him when garnets/stew or some korean/russian frying in the Japanese league is right there) might as well bring back Skrossi.

posted 5 months ago

Meiy, Invy, Dep, Nats, Cloud, Aspas,Less this season

Hot take : Leo and Kang Kang this season arguably are the only ones performing to their teams standard respectively and are by definition held back.

The fight was basically a misunderstanding that devolves into racism. Tenten thought flip is being racist to the Japanese (or korean by basically calling him to go back to anime. Its like saying the Japanese and the Korean are the same) , turns out he is calling him a weeb. It was horrible but with context it is not worth losing a job(probably a suspension or two) . Mimosa intentionally cut the context to farm outrage.

posted 5 months ago

That mimisa prophet person on twitter is the worst. Blud is toxic but got someone to lost their job over online toxicity. He/she literally created the Geng/RRQ rivalry over some toxic fight between a Indonesian and a Korean. And he/she is also toxic, as shown by calling benkai a fraud.what a hypocrite.

posted 5 months ago

Hazard was a top player for a longtime. Yay's career only last a year and a half. Also hazard played well in Belgium. And hazard was never the best in the game(thats still messi and ronaldo at the time). The comparison doesn't make sense

posted 5 months ago

Lets start with the obvious : points

PRX, GENG are basically guaranteed a spot in champions through points. The only chance of both teams not making champs is if both teams finish outside playoff top 3. In that case only one of them will make it depending on who have more points. But lets be real that wont happen

DRX : Technically T1 and Talon could overtake DRX in points if both teams won all of their remaining matches and DRX loses all their remaining matches. But if DRX wins 4 more matches in league play or playoff they are basically guaranteed to go to champs unless PRX and/or GenG finish outside of the playoffs top 3. max point of their closest competitor : talon/t1 can get if they finish outside the top 3 is 10(if they finish top3 they are not considered for points)

So PRX, GenG and DRX are basically guaranteed to go to champions unless atleast 2 out of 3 of them completely fumbles the season.

T1/Talon/RRQ : they basically can only qualify through points if the top 3 are PRX,DRX and Geng. Points dont really matter for the other teams.

Playoffs qualification conditions :

Talon are basically guaranteed playoffs as they only need 2 more wins and the play DFM and Zeta

RRQ are likely going to playoffs as they get to play DFM and Zeta and 1 more match between drx, PRX and Talon to be guaranteed a place in playoffs. If they dont then likely there will be a tiebreaker with TS/T1

TS are likely going to playoffs. They need to win 2 out 3 matches between GENG (nope) , T1 and GE. The T1 match in particular is very important as winning it basically guarantees them a spot unless a zeta miracle happens.

T1 dont have a guaranteed qualification scenario as the max win they can get is 5. However if they beat secret and secret loses to geng/ge then they will have a tiebreaker with TS and whichever other team finish with 5 wins(likely RRQ)

Zeta and GE needs to win all their remaining matches

Dfm and Bleed are basically out

Tldr : PRX and GenG are basically guaranteed to go to champions. DRX are likely to go to champions. Talon are basically guaranteed a spot in playoffs, RRQ and TS are likely going to playoffs, T1 might make it to playoff. The rest probably wont make it.
