I misread the changes part, so i edited that out but I think u missed it before I did.
FPX have been chokers on the international stage, but that doesn't mean their regional accomplishments mean nothing now, especially considering how underwhelming china was on the international stage this year. I agree roster changes could help, but choosing to overhaul more than half the roster instead of working on developing players, especially for a top team in the region just seems absurd.

I think there should be much more room for ascension teams, but franchising helps esports be less risky for orgs which is huge because of how risky esports is as an investment
FPX is another one that changed/ is playing in a different region, so is dsg with T2, Team liquid and a bunch of other teams also have gc rosters in different regions
