It's quite an interesting list ngl, haven't seen someone have eminence in shadow that high up before, and yes hell's paradise probably one the most underrated series of all time

The only controller who has the perfect balance of playmaking and support at the controller role, omen has the most versatile play style range of any agent in the game and he's not the Hardest agent to pick up in the controller role especially considering the easier controllers come with severe drawbacks to their smoking capabilities (brim doesn't have rechargeable smokes, the rest of clove's kit isn't that versatile) and the other more complex controllers don't offer much by the way of individual playmaking outside of lurks (u can't capitalize of ur own astra util, viper is viper and harbour is walls, walls and more walls with imo the worst versatility in the game)

Omen on the other hand is the only agent who can play of his own ulti consistently and not fall of on the support front, oh and having the best nearsight in the game doesn't hurt

But we saw Skye be the meta last year (I mean 2023), and riot Nerfed her into the ground for that reason, and i don't see them reverting her flash nerf

Ik it's been ages but sick takes both pheonix and sage for me, his sage Play was incredible and imo still hasn't been bested, pheonix is a bit more in the air tho

Well it's a problem with scan abilities in general, any info on enemy positions is incredibly powerful in any game, apex was dominated by scan legends for a long time, and multiple successive nerfs we're required to bring down Their power.

And sova just happens to be the best scan agent in the game, if Sova did not exist, we'd be having this discussion abt fade, but sova simply outclasses her on every front with the exception of their entry-by-proxy ulti maybe, and the other agents can't take info as well as he can, both in terms of quality and quantity. As long as scans and info tools exist in a game where info matters they will be powerful (bloodhound/seer in AL, ashe in LOL, widow/sombra in OW, ETC)

Everyone u mentioned here, with the exception of Keiko maybe, were still S tier world class Players, seemingly only problem being they weren't on top 4 teams this year

2024 was insane for rookies, especially considering how we got demon1, something, s0m, etc last year, this year we had atleast 4-5 star rookies breakout form each region (other than china, but i expect this to change soon) and this was across a variety of roles too, say a Player is not top tier cause their team is dogshit is not doing justice to their performance

For example, let's take 2024 fnatic vs G2 on haven but with a 2 agent pick ban

Fnatic - Sova (meta ban)
G2 - iso (target ban)
Fnatic - viper(target ban)
G2 - cypher ban( meta ban, but a target ban in this case)

Never was a big fan of latam/Brazil, not that i had the chance to watch any pre franchising, but loud was pretty much the only brazilian team I knew back then (with the exception of keys stars and heat), and was i an active hater, from Reykjavik 22 to champs 22 to lock in to champs 23, i would always root against them just cause they were the teams i knew the least, the lock in crowd , taking 22 champs from fnatic (in my dumbass head atleast) and the other brazilian teams being dog definitely didn't help that hate lol

But now that this legendary core is disbanding, with less and saadhak leaving, aspas already gone and sacy retiring, ican't help but look back and feel just a little sad and nostalgic abt this core

And so i would like to Thank the loud core , for giving us the lock in finals, one of the best rivalries in valorant history in loud v optic/nrg, for being one of the best and most entertaining teams to watch through out 2022 and 2023, and form me personally for opening my mind to Brazilian/LATAM valorant, I hope these guys find success In whatever they do in their futures (also hope pancada can finally show how good of a player he really is)

And then there are regions where the sheer quantity and quality of talent is way higher than that of their rival regions, Turkey and Indonesia are the regions that really stick out to me, honestly it suprises me as to why there are more Indonesian but especially more Turkish Players in T1
