i very much so think there is "basis" by literally looking at 50% of his rounds. Half the time bro doesnt know what the fuck is going on in the game. You can tell with the way the team plays around him that he isnt comfortable having the team all lurk around and do their own thing. He wants to be able to micromanage but 1, he sucks at it, and 2, it holds back the insane mechanical talent of the team.
The intangibles mightve been good but i mean we saw 0 glimpses of his help morale wise and we cant really contribute any anti to him since none of his team has credited that.
You can even tell with the way the team talks about him that they really dont know what to commend him on. Marved literally said "Hes good" and didnt know what else to say. He then said "Dephh always tries things and doesnt get demoralized", yet we always see him static in the rounds not taking any map space and waiting for his opponents to peek even tho they wont

He sucks at everything he does. Sometimes he has flashes of brilliance but everyone would much rather an average igl than one that more so that not is nonexistent and is just a detriment to the team both on strats and on execs

tbf tho its leaf doing a ton of the work and the player quality and awareness on that teams allows him to work much less than how he was on soniqs where he probably had to micromanage a lot

its not a matter of marved or anyone else playing well. Its a matter of if dephh calls well and doesnt get lost mid round over and over again and if he can actually get kills in the double digits consistently on every map played.

thats questionable, their opposition has been really shaky every single week. Loud were the most solid and even then it looked like loud were just kinda going through the movements and werent really there to win

C9 have gotten better and better but sen literally had 1 week to play with each other. I think favourites are SEN but again as i said if dephh is gonna keep dragging down his team then i dont see sen winning

why wouldnt fns be a good igl? His calling is far superior to dephh and so is his fragging. FNS is a proven igl time and time again, dephh on the otherhand igled on the attack half and wasnt even the one with the larger role.
Dephh somehow manages to put up numbers tenz does in his worst games but in ALL of his games. Dephh will have 1 mediocre ass map where he manages double digits but then hell have more where he literally is dragging the team down. There is no question that he isnt a tier 1 level igl, there are many more that are better than him.
Can the team succeed with him? Yes of course if he improves they could easily be the best team in the world, however there are definitely other options they couldve gone for had bias and nepotism not been involved in the decision of who would be picked up.

Its so sad to see the last remaining piece of the iceland roster be put to rest (effectively). Sen were the team that got me into valorant and they were the ones that kept me watching. They were such a dominant team yet somehow they were always so fun and tense to watch. Theyd start throwing rounds and youd question if they would be able to close the game out or not but they always did in the end. Each individual player is so visible on the map while playing cause of how known their personalities are. Sen just always looked like they had the most fun while playing and you could feel that from watching them.
Ive been supporting sen since before tenz but even though thats the case i still love to watch their games even with just him from the original roster. Now that hes gone its cemented the fact that its a completely different team. When I was watching both the loud and the MIBR games, that same emotion from every sen game i watched was missing. I love these new guys cause all of them are insane players and great people (yea even dephh, tho not sure abt the good player part) but it just aint the sen i used to know. Ill be supporting them still cause theyre great players but Sen literally went from bar none my favourite team by a mile to probably just another team ill root for on the side.
FNCs style just doesnt seem as creative as it used to, it just kinda looks textbook now so they arent that fun to watch anymore even tho theyre really good.
DRX were one of the most entertaining teams but they used to have on and off games, now they dont even show glimpses anymore of the DRX that looked like theyd be able to beat any team in the world
Optic aint even a thing anymore and even in their last few games you could see their age and how they were all starting to fall off.

I dont think as of right now SEN can be said to be number 1 cause they looked way too shaky against a 100T that barely adapted to anything. The next week match most likely will determine no. 1 NA for the most part of the season. Sad part is that SEN has the top 5 teams in the league against them in their first 5 matches, its ridiculous

fracture just got a rework, the only problematic and hated map that hasnt gotten anything in ages is Icebox. Ascent doesnt really have any problems at all and its just such a classic staple map

what are you talking about, every part of that map has so many issues. A site isnt as bad but thats it, the rest of the map is complete dog shit and almost unplayable especially if you arent running meta comps. Its definitely getting removed if riot are thinking straight

definitely not, I dont even think they were that good on it much less compared to FNCs insane haven. FNC are still a little inconsistent and shaky but when they are on their game i dont think any team in the world right now would be able to beat them on that map

on their good maps they definitely arent overrated, it was just that in lockin they didnt have a deep enough pool yet. They play such strategically sound valorant that its crazy not more teams have reached this level sooner. They remined me of a super refined Sentinels and while sentinels still had a few holes here and there and threw every once in a while LEV cover EVERYTHING up. On top of that they have really great reads from Onur and their economic management is world class. The only issue now is that imo their new players are worse than their old ones

i really dont think they can. Their core of 3 are just so lacking in gamesense that its a wonder they were able to make tier 1. Jawgemo still has his moments but Com and Boostio are beyond me, they wouldnt even be able to perform at a consistent level in tier 2. They need to drop Com and Boostio pick up some actual tier 1 players.
I liked them in challengers last year but they are definitely not suited to tier 1, they have bench players that are better than their main roster

i dont know about the others but you guys need to realize that just because the opposing team played poor doesnt mean your team cant have played well.
TS are a good team but there is no doubt that PRX and especially talon and TL were playing like straight dog shitters down the toilet bowl. They looked worse than tier 2. Again doesnt mean that TS played bad or are bad, their opponents just lost the game regardless of how well TS played.
This win against PRX shouldnt have even been this close honestly, the way TS were playing against TL they shouldve definitely closed it out way sooner than 11-13 on all the maps

They only play for the qualification in regionals, the only time they were serious was when their team got nerfed and they were forced to try and they got 1st place
