nah its more just a popularity poll honestly and somehow SEA and BR just havent gotten through yet to the majority north-western audience

posted about 2 years ago

yes he 100% is, but ofc the ppl that watch val are idiot 10 year olds that dont understand what the fuck makes a good player, so this list is honeslty not surprising. Its more like a popularity poll honestly

posted about 2 years ago

Imagine no.24 better than No.1 just less popular

posted about 2 years ago

Its crazy how ignorant the west are to SEA or just asia players in general I cant believe NOT A SINGLE ONE is on the list esp after champions. Im disappointed.

lol, he could buy their entire livevs off of his cs earnings alone

xD dude its so funny how ppl mald at everything this guy says cause that one time a decade ago the dude got mad profits off of a rigged match
Calm your tits no one cares that shit is irrelevant in internet times, literally the only ppl that still talk abt it are the ones that just cant mature for their lives. Just move on man

posted about 2 years ago

even more sad cause of the fact that the dude said he was trolling

posted about 2 years ago

No i mean in terms of playerbase it isnt "dead" cause that would be quite hard to achieve for a game like CS, but it definitely has dropped a large majority of concurrent players than that of its prime. So in a sense its fallen off. The E-sports scene however is still smth that a lot of former players watch till this day thats why it still gets a lot of views

The favourites are for sure The Guard but I really wanna see sen win so i can remain hopeful for their return to Iceland, or even honestly just hope for their improvement in the future.
Also I dont remember the last time Tenz was playing online on rlly low ping so hopefully the guys crazy and reckless plays will start working better and hopes to less whiffed jett knives

posted about 2 years ago

I honestly dont think its a matter of playing loosely or not having strats or whatever I really genuinely think that Tenz is the big problem here. FIrst off 0 agent pool, that isnt exactly a problem on its own but that means he needs to be consistent. Secondly, he isnt consistent, regardless of ping or map or getting counterstrated or hes just having a bad game, the guy just isnt consistent enough. Thirdly, His playstyle is easily readable and constantly being countered and he isnt able to switch it up. He plays the same way in every game and it gets read so easily that it becomes really easy to counter, ofc hell find the occasional inhuman plays where hell just quickly pick 2 off instantly but that isnt always the case.
If tenz wants to stay on the team he needs to fix at the very least one of these problems. Anyone of them getting fixed would improve his performance by so much as well as teh teams. Rn it feels like SEN is a 4 man team with a really flamboyant entry, but if tenz either gets better in regards to consistency, or agent pool, or playstyle, theyll easily be able to not make all the plays around him and theyll be able to set up more strats, counterplays, util combos, site takes, and many more.

wait but why does that matter? I feel like this is just unnecessary hate towards such a kind and genuine person for literally doing nothing wrong. Ppl that are good at the game get popular not because theyre entertaining but because of their mechanics. I dont think that there has ever been a point in shrouds streaming career where his streams were actually consistently entertaining. Ppl just kept watching him cause he was good, thats it

posted about 2 years ago

deffo isnt a fragger tho and all the times ive seen him on knives were just quite good, nothing amazing. Deffo is an entry he gets space for his team so i wouldnt put him in the same category as ppl like tenz and neon

Yea but do you really think theyll keep this roster if they finish last in their group?

You guys think theyre gonna drop their Subroza Wardell core? I feel like thats the thing that might be losing them games, they have too much influence over all the different members theyve had on their team so far and it might actually lead to disrespect of the IGL by not following comms or maybe even just throwing all together to feed ego.
I honestly wouldnt be too surprised

posted about 2 years ago

I dont think deffo is on par with cned sure but he still is insanely cracked, hes def top 10 players in EMEA arguably top 5.
Also he isnt a weak link imo, just because he isnt the top of his role doesnt make him a detriment to the team

posted about 2 years ago

thats like saying steel wasnt a weak link for 100t cause he was an igl.
Being an igl doesnt give you an excuse to play poorly, take Shahz the man is one of the greatest igls and he is still constantly top 2 in almost all the matches for SEN

If you think hes wrong then youre a crybaby thatll try to pin anything as the reason they lost a duel. 10vs40 ping is literally unnoticeable to any real human, if youre talkin 50 and above sure you have a point but when referring to specifically ping around the 40 range, it isnt noticeable at all. This is coming from someone who has had experience in competitive games in most of which i played at the highest ranks, in fact id say that ping is more important in other games than it is in valorant cause in valorant the ping doesnt pile up with every little thing you do which will put you at a disadvantage. I've even played in immort 3 with 80 ping cause i just felt like choosing a different server and it was not even that big of a problem i got 22/18 on astra and won the game 13:8

I mean i would love to say wardell or shahz but after seeing cned destroy Liquid i mean its quite clear

I feel like its just a matter of people dont think that far in a ranked match, cause in the better teams in pro play it doesnt seem like running the op really does anything for the side and most times just sets them even further behind the opponents. As long as you take active measure to counter it and make sure you identify the rounds that the opponents could be running op and use strategies like rotations and fakes as well as defaulting it usually seems to be easy to deal with. Once you close the distance it isnt as scary anymore

tf ur trolling, i think they can run double duelist comp on split the only thing is i feel like they just really dont need to run any senti as long as they have viper
so they have
Tenz: Reyna/Jett
Sick: Raze/Skye
Dapr: Viper
Zombs: Astra
Shahz: Skye if Sick runs raze or Jett if he doesnt, possibly also CHAMBER eeeh???

nah easily having played both games it was so easy getting to the highest league and getting in the top 100 every single tourney. The thing with BRs is if you know how to gain good loot creating a path where you can do that while simultaneously hiding and being smart about engagements, it doesnt matter if your builds are good youll easily win, and if you dont win youll easily get into top 10 and if you have half decent builds will guaranteee you in the top 8-4
In valorant on the otherhand its a lot more difficult since you need to be able to have the team coordination and have the skills to be able to carry and play extremely well. In valorant since the maps and positions are much smaller than in fortnite and you cant just build yourself some cover every tiny position you move to from 1m away from a box to 3m away from a box could be the difference maker to a round, the way you jiggle peek, the way you react to how the opponents move. Every little thing you have to take into account, thinking of all that id definitely say that valorant is waaaaay harder than fortnite

no im pretty sure that any definition of healthy would still be in favour of EU, cause even in terms of salary eu players still get a sizeable amount. Though most likely you would define the health of a scene by its support as well as competition and i would definitely say that EU rn definitely has more of that

posted about 2 years ago

no they definitely do, they have an environment in which there is a lot more practice to help the smaller teams really find what things they need to improve on. These frequest tournaments also help the stronger teams cuase they can maintain adapt and fine tune their strategies, so all in all they do have a better environment for competitive and its no wonder NA performed so poorly seeing as they havent played a tourney in ages and EU just finished the redbull cup

i do agree that tenz needs to become more consistent and also his maps against liquid and kru (other than split against kru) were actually pretty good, even when he wasnt getting kills he got a load of info and he still entried for them. Split on the otherhand it just felt like a 4v5 and that last round play with the flash wouldve gotten him back in the game i feel. Maybe Tenz is just bad on split cause i dont think ive seen him ever pop off on that map after he joined SEN. Also hes been practicing the op and its very clear how its still very raw and its not the greatest, id say next tourney once hes better on the op he'll get more comf on split and the team will finally be able to focus on high level strats instead of fixing team comps before the biggest tourney
