Oh, that's my bad. When you said you don't see why there is Korean crowd disrespect, it looked like you didn't know why the crowd was being disrespectful. That's my fault. But from what I've heard, the weather in Korea isn't good either, it also is a busy place regarding transportation and the hustle needed in the streets, and I would assume that they too will face the work problem during the grand finals.
Heartbreak happens for everybody, it just shouldn't be the reason you leave the arena and ignore the competition entirely. I absolutely get it. LOUD were about to win in front of their home crowd in dominant fashion and shit the bed. It's unlucky. I don't get the staff kicking y'all out tho. That's wack asf
I mean could you name FIVE genuinely good reasons as to how the Korean Crowd is worse? The Brazil crowd was MUCH more biased than the Korean crowd and while the seats did empty out, that couldn't compare to the sheer disrespect shown during the grand finals when LOUD let FNATIC win an unwinnable map on Icebox. You talk about "Hate in Br crowd" but this is literally my first time seeing someone complain about the Korean crowd. Be fr bro, your crowd was wack af and there is a reason they aren't coming back LMAO
Yeah, I agree. Thankfully they didn't lose EVERY anti-eco, but they put themselves in situations where it was high risk or Sentinels were able to get some good damage in.
So yeah, I agree in the aspect that it's a simple solution with a bit of vod review and implementation via scrimming, practice, etc. Also, true. Nobody's midrounding saves them alot. I've been really impressed with Nobody's calling and how far he has come as an individual. He would either single-handedly win or lose EDG rounds last year, and now he's their IGL and making AND calling amazing plays. Big props.
Not the take LMAO. I agree that their game against Gen. G doesn't speak volumes as many would agree that Gen. G definitely was not playing well. I wouldn't entirely call it a fluke win and even then, they slammed DRX convincingly in the opening match of playoffs. Sentinels were still playing somewhat well against EDG, just ran out of fuel is all.
I mean Sentinels still won the first map. The adaptation wasn't there and while yes that is partly due to them losing to themselves, I wouldn't discredit EDG entirely. The calling from Nobody on both Lotus and Sunset was insane and they played well.
My only issue with EDG was the way they handled anti-eco rounds. I felt they needed to work on that and Sentinels abused their bad habits well. In the end tho, I think EDG did great and there's no need to discredit either team.
i have plushies and i follow none of those people or stereotypes LOL
Mmm, I don't see how they're the "sweatiest tryhards in VCT." Is this because of Fr0st's way of coaching + scrimming? I think the team themselves are pretty loose and if they WERE as sweaty as you claim them to be, surely they'd be way more disciplined, no? I wouldn't say they're cooked as they still have a chance with their roster but depending on any of the roster changes, they will struggle a bit.
I don't think Warbirds would be terrible but I don't think he is someone that fits their team. However, I hella agree with d00mbr0s. I think he'd be an amazing coach for them given their flexibility and playstyle. Here's to hoping Talon only goes up from here.
It's not so much that they're not the answer, i just don't know how you would bring out their full potential. As much as Fr0sT was a seemingly decent coach despite all the drama and hot takes, I don't think he had a clear answer for their communication errors and their many many MANY throws. So I think a new coach wouldn't be the worst option but I don't know any credible coaches that are good enough to coach them in english OR in Thai and bring them consistently to international events unless one of the top coaches switch.
I think Ban is good for their mental and he's a smart and clutch player. Governor is a bit questionable in terms of consistency so I'll give you that. With a full thai roster, you have to wonder if there's any good thai coaches that are actually good and in the market. The only good coach i can think of atm is cbbk but he's Full Sense's coach and they're favorites to win Ascension.
Probably gonna mention 2023 NaVi and Team Liquid. NaVi was a huge letdown as they failed to incorporate cned who was still pretty good for someone that missed a year of tier 1 play. On the other hand, TL had a fairly balanced and cracked roster that ended up being executed poorly. I mean- Sayf duelist was already enough, but everyone else on their proper roles as well.
Side Note : I'm down to agree that the team was probably still somewhat weak on paper, but at least from what I saw, a lot of people had high expectations for this roster and it ended up being a huge flop. Especially after the fact that they beat FNATIC and then ended up just being a major letdown in Champs.
EDIT - Oh and we're not gonna forget that god awful performance at Lock-In. That actually might be one of, if not the most, utterly disgusting and disappointing performances put on by a top tier team.
the one thing i was always curious about was whether or not Surf would be placed into their team. idk who he'd replace / what role he'd play. I think Governor and JitboyS stay on their respective roles, and they take out lenne, let crws call and play smokes, then ban and surf play initiator and / or flex. Apart from that, i dont see what the point of adding surf was
ban hate? lenne and crws are obv their worst players. they dont got the firepower or the calling (this is coming from a TALON fan)
