They certainly aren’t struggling in NA, but they are a budget EU team (I think that EU has the best read of the game and that’s why I like 100T). There’s no chance they do well at masters, and I’m not positive that they qualify.

Yoru’s ult is the best part of his kit and since the map is so huge it’s easy to hide in areas that are too far apart from each other for the ult to see in order to really limit the info gained from it. Phoenix ult is still just better, as well as being cheaper and having the blaze wall to take space aggressively on attack or on retakes.
I value the turret really highly, and the alarm bot is also pretty good, since there are a lot of lanes to cover on defense or for postplant on attack. The ult can easily stall pushes still, and a lot of teams use it to delay retakes anyways. Covering up be stir with KJ util and playing really heavy for mid and retaking that site just seems excellent to me.

On any given day I could watch more EU and pick a new 5 best players, the region is simply too deep to distill down to a set 5 IMO.

The main problem with KJ is that she feels bad to play because of the range, idc if they need her in another way, but changing how the range works or affects her abilities just feels fucking awful.
Yeah he’s not even the best player on SEN and likely wouldn’t be on C9 either
No range alarm bot would make her wayyyyy better on attack, making her on par with cypher IMO. She is not impactful on attack because of the range requirements, and feels 100% worse to play when compared to cypher rn.

You want to distribute spots by giving at least one per region, followed by results based spots, and maybe you can factor in playerbase as well, not just for money if you care at all about the game being a good eSport.

Anyone that watches regions other than NA knows that NA is way below the level of the worst teams in the EMEA qualifier for masters. Watch EU and BR before you talk about the play of NA compared to the rest of the world.

In regards to NA being shit: watch other regions, we are the 3rd best major region, and that's only because KR doesn't have a huge playerbase. They have taken over every game they get into, when they do it'll happen in this game too.
From watching SEN earlier, I don't think they deserve to make Iceland in their current form. They looked extremely sloppy during their qualifying matches and just coasted on aim. If they shape up in the closed qualifier then I will revisit and see what I think after.

Yo NA homies, STFU and watch some EU, BR, and the other regions before commenting. At the very least listen to Plat Chat Valorant since they do the watching and the analysis for you.
It’s hot that hard to do a little research in order to figure out that NA’s play is way below both EU and BR and at least KR as well (I haven’t watched CIS/TUR or any other minor region so I’m not commenting on it) before commenting and looking like the ass we all are when we are ignorant and lazy.

Great sentinel player, way more consistent on that role when compared to playing jett. I would prefer that he went full time to sentinel.
Given how Ethan has turned out I think that that is not an unreasonable expectation, at least when comparing top 5 NA players.
All of those players are insanely consistent but you are on the right track. Some of them peak higher than the others and I would consider Victor one of the less consistent members of that group. Perhaps TSM's or some of NRG's players are better examples at least in NA since they are great players with inconsistent to bad results when they should be competitive in the Tier 1 space.
NA’s speed is nothing compared to BR’s, NA is the worst of all styles. We have neither the stacked teams, the absurd speed, the great utility, or the insane set plays. BR takes Iceland because no one is prepared for their speed, after that maybe we see NA improve enough to beat NA and BR.
Also I think that the 4th will be C9B. I was pleasantly surprised by their play. Seemed like they just got skill diffed a few rounds vs v1 because they missed some team play a tiny amount. I have hope for the future.
Edit: I’m an idiot and need to go to sleep mobile also is annoying. Ghost Noble and Rice and Meatballs all have a chance in my mind for the 4th slot. Perhaps one of them could upset FaZe or NRG for a spot as well.
