Just want to make it clear. Ethan is still a good player. It is impossible to win multiple trophies while being horrible-however if you put Ethan in talks of top 15 oat you are deranged, nothing against Ethan himself, but compared to the people above him there is a noticable gap

0%-Shotguns are too overpowered for their price and skill level
10%-Bad agents should be buffed/reworked instead of nerfing good agents. Nerfing Neon/Yoru/Viper/Omen, etc. for the millionth time is not going to make Harbor/Breach/Sova any less ass. People will still pick the good characters over the shit ones (I mean, Jet's been nerfed like 10 times and she still has one of the top pick rates)
20%-STOP REMOVING GOOD MAPS. I don't give a fuck they have been here for years. They are GOOD. So stop removing them when the maps you replace them with are god awful. Ascent, Lotus, Haven, and Split should NEVER leave the pool. They are universally agreed on as the best maps, and few people ever have issues with them. The only time you should remove them is if there are too many good maps-but never should a good map be out of the pool and Fuckass Abyss, Breeze, or Icebox be in there.
30%-Reyna is a bad agent even in ranked. There is nothing about Reyna that makes you inherently better than her. If you are good on Reyna, it is because you have better aim than the enemy team and could probably produce the same result but better on a different agent that actually has utility to set up your kills.
40%-5 stacking is the best way to improve at Val as a low-mid level player (as long as you play with people around/above you)-you are able to face harder opponents and actually play with a whole team of people trying to win, which is rarely the case in non 5 stack)
50%-there are very few things in val that NEED to be nerfed. The things people point to usually require decent skill (neon movement, brawk odin, etc.). The things that need to be nerfed are things that are low skill but op (shotguns)
60%-VAL should stop releasing new maps and work on reworking/fixing old ones. icebox has been added and removed 10x and its still ass. Breeze has been added and removed 10x and its still ass. Fracture has been added and removed 10x and it will probably still be ass.
70%-Agent comp rarely matters in ranked-most of the time it's just who has the better aim (comp only matters when you have extreme coordination, which only really happens in very high ranked or 5 stacks)
80%-just because you are high ranked does not mean you have knowledge on the game. lots of players who are high ranked are mostly there because of aim and play few agents-what they say shouldnt be taken as gospel because most of the time they barely know about it
90%-any advice from a content creator that is not a pro/former pro (player, coach, analyst, etc.) is not worth listening to.
100%-they need to stop adding men to the game and just keep it cute girl agents (also notice how all the best agents are cute girls/femboys #nooticing)

Four years. I have been watching VCT for four years, ever since the 2022 NA LCQ.
The first team I fell in love with was DRX during their opening round of Champs 22 and their 12-4 comeback vs Furia.
During that match and that event, I fell in love with Rb as a player, and he cemented himself as one of my favorite players.
At the end of 2023 I had to deal with him getting cut and going to a T3 region.
I had to watch my goat be tiers above the players in his league but still struggle to get wins as the people on his team may as well have been ranked players.
I was slandered, made fun of, and laughed at for my support of him; called an idiot; and told, "Rb is nothing without DRX."
I got to see Rb finally leave his team in China and come back to Pacific, where NS had a decent performance but still ended up relegated.
I had to endure the ridicule and was told Rb would never make it as a tier one player, that he should give up, that I was delusional for ever supporting him.
8 hours ago Rb qualified for the international upper bracket final, guaranteeing himself a top 3 finish, tying his highest ever finish in my very first tournament watching him.
My goat has finally made it back, and it doesn't look like he or NS are stopping any time soon.
I am so happy-even if we lose out here (which I highly doubt) I would still be so happy.
Ive waited four long years for this moment and we are finally here. 💖💖
