Well I can guarantee that you haven't played more dm than me considering its my most played game mode and I often spend 2.5+ hours spamming dm most sessions and on occasion even only play dm, and I see it happen very frequently like when its not a good map, or a few players rage quit, or when a premier team queues together and then just all leave at the same time for whatever reason. Its incredibly tilting when you have to exit a dm before it finishes and then have to wait 2 more minutes in a queue just for it to potentially happen again.

I wouldn't say its the teacher per se, he seems like a pretty cool guy and is pretty funny, its more that its a lecture hall with 600+ students in it and the content itself is boring. Like balancing, calculating moles, finding the percentage of an element in a compound and what not isnt all that interesting.

Why should I have to have a worse experience because a few people decide they didn't want to play for whatever reason, in turn causing half the lobby to leave? Like some people just want to have a quality dm rather than having half the lobby leave every other dm.

Currently you should only pick players in the swiss stage because the players on teams past the swiss stage already won't get points for the first week and then when playoffs starts you can swap some of those first seed players in. Also in the bottom left of the page there is a notices pop-up and usually that contains useful/important info.
