How do none of you know what an academy does??? Where does this misconception that an academy has to develop unknown talent come from? An academy exist for the sole purpose of being a talent pipeline into tier 1 teams, they don't care if a player is known or not, they just care if the player is talented. The primary goal for academy teams is developing talent, training future main roster members, and experimenting with subs or role swaps. Also selling off talented players is not the reason an academy roster is made, it is made to nurture talent, provide experience, and allow for internal roster flexibility.
