Yes, I understand and agree that there are many Brazilians who go overboard, and i REALLY dont agree with them. But as you said, there are also moments where the teasing exceeds that we are a scenario that is third world and is developing.

Never, my friend. I'm not trying to justify, and I strongly criticize those who do, I'm just giving a parallel view. Those who make threats shame the brazillian community.

Thanks for complementing the topic. I see in several topics that people don't know about some difficulties of being Brazilian, of being called a monkey or being sent back to the favela by most chats on twitch, or international games, or not having, in practically every game, teams that can pay fair wages to players. But I don't even mention because it's already part of our life, and outsiders wouldn't understand, or would just say they're excuses.
Btw, true about the Andreas death threats.. in this case, its a real deal, wtf.. sadge to think about it

I know, but I thought it was important to try to clarify these things.

You are right in your point. But what I tried to say in this was to focus on the fact that most of the people who do this are just kids or misspelled. Not that this justifies anything, but just lip service. But you're right, it wasn't a good call.
@Edit: and btw, I was rereading, and just to make it clear: even though I tried to justify it (which I know was mistaken), I really think this culture is wrong and it has to end. This type of threat is not only sad for the game, it shames the Brazilian community.

Nah, death threat is just made by some internet kids.. in soccer, we do respect germany, as they respect us, even with the 7x1 (btw, it was in my city rip)

Hey guys,

It's my first post here on vlr, but I've been following it since the beginning and I'd like to share an insight with you.

Im brazilian and Im fully aware of how toxic people in my community can be. And I'm not here to defend who is wrong, much less who makes death threats to other people.
But, have you ever stopped to think if any of these death threats have already had any results or any kind of harm to the threatened people?
I mean, usually people who do this are internet kids, or people who write expressions in Portuguese and the translator makes it look like they're threatening.

I know I can't generalize, there are always those people who go beyond the game, as happened once in the csgo LAN championship with BIG against MIBR in Brazil - Belo Horizonte. However, the person who cursed Big was completely screwed by the Brazilian public when they found out what they did.

The vast majority of Brazilians are just passionate and want to see the team be competitive. As FURIA today filled us with pride for having a great clash against Sentinels. We do not want to keep creating problems for nonsense, but we will always cheer for the growth of our scenario, something that emerged since CS 1.6 and the soccer vibes.

The pause issue today generated a controversy that was solely Riot's fault, and I think it's very wrong for people to blame Sentinels. However, in relation to any type of threats, I think the best thing anyone does is just ignore and block these types of people, as Dapr himself said in his live.

Hope everyone has a good champions experience, and that we continue to have good games.

Peace
