well you have seen enough of something against top tier competition in VCT...but CN players in champs have 1 good series with insane clutch (so mechanically gifted) and they should be in conversation of best in their role? not to take anything away from someone like nobody but he "just" won 4 insane clutches in a game while struggling to be on par to standard when it comes to util. there surely are many good players there but the point of underrated at least imo is that someone performs on high level all year round and doesnt get enough praise, which aint really possible for china teams considering only 2 are actually competitive
they are mostly rather overrated cause almost every player in champs can have a good series...except KangKang noone really showed it more then once

If they qualify for finals they somehow gotta have impact no? cause in a team game it is not really possible to make it into finals with 2 "overrated/bad players". especially if you have your igl in boaster who didnt really perform that hot in terms of kills etc....
and it is averages so how does the amount of matches really impact the statlines? it is even per round on most stats as well.
even more impressive to have good numbers on a team where the others are fucking cracked as well but hey....

Same as Americas or Pacific could be called one team region....ain't noone from Americas really convincing except EG...both NAVI and TL had a good chance to beat NRG and barely lost (I don't use it not often but it was literally a throw from TL in the first map)...and let's not talk about LOUD in this event.

They do put themselves I lots of situations where smoke kills do get easier by util usage or positioning...they just do a good job at clearing the rat corners with util and then spray some offangles based on the tape they watch....if you have boostio/c0m pushing every second smoke they will spam that shit if they do their homework

the player bases were not comparable on a top level....on every on NA team there was 3 EU on a similar level...just way more history on the competetive level because EU had the early stages of CSS and 1.6 on a lan environment early on...there was a max of 3 teams that were really on the highest level and a team of matchfixers that kinda screwed some chance in their one right

or its just a momentum based league that aint as hard as people make it out to be...and if players dont get burnout by playing more and also mostly more organized (as confirmed a lot by FNS/chet/ardiis etc. after they all bootcamp in EU before big tourneys normally) scrims then most americas teams how are they not getting burnout?

And if you don't play the teams in the tournament there are not as many good scrim partners as there are in Americas or EMEA I think
