We all do! Most young players in tier 1 teams need guidance and experience in their teams. Rb didn't got that right away like most NA and EU teams did, for example 100T in the case of Asuna and dicey playing with 3 top tier CS players, or most recently KRÜ with Onur and Klaus leading a team full of players with no LAN experience, or BIG, with Twisten being guided by gob b. Sadly there's not a lot of FPS top tier experienced IGLs in Asia like there's in other regions.

He's a demon whatever he plays in the region, he only needs more time to get used to LANs and international pro play.

Yeah but he could be a good flex player with time and practice. Ofc he didn't perform as well as he was expected to at Champions but he had so little time to practice his Sova and Flex agents. Maybe now with more time practicing with VK he could've gotten better.

It could've been the fit but flyuh already got the sync and teamwork with Larrybanks. It's a good move for orgs to pick 2 players from the same team just bc they play good around eachother. E.g: nukkye & AvovA (out of TH), Sacake, PHYRN & Shrew (UCAM), even al0rante played well with amilwa in his team.

Maybe they saw the potential in Larrybanks and decided to give him a chance to grow with a better team. A lot of tier 2 players could get way better with only a few months in a tier 1 roster.

Finally, somebody mentioned sterben. Man's been on the top of TR and gets almost no recognition only bc of FUT not getting to international events. He's one if not the best non-duelist player in TR imo.

posted about 2 years ago

True, still aproto could've been the safest pick. Investing time in Larrybanks is beneficial for the player and for the scene but if it doesn't work out or if he doesn't play up to de expectations he could end up like most tier 2 players. aproto in the other hand has already proven he's worth the chance and even if he underperforms could still get picked up by tier 1 or 2 orgs, maybe going back to LG or joining ABX, SoaR, Apeks...

posted about 2 years ago

I said it was the best for the scene and for the players, not for the team. There's better players in each one of the roles they needed to fill, aproto being one of the best options if not the best rn.

Mixing 2 really good players and young talent with an experienced player is the best they could do for the Valorant scene. Each one of them will grow professionaly from this experience.

It is funnier than it is impressive. Like, his whole team is letting him win the round alone. Not like a 1v5 clutch but a 1v5 carry.

I haven't seen his streams but I watched most of his interviews, even with hispanic streamers like Kam1 and various spanish community members. Maybe I'll go watch his streams when I see him live.

nah but I mean, BIG looks and sounds clean. KRÜ looks clean but doesn't sound as good as other tags (imo). 4 letter tags look better to me, like ENVY (not NV even tho it's better), LOUD and 100T

posted about 2 years ago

let's be real, even tho KRÜ's name and meaning is pretty cool, the tag is not really that attractive.

ngl BBL is actually a really good tag

so true, guy's been so humble even when he got to Reykjavik with VKS. He's just the nicest pro player we'll get in this community.

ngl he was looking really strong starting 2021 but he definitely didn't played to the expectations.

finally, not mwzera

surely Sayf and elllement even tho he didn't qualify

posted about 2 years ago

Not based in kills necessarily but performances, consistency and career growth.

In my case, Argentina:

  1. Klaus - KRÜ
  2. saadhak - Ex VKS / LOUD
  3. Nozwerr (nzr) - FUR
  4. Closer - Ex AUS / 6K
  5. puleule / UNNSTO - 9Z

You're right on this one, ec1s is definitely not a fragger and might not be what we are expecting to see in 100T. But still, who knows if he actually performs better in a team environment? Not talking about aim and frags bc I don't know what to expect from him about that rn, hope that doesn't depend on him needing "a good day" to frag as much as the team needs.

800 .325
Been changing it for a while now, I've tried .42, .375, .362, .355 and .285 but seems like changing it that much helped in some ways.

posted about 2 years ago

He shouldn't be judged in the first place if he hasn't even played with the team yet.

a lot of APAC people saying they won't achieve anything this year.

Nobody knows precise info, as LATAM salaries are not being leaked every year like EU and NA contracts. But if we compare CS:GO salaries and BR Val salaries any player excluding the KRÜ roster could perceiving less than any other region Tier 1/2 orgs. I don't want to give false info so anyone that knows any kind of data about salaries around the world, mainly in minor regions, that could be helpful.

posted about 2 years ago

Agree, even tho if Nagz plays really well when he's confident he showed moments of poor performance. The thing is there's not many known Jett players in LATAM, and he's probably "the best one" in the region.

posted about 2 years ago

agree, kinda.
The thing about NA teams other than innovation was their mental. After Champions only the top teams will be able top keep high hopes for their rosters and not change their players in attempts of getting better results.
I'm not expecting anything from them, but watching their teams is refreshing and fun to watch nontheless so at least NA Val will be full of clips and new strats to keep in mind for major tournaments.

posted about 2 years ago

Makes sense since rhyme is already playing in NA servers, no reason to sign him just incase he got Visa issues.

posted about 2 years ago

source and who's hosting it?

posted about 2 years ago

Man they surely can... Ibai and Piqué almost surely got more money than Carlos.

posted about 2 years ago

Yeah ik they're close in some sense but they wouldn't seal a deal in half an hour, they've surely been talking since he got out of the main roster.

posted about 2 years ago

Or it's just for the formality of leaving G2 and not leaking anything.

posted about 2 years ago

Yeah it's important for the language reason but it opens the possibility for a lot of problems, all around toxicity and possible pro drama.

posted about 2 years ago

even if he got an offer days before, why would he wait for an org to give him an offer in half an hour, just before KOI close a deal?

posted about 2 years ago

tan rapido loco?
no way G2 bench him and 3hs later he's signed

posted about 2 years ago

Lol ik but rn he surely doesn't want to do content creation only. Even if he decides to I don't see him discarding the posibility of going back to pro play in a future.

posted about 2 years ago

That's the biggest reason why i say this year BR will be completely better than LATAM, even considering KRÜ.

posted about 2 years ago

The team was made to give LATAM players a possibility to play in their region and not have to move to BR or EU for better posibilities. But it's clear the org is not the problem, it's the region. Rn if they don't keep up the level they'll end up like every other team in LATAM.

posted about 2 years ago

Still I think delz1k's performance was better than Nagz's, just bc he plays a more passive role and keeps it at a good level even against top tier opposition. I don't think he should be the one moving to another team, but if he does I hope he joins a good BR roster.

-Nagz +aspas could've been sick tho
