im not saying they are an wrong "org"... just that they had a very poor ascension run and Optic's return felt too good of a prospect
Is it just me who's not really excited about G2 signing the Guard players. Just seems wrong how an org gets the benefit, going 0-5 in Split 2, due to deep pockets.
I really hoped Optic would make a return through them :(
I mean his fiancee is Japanese. He might lowkey consider it, but realistically I don't think he is going to switch to an entire different continent while Kyedae is going through her treatment.
Zeek wasn't kicked cz of his mental issues. He was just a shitty teammate.
I think he felt a bit betrayed when he got perma benched and had some issues with Alex. Cgrs being chosen in place of him to sub-in at tokyo probably was the last straw.
That money will be used as severence fee for the employees they fire.
If Robert Pattinson is already Batman why are they still casting another different one for the rebooted universe.
Wait a week or so. You'll see how credible my sources are π₯Ά
Insiders saying EG is going bankrupt. Investors pulled out from funding. π€
EDIT: Asks championship winning roster to take paycuts, the ceo definitely got kicked for wasting money and now they are trying hard to cut costs to sustain.
OFFICIAL: Jaccob "yay" Whiteaker has reached verbal agreement with Karmine Corp that he won't be joining them. When asked if he was going to join Karmine Corp in a recent interview he said "Wait what? NO"
keep your friends close but your enemies closer
Why does the GE CEO always tweet like an NPC.

yeah but with halls and left side of mid pillar closed off along with A main being so narrow now, A hits feel so difficult. B is still doable but again same problem appears while trying to take mid control.. idk maybe i just had few bad games.
the halls before, gave opportunities to apply pressure through the door or backstab late round but now if you want to go A its either mid doors or A main and both can be easily held.. shutting of the left side of mid pillars makes it impossible to take control as attacker. you literally have top mid window, b site and mid doors accesible for defence to attack that sole place possible for attackers to come from in mid
getting attack first has been instant ggs for me so far
bro just played a no. of breeze matches and A main feels so congested. also it feels so much easier for defence side to just awp the fuck out of you. maybe its just me idk.
Did someone just call him a wasted talent. Bro's the biggest choker π
You gotta work on your jokes Toaster Boy!!
The bodork tweet about na players trialing for eu teams was for Yay π
Negotiations between Yay and Liquid broke down. Yay wants to explore NA opportunities still.
that leaked steam chat with stewie ended his career.
What? He was mid. Had some good maps here and there but even sym was better than him. No way he gets a franchise call up especially with so much competition.
My point is incase they can't do it. Of course the first ideal option to me too is letting guard players qualify under another org.
Yes. For not letting them have the option of signing to another org and wasting the entire year of T2 with zero promotions.
You're not going have everything put in the rule books. One can only anticipate so many hypothetical situations. That's not a justification to have no teams promoted at all.
What do you guys think about M80 getting the spot instead of no team at all if The Guard players signing to a different org isn't feasible at all. I am getting jumped on valcomp reddit for suggesting it. ( I do think Guard players allowed to sign to a different org should be the first priority, if it's not possible at all then the second best option would be M80 getting the spot instead)
Why does it matter tho.. Like he himself said, it should be earned in game not out of it . So as long as the players get into the franchised leagues, who cares if they play under a new org as long as it satisfies riots criterias of participation.
Why is it even an issue as long as the new org satisfies the criterias and keeps the core players that won Ascension. Cz this will repeat again. Leo can blabber all about signing contracta before ascension, but no org is looking that forward to operating next year in such a volatile non profit industry in case the small probability they do win Ascension. Most sign it saying, let's win first then we will worry about the future.
I am just talking about the second option. Of course ideally THe guard players should be allowed to play for another org.
Basic logic doesn't suddenly dissapear once franchising or ascension gets introduced.
It is. If they can do it for a tournament that took a couple months of qualifiers here you are talking about 8 whole months of hardwork especially when the no. of promotion spots is only 1.
They let TL qualify for Reykjavik 22 instead of FPX as they weren't allowed to attend. But somehow M80 being the second best team out of 100s of teams in 4 regions throughout the entire season isn't enough to make them deserving to enough to get the spot in case of situations like this.
The statement literally implied Guard denied.
its a small developed country surrounded by several other... if they dont make it mandatory negligible amount of people would enlist and they will literally have no army during potential threats/war
how would they know guard will dip out after winning it instead of releasing the players during challengers
