IMO, Bang can stay as controller or sentinel (he anchors well anyway). IGL can play sentinel too.
Derrek is a good player though. I am sure he will find success. It's just sad that it's not working out on this iteration of 100T.

I think Sentinels can beat Fnatic if they put in the effort. They just need a solid IGL, or Marved should evolve into a god IGL soon.
They have the firepower (Sacy, Pancada, Marved are all international winners, Zekken is a top flex and TenZ has great aim). It's weird when TenZ looks like the weakest link in a team.
People would call Sentinels a superteam if they win dominantly in a row, but it's harder in NA (the gap between teams is smaller in NA).
Yes you are right. Fnatic, TL and Navi are above other EMEA teams in firepower.
But I think if EG can do this well, other teams can also do it if they put in the right effort.
I am trying to say that there are good underrated players still available. What matters is recognizing them and forming a good team, and we will start calling them a superteam too if they win consistently.
Yes, they left in groups and didn't make to Tokyo, just like Leo and Sayf when Guild was not making LANs.

Navi is still a superteam, they just don't seem to work.
Consider it from Navi's pov. They have insane players and they were considered better than Leo last year because Navi was winning, while Leo was stuck carrying a losing team with Sayf. So they won't drop anyone for Leo. They got cNed instead of ardiis, which seems fair enough.
TL is the team that messed up. They could have gotten Leo, Sheydos or Trexx instead of Soulcas and they would have had a superteam.
Even now, there are players like Leo stuck carrying average teams. We don't rate them higher than the players from top teams, just like everyone rated Navi, Optic, Loud players above Leo last year.
fnc was already insane before franchise and they just dropped their 2 worst players and picked up arguably their current 2 best players

Sheydos is in the same situation as Trexx.
At least now, we should realize that there are really good players on teams that are losing, but we don't pay attention to them because their teams are bad and they don't have results.
Navi has similar firepower. You won't agree now because Fnatic plays better than Navi, but if you asked to compare these players last year, people would prefer the Navi players even though Leo was still playing well on Guild.
TL could have made a similar team by just picking up Sheydos or Trexx instead of Soulcas when they had the chance. (Yes, Cloud looks like a better option now, but back then, he wasn't considered better than Sheydos and Trexx).

Last year when Leo and Sayf were carrying Guild and still losing, nobody here called them the best in the world. They were just considered good players on bad teams. People still rated Marved, Pancada, Less, Sacy, Crashies, and other players from top teams above Leo. Now that Fnatic picked up Leo and Chronicle, "they are the best in the world". TL got nAts and Sayf. They could have had a superteam if they got Sheydos/Trexx instead of Soulcas, but they didn't. Navi still has 4 players of superteam caliber (these 4 players were considered above Leo by most people when Leo was stuck on Guild).

EG had smoke kills too, but it happened in middle rounds, so most of them didn't get noticed. Leo got the series winning smoke kill so that stays in our minds more.

EG is really impressive because their firepower is a bit less than these teams but they still win because of strats and util.

Both teams had luck, but EG had more. Everyone will remember Leo's smoke kill because it won the series, but Ethan and Jawg were getting smoke kills too. They also had two 0.15-0.5 second defuses.
Both teams are good. Both teams got some lucky rounds from sprays and smokes kills. I think Fnatic looked a bit better overall, but they looked really lost on Fracture attack for a few rounds after Boostio hit that shot near the door while in the seize. It seemed like that round and the 0.15 defuse after that kind of threw Fnatic off and they weren't able to attack properly once they got worried of the Boostio op.

Mini and Sliggy have said that Fnc can play Pearl, but they don't want to show it.
Tbh though, I think their Pearl won't be that good since they have less matches on it, and they might not play Harbor.
