2024 just started
100T just keeps throwing the game away at crucial points. Hope they can play better in league.
I think Leo and Alfa will have more impact on the server since much of KC's footage is out now. KC probably has better coaching.
They had to beat them at some point to qualify, and I think 100T actually should have beat Lev if not for Aspas show.
FNC > KC in leagues.
If it's stupid, they should have beat PRX. I think he is frustrated at how unorthodox PRX decisions are. A Gekko peeking out mid with an Op in OT is just not what you see from other teams.
It's not luck. TenZ and Zekken are very good.
I think Loud will win if Cauanzin and Less play well at the same time. Loud should let Cauaunzin play Sova/Fade instead of Breach so that he can take more fights like he used to.
We will see.
Kickoff is the only time Fnatic didn't have much footage on teams like KC and TH. Leagues will favor FNC. Even FUT will beat KC and TH in Split 1.
EG was not good at the start of 2023, but they won Champions.
Loud went out in groups in Tokyo, then placed 3rd in Champions.
I agree that Bisk is good, not sure if Zeddy is an upgrade over Boaster.
Also, what happened to your positivity arc?
I never said Americas is free or Pacific is ass, but I can tell you that Fnatic's players are too good to sit at home all year. They will be back.
I think the inexperience of TH and KC made them lose. I think at least one of those teams will do really well in the next international. FNC should be back as well. I don't think they would be chilling after that loss to KC.
It's double elim, chill out.
Agreed, he just got pushed with util, maybe they should have used util back instead of jiggling.
rematch if you include kickoff right?
KC really dying to an oping Gekko with 3 initiators on the team.
KC really dying to an oping Gekko with 3 initiators on the team.
What happened exactly? I thought it would be close.
Damn, Loud really smoked EDG 13-2, 13-3?
Missed the match.
I don't think KC is a level above the other teams, even though the results were 2-0. KC and TH were new teams, but now other EMEA teams know what to expect from them.
FUT lost 1-2 to KC.
FNC can still dominate if they change up their playstyle enough to not get hard read by others. KC showed how FNC has some predictable patterns.
So you put Demon1 in S+ and Leo, Alfa in A?
I believe EG is a good team. They had some cool ideas in kickoff.
if you mean EG by "Americas big guns", I think EG needs to earn it again because it's a new team now.
Geng should be favored in BO5, but Sen has been improving fast.
I think it will be either a 2-0 win for Sen or a 1-2 win for Geng.
Yeah, I think Cauanzin is stronger on Fade/Sova.
Geng does better on Jett maps and Lotus. They will probably ban split/sunset against Sen.
So the teams that lose tomorrow are out
So far, Geng is better on Jett maps and Sen on Raze maps.
KC's map pool doesn't look as good as Geng or Sen. I still wouldn't rule out KC because they might cook something. Their map picks against Sen were not ideal.
His Gekko on Icebox had 1 assist, but he pulled things back the next two maps. WP.
Sen vs Geng will be interesting. Sen has been shaky on Jett-Kayo maps, and Geng has been good on Ascent and Icebox. Geng also has a good Lotus.
When did TH beat FNC? Which year are you talking about?
I used to comment on every post after Tokyo that Fnatic should play new comps, but the more I watch them play, the more I start to see patterns in their style. If I can mindlessly watch games and see stuff, I'm sure coaches can see much more. KC had great reads on what FNC was doing at most game stages.
They should play more confidently to win. They plan to retake too often and give away sites very easily, and now other teams have observed them enough to walk in and take sites for free. They also don't make a lot of bold lurk plays. Alfajer is very good in 1v1; he can take more space than he does now. Being unpredictable > playing methodically.
I think they will be back to the top of EMEA once they have seen other teams play, but I don't think they can win international events if they don't make their playstyle harder to predict.
crazy how the guy they hyped to be the best raze did not even play raze this time.
yeah I saw it
I think qck is a flexible player who picks it for the team.
He definitely proved it. I just can't help but wonder what happened in TSM.
