so funny how people truly undervalued the igl like it's a toss away role, not knowing how important it is for a team. it's stupid sometimes hearing these arguments about fns is dogshit because he can't frag, when most of the time, he's setting yay up for a frag, he's setting his team up for success. and the roles as well. KJ, Viper (no util that can help in a 1vX fight), fade/breach (their role is to set their teammates up for success, or for info gathering). frag do matter, but not that much for an igl. we don't go around and say ange1 needs to frag to help FPX, we don't go and say "boaster has to frag to help fnatic". we dont go and say saaddak has to frag to help LOUD. all of them are great igl, but they don't need to frag to be good. boaster is always trying to call and set derke, alfa to frag; saaddak is always calling and setting aspas, less, sacy and pancada up for success (map 1 first half he was at the bottom, and everyone praises his name). ange1 is always trying to set up the likes of shao, suygetsu and ardiis to frag. fns is doing the same thing with yay, victor, marved. why are you blaming your IGL for a loss? why aren't you blaming someone like marved (hasn't been nearly as good as people had hoped for), or even victor (this match: 4/9 FK/FD)

they have tl next which should be easy for them for one reason, tl has a terrible pearl showing vs prx, and they banned fracture as their insta. optic is literally the worst matchup they could face right now

so we just forgot about his performance on lan in berlin last year? he's already proven that he's one of the best players in NA at that tournament? and this year with a role switch, he has performed great. stats doesn't mean everything, i mean he's 7-6 in terms of fk-fd as a skye/kayo last game. 7-7 vs fnatic earlier on roles like sage and skye, (4-2 on sage btw) his stats aren't the best, but it's his impact kills that really helped 100t, especially vs fnatic earlier.

overall, great year for them. to even make to champions was a success for them. And then taking a W against Fnatic, and going toe to toe vs DRX, 2 of the best team in world, while having players in isolation, is remarkable. Oneof the youngest, if not the youngest team in the tournament, and it wasn't even their 100%? they will be back even stronger

derke op on defense? have you played the map? derke solo anchor b, while the rest played a or mid, and your telling me that they only won4 defensive rounds? against that comp from 100t, which has only the nade from will, and prowlers from derrek to clear him. also they should have gotten way more rounds on attack if alfa was the spear of the attack instead on derke. it was bad gameplan from mini on the attack, and curious playcalling from boaster on defense

be real. 100t beating fnatic on haven and pearl wasn't fluke or luck. fnatic's bad gameplan came up and 100t exploited it. that's why they changed the comp vs furia, and that's why they banned it straight way vs 100t rematch

Asuna > cryo/zekken. Bad tourney for him though, but don't be delusional and say asuna is overrated or asuna is a bad player because of one tournament. one of the best flex player, probably in the world, there's no denying that.
