im not baiting. I used to main Omen but Astra and Viper are infinitely better than him right now. even Brim has more impact because of his ult.

maybe Omen is ok in low elo because his smokes are much easier to place and play around. But in high elo you need the utility and map pressure that Astra and Viper create (+ teammates actually know how to play around it)

other than his B-tier smokes, shadow step is ass and rarely useful outside of getting out of shitty positions (which you could simply avoid by being a better player), from the shadows is dogwater compared to almost every other ult in the game, ESPECIALLY other controller ults which are by far the best.

the only thing keeping Omen even somewhat viable is paranoia but even then he only has 1 while Astra and viper have multiple pushstopper/execute utilities.

TLDR: Omen is ok at low elo bc hes easy but shit high elo because Astra and Viper have so much more utility.
