maybe the best flex player in the world last year and hes not good... that makes total sense.

yeah they would have to change up their comps and play style too much. zekken might be able to fill tenz's spot as duelist, but no one can fill zekken's spot as flex with the same strength and agent pool.

dephh is sentinel/lurking smokes, pANcada - smokes (if we take that silly ranked theory, he could also be sentinel), sacy - initiator, marved -smokes

With the current meta, I think not having tenz would be pretty detrimental for the structure of the team comp. (also marved has said he doesn't even want to play and that's why he wasn't on a team until being SEN's sixth, unless that has changed without him saying anything)

bro doesn't realize every na gc player is radiant

marved himself has said he wants to take a break from playing... he would not just sign to a team with a clear starting five at this point in time especially with how good he is. He is most likely just going to be a signed streamer there because teams are required to have a sixth man, and for SEN having both a big streamer and a very competent player to sub IF needed is a great option. That's why they had Sick and now with what is going on there, they are just using marved in the exact same way.

Also the theory about pancada switching to sentinel because of ranked games is so absurdly silly.

don't get me wrong I think he's a really good player, but there is a difference between the flex role and playing different smokes agents.

Flex role you play a bunch of different roles like initiator, smokes, duelist, sentinel... tuyz was just playing smokes (brim, harbor, astra, omen)

tuyz was playing smokes the entire tourney, I would not consider him to be a flex player by any means (at least in that LOUD system)

don't hate on runi and jakee. they got signed because of the wacky circumstances of the org just being very not good... the two of them aren't frauds, your expectation of this team should be low (maybe 0-6 start to season looking at schedule) just because c9 fucked up

this tweet sums it up pretty perfectly: https://twitter.com/seangares/status/1636045420781768704

I think its fine to give the region two teams because the region has pretty solid talent in the scene (or so I have heard). Just both Zeta and ESPECIALLY DFM did not make very good roster moves to actually compete in the franchise league. Basically, the region as a whole has players that can compete, just those teams are probably not the best show of talent the Japan region can produce.

add3r and governor on ttr are both 19 on I think and both look really promising.

this is a totally very smart take, if you have watch zekken's streams from this current act you can totally tell that he is going to be the new smokes player for SEN. If you look at his valorant tracker (im too lazy to figure out how to upload a picture but his name is 'sen z' rn look up yourself) from a week ago he was dropping 25+ a game on viper. This entire act he has been playing mostly omen and viper.... very strong evidence perhaps?????

This is very big, very real speculation, totally matters and has effects on their pro play 100000%%%%% of the time!!!!!!!! Please keep looking at ranked games and scrim results to form full opinions on how teams will play and perform in real matches!!! IT ALWAYS WORKS!!!!!

Did you even watch anything other than that one clip? Even if you only saw that one clip of Tarik saying that if Brazil wanted more events in the future that the crowd emptying when LOUD lost and FNATIC were doing their interview type of behavior wasn't acceptable. It is not an insult. It is just a critique on ONE THING. Pretty much every other moment of his stream he was talking about how much he enjoyed the environment of the crowd, even when people in his chat were spamming "L CROWD" he was talking about how it was cool that the fans in the arena were so passionate. And that the people online should understand just how harsh the conditions in the arena were, especially the heat.

Just the simple idea that Tarik was "disrespecting the crowd" is kind of wild because as someone who was actually watching the stream he was always talking about how good the atmosphere was. You are just trying to fan the flames on nothing. He said he loved the crowd just wished it showed more love for other teams as well (which he did acknowledge that they did, it was just not in that clip)

I think a lot of people on this site just look at the stats of "oh dephh bottom frag = he bad" and don't seem to think much about the bigger picture of the team structure and how all the pieces of a valorant team fit together. Dephh tends to play the very heavy lurk roles (kj, cypher, astra etc...) so of course his stats aren't going to look very good. He does what he is asked to do. He may not be a flashy star player but he will get you wins.

Another thing people seem to not talk about, that this BcJ tweet points out wonderfully https://twitter.com/BcJFPS/status/1635762319358844928 is that dephh has worked with the entire coaching staff of SEN before when he was on XSET and clearly those coaches value his skills as an IGL and player enough to bring him over to work with him on this new roster as well.

I just think it's kind of crazy for people to talk about replacing him when they are a brand new team who haven't been practicing for very long time (a month or so) when we saw them play ONE game against maybe the best team in the world...
